Found out the hard way the reason they are cheaper to replace the broken glass on phones is because they use cheap glass that broke again in 2 days. $380 down the drain, TWICE!! The 2nd replacement glass broke in 4 days even with me being EXTREMELY careful with it. I can't afford to do it again for a 3rd time! I had to pay to get the glass replaced again TWICE so it would have been far less expensive to get the apple quality glass the first time & I would have had I known that. I didn't find that out until the 2nd time I had it replaced (they don't guarantee/warranty this!) & that broke in 4 days! I'm not hard on my phone at all so it's ridiculous that this is their scam! They also said my phone antenna was bad & replaced that. Now since they "fixed" that, it barely works unless I'm hooked up to wifi. It gets stuck & wont advance to the next screen. Since I'm on the road a lot this is VERY difficult to deal with! AND the battery now doesn't hold a charge for longer than 2 hours! This wasn't an issue until they fixed the glass! I've been to Shoreline PC a few times in the past four years to have laptop issues resolved. I've…read morealways found them to be honest, helpful, and accurate in their pricing estimates. The one time a laptop was damaged beyond its repair value, Shoreline PC simply said it would be better to replace than to pay for the extensive repairs (moral of the story: don't let your dog knock your laptop off the dining room table). Repairs have been done within a matter of days, never taking longer or costing more than I was told. Last time I was in the store to pick up a repaired laptop, one of the staff was helping an older gentleman with a PC. The customer wasn't able to get online at home, and his internet provider insisted the problem was with the PC. Shoreline PC hooked up the guy's PC, connected to the internet, and helped him determine that his PC was fine. Then, the staff advised him he was welcome to stay as long as he needed to check his email, go online, etc. The customer asked how much he owed them for their time, and the technician said, "No charge for this," then advised the man on how to deal with his internet provider, which service he should switch to, etc. Knowledgeable staff, reasonable pricing, great customer service.
