On Saturday afternoon, August 13th, I had the pleasure of dealing with "Hey iRepair" employee Andy. I had originally gone into that store for repairs to a friends iphone and "Hey iRepair" was recommended to me by a cell phone sales company. I understand "Hey iPhone" has been in business at that West Main St location for SIX Years, but living here in Norwich, I never knew that. Store employee Andy suggested that we leave that cell phone for repairs and he fully explained in detail, the cost for such service, including the $50.00 required deposit, that it would be fully refunded if repairs could NOT be made or applied to the repair cost if that phone could be repaired. Then I pulled out my own cell phone in which I could NOT post any pictures to my email address, to then forward to others, or that other people sending me photos to my email address was not going through either. About 3 or 4 months ago, I had gone to another cell phone repair and I was told; "my cell phone photo's were going up into the iclouds and disappearing. Being old school, (73 years old), I had no idea what he was talking about, but I just wrote it off as a loss. Then I talked to Andy about it. Andy looked at the phone, checked some things out and in a matter of about 20 minutes, he was able to make the complete repair. No problem for him. He certainly knows his job and I am once again, "a very happy man", thanks to "Hey iRepair". I would also like to add that I never give credit unless credit is due. In this case, Andy totally impressed me and after paying the simple $50.00 charge plus tax, I walked out "one very satisfied customer". I intend to refer all of my friends in the area of this GREAT Service. They also repair lap tops, ipads, etc. I told Andy that I also send out a monthly newsletter to a group of about 125 people and I wanted to send a few pictures to them in that newsletter. Well, I just did that and they successfully went through. In those 125 emails, I had also mentioned the repairs were made thanks to Andy at "Hey iRepair" on West Main St in Norwich. Johnny open the store Hi it's the best thing around here since sliced bread I know of at least 15 people I have sent there for cell phone repair / screen / replacement cell phone / tablets Needing replacement chips eating chips He might tell you a half hour but on the four iPhone products that Johnny has worked on for me usually pops the screen and replaces my iPhone 6 ass screen in about eight minutes . Then Johnny will go through all the functions on the phone with all the applications to ensure to ensure that when you walk out of the store that everything is working properly also puts out a little warrantee like 30days. If you notice something a little bit fishy and you're not sure or even if you want to get another extra 30 days out of it just called you running up within the first 30 days and tell me take you see something but his periodic and random thought but keep checking and yes Johnny will replace the screen again under 60 days NO questions asked Matter fact at about at about 10 after 10 Johnny will be calling me today to come to my house because I'm buying a nice sweet iPhone 7 working really good looking as nice gave me a great price on I couldn't refuse so he's going up to drop it off at my house because I'm a double amputee about 2 miles away from the store but I can't go down there today because my power chair is broken so Johnny said no problem don't wait for tomorrow if you want to today I just bring it up to your house Mike like I did last time I picked up loan I fix your tablet I said thanks Johnny give me a call when you coming up my road and I'll meet you outside save some time for coming to the door he just a right you can't beat you John is always cool the cucumber great conversation and all staff in the back room a professional is doing phenomenal work so I'll send your phones over to his business unless you got plenty time to waste going to other people wait for them to fix it go hon when you want your phone fixed fast fixed right it fixed right in front of your very own eyes go see Johnny right down here on West Main St., Norwich, CT read more

I was very surprised by this repair store. I brought my IPhone 13 in after I successfully replaced the speaker but broke the screen and lost 3 screws. The shop is owned by three friends who started it up a few years ago. Customer service was obvious from the very start. Johnny, one of the owners, opened it and explained what I did wrong and checked every component to make sure there wasn't further damage. He then replaced the missing screws and screen. I asked him to put on a screen protector which, for some reason, took three attempts. Because of he was dissatisfied with the screen protector, he did not charge me. I had tried two repair shops in my area before going here. One was out of business the other (Verizon) only had a tech in their store one day a week. On a Thursday Evening, my iPhone SE suddenly shut down at 10%, and no longer worked. After trying to figure out for days what was wrong, I assumed the battery somehow broke. I was ready to head to Bestbuy to have the battery replaced, when I passed by Hey iRepair on the road, and decided to go in to see if they could fix it. Andy at the desk talked with me, and asked me to leave the phone with him. Within less than 4 hours he called back, told me he identified the problem (which wasn't the battery, and instead a more complicated component), and quickly repaired it for me. HeyiRepair Andi & Kevin are great, professional, no nonsense and go far beyond providing service. I'm from Florida my iPhone died during a iOS update I mean DFS. They were able to save all photos and most data. This phone had not been updated in years. Less than an hour the phone was restored. I'm older so I hot stop to my iPad for larger print & maps while driving. It was important to me both be fully functional. I have been to Hey iRepair twice. Both times, Andy, I assume to be the owner, was extremely friendly and honest. The first time I went, I thought my screen was cracked and he looked it over and said there was a screen protector installed and nothing was broke or cracked. I offered to pay for his time and he refused. This morning I was there, as I fell and bent my Samsung 21. He looked it over and said that the cost to fix it would not be worth the expense. The store was recommended to me by a friend and I can't say enough about the team of young men helping customers and fixing phones was extraordinary . The top half of my phone screen was unresponsive after the kids dropped it and Andy at iRepair was able to fit us in right away and fixed it at a reasonable price right in front of us in about 15 minutes. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough - and even invited my 4 year old son to watch and help with a couple screws which made his day. Hey i repair fix my sons tablet a few months back with a new charge port. Now fast forward 3-4 months it's not working again because my son dropped it. Hey I repair & their awesome crew took it apart found the problem it was two loose screws fixed it soldered it back up tight replace the glass all for free.! Now where are you going to find people that stand behind their work as good as that? I would recommend hey I repair for any type of circuit board repair on any device. I don't usually take the time to do a Yelp review but these guys are AWESOME! I was hoping to get some sentimental photos off of my phone that flew off of the roof of a moving car. Not only did they get the pictures, they were able to get my very broken phone working like new! But the best part was Johnny and Andy! Came in with a 7th Generation iPad Model A2197 that had a charge connector broken off in the charge port. The technician quoted $35 to remove the broken connector from the port. (your estimate may be higher or lower depending on difficulty, device type, and damage). All the work was done within two hours and I received my device back in perfect condition the same day! Walked in and met a pleasant, helpful man who told me he could fix my phone in 20 minutes. Told me it would be one price to repair the port and another if he needed to replace it. I thought to myself "he will certainly have to replace it". Twenty minutes later I walked out with a repaired port for the lower of the 2 prices. I would have never been able to dispute if he told me I needed a new port. I really appreciate his honesty. I had broken my phone and I thought hey I'll just buy a screen and fix it myself... well I did that and I got mostly all of it working except for the cameras I couldn't do that part so I brought my phone here and the fixed it same day took about an hour!
