The crew enjoying the weather, food and ambiance

The food is good. The reason for a "4" after being seated we waited 15 minutes to be waited on, plus even though the food here is good, it doesn't hold a candle to the North End of Boston. The atmosphere was great, sitting outside watching all the tourists walk by.

We visited Vergina for drinks and had a wonderful time. They have a huge variation of cocktails, which we absolutely loved--there is something for everyone! Even on a Tuesday before Christmas, the restaurant was very busy, but it only added to the great atmosphere. It's a lively, festive spot that's perfect for a night out.

Mid to the max. Overpriced for mid food that did not blow me out of the water. Honestly Bolognese was very overcooked and has no flavor despite its extremely detailed menu details. I liked the vibes but it was SO LOUD on a Saturday night cause they had live music which was very nice, but holy damn I could not even hear my own thoughts. Server was fine but I did feel extremely rushed and for some reason they gave someone in my party and iPad with pictures of their extravagant dishes with exposure on high. This makes me not want your tomahawk steak even more. Place was a mess aesthetic wise, and it was modern in some place (bathroom, iPad) and the regularly smegular in the decor. The most non cohesive place ever. Plates were being run around everywhere and forks were probably being thrown over my head. I wish the menu had more and less basic stuff, can a girl just get some pesto? THEY HAD GLUTEN FREE PASTA WHY NOT ON MENU?

It was our first time in Naples. Our plan was to go somewhere else for dinner but we stumbled upon this. The hostess told us almost everything was half off before 5:00 so we took advantage. The food was very good, and the price was unbelievable for what we ordered. Take advantage of the happy hour deal because it truly is a bargain for such a pretty setting.

Dined on the patio during happy hour, enjoying the half priced menu. I ordered the lasagna for my entree and also tried the bread and the calamari appetizer. The food tasted pretty good and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was okay but a little slow.

My friend and I made reservations for dinner at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. We got seated out front at a 2 person table but just a warning the tables are pretty close to other tables so def not getting much privacy lol. We felt kinda rushed in the beginning with getting our drinks and food order so we were concerned the waiter was going to rush us with the check. Thankfully that didn't happen. For drinks, I did the Barbie special drink and my friend did a cucumber mojito mocktail. They were both delicious! For entrees, I did the Nonni's spaghetti & meatballs and my friend did the chicken parmesan. Both were delicious as well, but my friend said her chicken parmesan was lukewarm like it had been sitting out maybe for a bit. My pasta was the opposite, very hot had to wait for it to cool down. The table bread and olive oil was also so good, the bread tasted fresh and was warm. It was about $40 per person with food & drinks combined. It was hot but thankfully they have fans outside to keep you cool. Apparently at night they turn into a bar/dancing club which seems cool.

I went here and sat at the bar which was almost full at approx 4:30. I was fortunate to get a seat, and even more so when Jessica took care of me. What a pleasant soul after a rough day! My entree was Branzino with spinach which was perfectly cooked and VERY delicious! When I was given my bill, I saw that it was priced 50% due to me ordering during Happy Hour (3:30-5:00) Ambience was nice around the bar, but I did notice the tables appeared to be substandard in relation to the rest of the restaurant's ambiance.... almost look like fold up card tables?

ZERO STARS Edit: DO NOT GO HERE. The original review was made before they screwed us. If you are not familiar with this restaurant there is a thing called happy hour. On the website the hours are 3-5. We were charged full price and when asked about it the waiter got extremely defensive. We were extremely disappointed with the reaction they made. They refused to give us half price when it says on their website the times. DO NOT go to this place. The food is overpriced and the service doesn't care about you. The food was great and if you come at the right time it is half off. Because of this the food is more than worth the price. If it would've been full price the rating would have been lower. The place has a great ambiance overall very expensive but a nice place.

Food was all very good, but nothing exceptional. Their happy hour includes the entire menu- no limitations- but designates "where" you can eat. A very good deal if you're comfortable in the bar or outside on the patio. They make no accommodations for people with disabilities, which is sad and would make me not return. The bar is quite loud and rowdy- which I know just from passing thru- and it's more like a night club with pounding music. Our server was artificially sweet, but attentive none the less. The 4 star rating is for the food- to be fair- but for the whole package of a dining experience, I would have rated it much lower. I was sadly disappointed.

In town for my birthday. Went for dinner tonight for first time. 1) My recommendation; Do NOT let them seat you with server Tasha H! She was pushing everything she could to up-charge you. Her attitude was sour when you declined. But offer you complimentary bread, she never bothered to do that! I had to ask a runner. I've never paid for bottled water in a restaurant. Yet after I ordered plain water, she brought a huge bottle of Panna! When I said I would not pay for it at $9.50 and did not drink a sip of it. She argued and argued with me. It was so unprofessional! She should not have interactions with customers. I continued to ask for a Manager over her arguing. She came back and had removed the charge. When I gave her no tip, she said how dare you treat a server that way! Clearly does not understand "tips" are earned for good service! I said I was a server, you do not treat customers the way you have! She then told me to "Leave"! Management you have a problem! 3) I ordered Radiatore Bolognese. It was delicious! I would eat it again. 4) The bread was really fresh and good. Nice crunchy crust.

This is my second time coming to Vergina in Naples. I absolutely love their food and happy hour menu is next level! We had the mussels in white wine sauce, wings, meatballs, a salad and a key lime martinis. We sat at the bar and received great service and enjoyed the music and people watching. We will be back next time we're in town!

Burrata and prosciutto appetizer.

I went here expecting great things but was disappointed. We sat inside and it was so loud we couldn't hear each other across the table. The food was ok to good. The burrata and prosciutto appetizer was very good. I had carbonara which was quite good, my friend had bolognese which was ok and my other friend had spaghetti, which was average. The service was terrible. Our server, Milos, took a long time to come to the table, didn't come back to check on things, had to be flagged down for refills and didn't ask if any one else wanted a refill before running off with one person's glass. Very disappointing. On a better note, the table across from us had a birthday and they brought out a mannequin head with a cotton candy turban and a sparkler - looked like fun.

Bread service, Salt grinder from the grocery store, no pepper on any table, you have to flag down a server and ask. No herbs. Plain
Justin R.

The start was very pushy on the specials with an iPAD and about 20 specials. No pricing, you had to ask, many were about $90. Server was just not very engaged. We ordered a bottle of wine but no overpriced specials. I wouldn't go back. Lasagna was the saving grace.

From the moment we sat down, the energy and ambiance set the tone -- lively, authentic, and exactly what you hope for in a great Italian spot. The food was exceptional across the board. The chicken parm was perfectly prepared, the carbonara rich and authentic, and the chicken piccata balanced beautifully with bright, fresh flavors. Every dish felt like it was made with real care and tradition. Dessert took it to another level -- the gelato was fantastic, but the real highlight was the tableside homemade tiramisu, which was both impressive and absolutely delicious. A perfect ending... until the espresso martinis arrived. Smooth, well-crafted, and honestly some of the best we've had. What truly made the night unforgettable was the service. Leonardo -- straight from Amalfi, Italy -- delivered one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, he elevated the entire evening. Great food, incredible service, and an outstanding vibe. We'll absolutely be back.

He asked what he could do to make it better, and I didn't really know what was wrong with it. Maybe there wasn't any simple syrup? We were fortunately seated outside, as it was very noisy inside. We had a great table and our server came with our menu and the wine list as well as some crusty bread. There are numerous salads, appetizers, entrees, and even pizza on the menu. I started with a Caesar salad, which I thought was super pricey, but was very good. I was able to enjoy it before I ordered my entree. I chose the gnocchi and a glass of wine. The gnocchi came out in minutes and was some of the lightest, fluffiest gnocchi I have had since New York City ages ago. Good choice. The server wasn't rushing us, but let us enjoy our meal at our pace, which was refreshing. Overall, nice experience.

First, was an attractive plate of lightly breaded hot and tender Calamari with a lemon parsley aioli. A top 10 presentation of this popular dish. The pan fried snapper sandwich was fresh and crisp with a vegetable giarderian topping. It's the little things that Campiellos does so well. Each sandwich came with marinated pickles and carrots along with hot feather-light potato chips with garlic and wonderful crispy parsley. The chips alone are worth the trip. Our second sandwich was the lobster salad which is described as spicy fra diavolo, but was more a lemon and chive taste. Delicious tender lobster and those sautéed chips with parsley are off the hook. We usually have the pasta for lunch and it is excellent. It's nice to see what a great job they do with sandwiches.

We shared bruschetta and burrata appetizers- fresh and flavorful. We ordered seared ahi tuna salad, margarita pizza and snapper as our main dishes and everyone was very impressed with their dishes. Thank you so much to the entire Campiello team for making my birthday extra special and that complimentary desert was a sweet touch. We will definitely be back because I'm determined to get a table on that patio next time.
