Not much to say about this Verizon location. Although it's in a small strip mall and share's the free parking lot with the other businesses, there is always parking spaces available. The store is neat and clean. Masks are required by all, and hand sanitizer stations are at the store entrance. Made a reserved time to come in to talk to an employee regarding what options I have with my aging phone. It's paid off, but the new versions are being released and I wanted to know how much more I would have to pay and what options the new phones have versus just staying with my current 3 year old phone. (Don't judge! lol). I got my answers that I needed, but didn't commit. Nor was the salesperson pushing me to buy, which I thought was great, because I normally would say no to sales pressure. I got some good information from the employee regarding the new phone I'm thinking about getting, but not just yet. I've been with Verizon for 15 years. I know Verizon service is more expensive than other carriers, and I know other carriers have stepped up their game during the past 15 years. However, I've never had any issues with Verizon's wireless/cellular service at all. My friends who have competing national carriers can't say the same thing about their service. read more

I had a wonderful experience with the staff here, from the initial greeting at the door to assistance with upgrading my phone. Chester answered all of my inquiries regarding the upgrade process and provided a wealth of knowledge regarding other products I was interested in. At one point, I had to step away to take a work call while my other phone was restoring its backup, and the staff had no issues with that and were very accommodating. The store manager, Jatu, was just as friendly and attentive, checking in on the process and providing additional insight when requested. read more

Shockingly incompetent and low work ethic at this "corporate" Verizon location. I'm a former Senior Network Engineer who at one time, designed most of Verizon's fiber in the ATL area; I know how the internal systems work. I used to be the guy moving numbers and networks for this company in ATL. So when it's taking NINE DAYS to "port" my phone service from ATT (also my former employer) to Verizon, you can imagine the surprise. Technically and physically speaking, porting numbers are literal key strokes that take seconds. So then why is it taking NINE DAYS to move 4 phone lines? That's because Verizon employees are minimally trained, they have no tech skill, and apparently Verizon has given up on merit based hiring because the employees are not professional. They do treat you as if you are a nuisance and that they are doing you a favor just speaking to you. I left the corp world to become a tech entrepreneur; and it's going great. Except, for the past NINE DAYS, I've not received the first phone call, or text, or email on my phone. All because Verizon doesn't have employees competent and professional enough to do a job, any job or function well and efficiently. The store manager who had the misfortune of seeing me yet again could literally DO NOTHING, except start the porting process that we began NINE DAYS ago, ALL OVER AGAIN. So on the ninth day of Verizon service, I had to walk out of this "corporate" location (you'd think they'd put their best employees in a corporate store) with NO SERVICE YET AGAIN, FOR THE NINTH DAY. I'm also a former BellSouth/ATT employee (who's handled MCI/Verizon since 1998), who tried to move service from one old employer to another; and I can see that both company's still suck. ATT and Verizon, the best of the worst. While in this "corporate" location, of the 4 customers in there (not including me), one was a new customer being clearly suckered into new service; but the other three were in for service issues themselves. Verizon store employees cannot do anything for you. All they'll do is put you on the phone with someone else, who's going to tell you that someone else needs to help you. It's high time for company's like Verizon to go away. Poor service, poor technical services and abilities, lacking in merit based employees. The people working in the corporate stores are NPC's just meant to draw you and and take your hard earned money. read more

Wish I can rate below one store. I called to place an order over the phone for in store pick up, they were having difficulties with payments via telephone with Verizon, the rep told me I can either order online or just buy it in store. So I ordered it online and when I arrived at the store they told me I couldn't pick it up until the next day, nor could I purchase in store without an appointment, while everyone just stood around doing nothing. The manager came out and was helpful at all. One gentleman was kind enough to bring me tissue because this was so frustrating, but other than that. Poor customer service I've been with Verizon for three years it's expensive and not worth it. read more

Sadly I finished a call in the car. I walked into store at 5:02 or 5:03 pm and they said appointments only! No signage on door. The employee said around 5 pm - 6 pm appointments only. Noted a few employees just standing and talking. Why in the world would you have to make an appointment when you have staff doing nothing. What happened to customer service? In fact excellent service. Do you want to lose a long term Verizon customers? Management get a grip of this policy you have given them. If they are not busy... take a walk-in. I have spent a lot of money over the years! This is customer "no service" is shameful! I thought about posting a pic of how they were not busy. I just wanted to ask a question on an email I received. She knew how to accomplish everything I needed from my initiation of my Verizon account, to starting up and transferring my phone, and even sold me a tablet. Avoid this corporate location. They dont train their experts. Have had this problem 2/3 of the time over an extended number of years. Was having dinner nearby and wife thought verizon could help with phone memory issue. Expert only knew to 1. clean casche, 2. Buy new phone with more memory, and 3. and drastic option to go back to original settings. When i said to my wife lets trying moving some apps to sd card first, this verizon expert said you cant put apps on the sd card. (This is samsung so yes you can). She said it was mgr who said to reset, so i went over to mgr ashley who claimed she didnt work with this particular expert at all. Explained this to mgr, . Darien was great ! We were looking for what it would cost to switch from Sprint to Verizon. We didn't have our account number and he coached us to say for accounting purposes so we wouldn't be transferred to retention services. He wrote out the costs for phones and was very patience. We didn't get the phones today but will very soon. read more

My wife and I came in to ask about a billing issue. The person who greeted us at the door insisted he could not access our account, so could not help. I explained we just had a simple question about some charges we did not understand, and offered get my lap top from the car and show him. He said we would have to come back, and that the next available appointment would be in three hours. The only other person in the store had just left, so I'm sure he could have just taken five minutes to address our concerns. Considering it would take another hour of driving to return, we decided to just pay the charges and look for another provider. read more

I needed a new phone badly, and I found out I could upgrade already...it just happened to coincide with the release of iPhones. Since I was going to be charged $30 either way (gotta make that money since it's so hard for them right), I decided not to order a phone and just come here...and actually get a new phone the day it comes out. I rolled up to a line about 20 people long outside. It was like just past 9:30 and I was given a card where I was #46. Now because they spend so much time trying to upsell everyone on bullshit they don't need, it took almost an hour to get inside. At least it was nice outside I guess. It was incredibly stupid how long it was taking because you filled out this card beforehand with your name and number and checked which phone you wanted and if it was an upgrade or new account etc. I am not even kidding that the most time was spent on telling this guy no, I don't want a car charger (actually I do but I'm not paying $30 for it when there's the internet). No I don't want a case, I got a bright ass yellow phone for a reason. No I don't want an $80 charger for away from home. And no was not good enough since you know, with this phone having 4G capabilities, the battery will drain quicker. Where the hell am I going so far from home all the time? Jesus. It was incredibly annoying. I mean give me a break, I was out overnight for about 12 hours later that night, never on WiFi, and my phone was still at 75% battery when I came home. Let's compare that to the one I used to have, where I'd get to work, never use the phone, on my break 2-3 hours into the shift, where it's been on WiFI, it's at 80% and I did nothing. Scare tactics don't sell me things and if five times no is a thing here, WHY? Pretty sure Verizon you make enough money off all the bullshit you put us through for just using the phones (see: no more unlimited data with this upgrade). I did end up getting screen protectors just to make him shut up. "OH I'M SURE YOU'VE SEEN THE SPIDER WEB CRACKED SCREENS OF IPHONES" yeah great I'm sure a piece of plastic over the screen really stops that in most cases. And then of course I had to wait to have it put on but at least that guy was cool. And let's not forget that because the little tablet credit card scanner didn't want to read my Discover card, he entered it and Discover denied it immediately, blocking my account. It wasn't until hours later that they called to ask if it was me, and apparently Verizon does some shit that they don't like and causes them to automatically suspend your account in the case of fraud, so really I would pay in cash if you could. read more

THE PEOPLE WHO WORK AT THIS STORE SUCK! I have been here three times, once when I first signed up and twice afterwards for phone issues (one was a battery, one was a dead phone). The second and third times really ruined my experience at this store and was ready to leave Verizon for the terrible customer service and bad attitudes. Details: the second time was because my battery was malfunctioning -- I was told I could either pay $40 bucks for a battery or upgrade early and get have half of my 'new every two' towards a phone ($50 dollar credit). What he meant to tell me was that if I *PAID $50* I could get a refurbished phone. Got an old battery off e-bay (for $5 bucks), it has worked like a charm, don't waste your money. The third time was because the other phone in the account was broken and needed to be replaced. Only 1 month away from our 'new every two' upgrade, I'm RUDELY told by the lady that I need PAY $20 bucks to be eligible for the 'new 2-year contract price'. So, I have to pay you $20 bucks to get a $20 dollar phone as a replacement? And ALSO forfeit my $100 towards a new phone. And that the two phones on the contract are linked and CANNOT be upgraded separately? I called in to Verizon, needless to say, she lied. Still stuck another month if I want that $100 bucks to an upgrade, but both phones can upgrade separately. So know this, it's THIS STORE. Not Verizon. So, if you have issues, don't bother stopping in to this place, just call Verizon directly, they are so much nicer and knowledgeable about what the policies actually are. read more

I'm only giving this store 5 stars because of Nixon. He's the real deal...the best guy they have working in that store. I've been there multiple times over the past couple of years and have had other employees help me but they weren't as nice. Nixon knows his stuff but more importantly he has a lot of patience. He doesn't make you feel stupid and he doesn't try to rush you. He's super thorough and does a fantastic job at explaining things. This store needs more employees like Nixon! read more

My experience during my last visit was much better compared to previous visits. In fact, the associate who helped me, Candice, was amazing. It was time for me to upgrade my device, so I placed an order online and opted to pick it up in the store instead of having it mailed to my home address. I was paired with Candice to help with my upgdade. She knew her stuff, was super friendly and ultimately presented me with a better phone that I would be happy with for the duration of my contract...until it's time for me to renew again. read more

walked in. was told it would just be a few minutes. no check in to let me know any status over the course of 20 minutes. Then i was asked to go to a desk. sat there for another 10 minutes. Started seeing customers that came in after me being serviced. finally asked how much longer and got "10 minutes". to which i walked out and got in my car. then i got a text that they were ready for me. so i went back inside. after walking back inside i was alone, no greeting for 3 minutes. when the rep walked back out I asked "are you ready now?" and got the answer "just need to finish up with this other customer first". Walked out and left. No apology for the wait the entire time. id rather BRADFORD just be honest and say "not sure how long but its going to be a while". just had no feeling at all they they gave any care to my time. read more

I came by this store and was treated with respect, unlike my visit to T-Mobile off of Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs where I was treated like less than a human by the store manager Eric Sanichar. I was told in the most venomous way by Eric Sanichar that my out of State ID was not accepted by T-Mobile for creating a new account. I just recently moved to Ga after graduating with an MBA. My experience at this Verizon store was the complete opposite. I was graciously greeted when I entered and spoken to with kindness. Before I knew it, I was out the door with my new service and phone. Is 4 years too long to finally get a phone upgrade? I finally took the time and went in to grab a new one. One line on our account is still an old skool non-smartphone, so BRITTNEY let us know we could use my uncle's upgrade to get the new iPhone + iPad mini for the same price of just the new iPhone on my upgrade. Totally went with the the double deal for the same price! I could put an iPad mini to good use. She also hooked us up with an extra discount. Okay, so all sales associates could hook you up, I'm sure. Perhaps all or most sales associates could also tell you about the promotions for which you are eligible. BUT what set BRITTNEY apart from the rest of the Verizon sales associates I've had in the past was her awesome personality and customer service. She took the time to talk to me about my lifestyle needs and didn't try to get me the biggest, baddest phone out there. She was patient with my parents' questions about the Edge (no contract) program vs. traditional (contract) program. There was no question my parents had that she did not answer. She even answered the same questions in different ways so that they could wrap their heads around the concept or idea! Amazing! BRITTNEY had meaningful suggestions that were customer-centered and not centered around what she thought was best for the customer. My family and I left more than satisfied. She did all this in a way that wasn't focused on leaving her good survey results or whatever. BRITTNEY's hospitality and care likely comes from her great South Carolinian background. We were even escorted to the door. I assume the people who have left poor reviews for this location have not asked specifically for BRITTNEY or did not happen to get her. If you are heading to this location, definitely ask specifically for BRITTNEY. She's the BEST! I wish she sold cars, computers, and homes, too!!! read more

Absolute worst experience I've had buying new phones ever. Got there at 3:30 PM and didn't end up leaving til 7:00. 3.5 hours of my life that I will never get back. The workers were friendly and nice, but did not know how to do their jobs. Eventually I had to leave because I had a son who got home from school and needed me home. The employees asked me to come back to pick the phones up at a later time, so that's what I had to do. I understand this is not a quick process, but last time I bought new phones at Sprint, it took less than an hour. The man helping us sat on hold with Verizon corporate for at least 45 minutes. That's a problem beyond something he can fix. That's something corporate needs to be better at. With the phones, I was buying a few screen protectors and phone cases. After my 3.5 hour wait and being told multiple times that it was almost done, I expected to receive some of these items for free or on discount. I was appalled when the employee rang up these items full price. Regardless, I don't recommend using this location under any circumstances. read more

I asked to upgrade and a sales representative asked me if I was sure I wanted this particular phone and specifically told me I shouldn't get it without even asking me qualifying questions to determine what I even use my phone for. Her reasoning, "You can't get on Instagram." I was disgusted. I don't even use Instagram. No dialogue during the sale, no understanding their customers needs. Nothing. Just a bunch of young adults who need a job but couldn't sell if their lives depended on it. Needless to say, I didn't purchase the phone at this store, I ordered online from customer service. The store had a super helpful staff- Monique helped me switch my network to Verizon, buy a new phone, and get it started within an hour! This has to be the most seamless experience I've had with any phone network in my 25 years on this planet. Big big deal. Verizon- Give Monique a raise! The wait was quite long for a Saturday morning, but thank goodness the service was fantastic. We worked with Ebony to activate a hotspot and she was so sweet! She explained the steps as she was activating our device and chatted with us. She patiently waited as we tested the device and made sure it worked- didn't try to rush us at all (this probably explains the long wait). I removed one star for the long wait, the store was understaffed. The store was surprisingly stylish- more like an electronics showroom than a phone store. read more

If you came to get assistance with your current phone (for example, you switched the phones and not all the information got transferred between the phones and you need assistance), you are a very low priority for the people who work there. I reviewed this store on their website and receive a response: I purchased 4 phones here. One was BOGO and I was supposed to get credit on my Verizon bill every month. Never happened. I called Verizon Wireless and they said I had to go back to the store to sort it out. The last 3 times I was in this store trying to sort out details of my purchase, I was there 3 to 4 hours. I have lost so much money and time to this store. I'd like to never go back - but if I want my money back I have to go. The email reply I received was this: "We're sorry to hear about this miscommunication regarding the BOGO promotion, Holly. We always want to be clear about our promotions so that there are no surprises on your bill. Thank you for your feedback, as we are always looking to improve our customer service. We hope you'll give us another chance to win your trust back in the future." And my reply to that: "Thanks, but there was no "miscommunication" it was a blatant fraudulent act upon the part of the sales person. What the response should say is, "Mrs. Bryman, we will give you the money we owe you. Please call our number and we can take care of your problem right over the phone. We hope that this will win your trust back in the future." Otherwise, Verizon Store at Perimeter Center is just a straight up scam shop. Thieves. read more
