    Italian sub
    Terri G.

My husband had been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile. After a recent lunch, we were pleased with the food and service. The restaurant is new and clean with a pleasant atmosphere. They offer a good variety of appetizers, salads, pasta and subs. Hubs had the Italian sub with pasta fagioli soup and he thought the food was good. He especially liked the way the soup was made. I went with the Chicken Parmigiana sub which had a good flavor. The sub was supposed to come with a side of pasta salad, which the server forgot to bring, but not a deal breaker for lunch. As a bonus, she did bring out garlic knots for us to try. This restaurant is in a decent location, if a little hidden and they have lots of variety on the menu. If you like Italian food, it's recommended to stop by.

Quick update. Had their mussels and clams last night but the mussels were not fresh at all. Three of the shells hadn't opened but the kitchen cracked them open. Bad move. If mussels don't open then they shouldn't be served! Taste was really off.

We visited two meatballs in the kitchen this evening for dinner and had a fantastic time! The restaurant was definitely buzzing. The entire bar was full around 7 PM and almost every table in the restaurant was full. We started off with a round of cocktails. I got a Tito's Cosmo and my fiancé got an espresso martini. Both drinks were very good and made well. I would say the espresso martini is a heavy espresso flavor, which is great, but if you like a creamier martini, I would add Bailey's. For appetizers, we got an order of the bruschetta with prosciutto. They also brought out amazing garlic rolls that were delicious! We unfortunately did not like the bruschetta. There was nothing necessarily wrong with the bruschetta it just was not our style. For entrées I got the chicken franchese and substituted the vegetables and potato for pasta and my Fiancé got the pepperoni pizza with mozzarella. My chicken franchise was very good and so was the pizza. I would just suggest getting the pizza cooked well done if you like a crispy crust.I did love that the pizza's overall vibe was thick and fluffy. Our waitress was very nice and checked in on us frequently so overall, I would say the service was excellent, the vibes were cozy and the menu was large!! We are definitely going to return soon!!

Not recommended. Food quality is not imaginative. The meatballs are good. Other Italian restaurants in the area are much better

From the moment we sat down, the energy and ambiance set the tone -- lively, authentic, and exactly what you hope for in a great Italian spot. The food was exceptional across the board. The chicken parm was perfectly prepared, the carbonara rich and authentic, and the chicken piccata balanced beautifully with bright, fresh flavors. Every dish felt like it was made with real care and tradition. Dessert took it to another level -- the gelato was fantastic, but the real highlight was the tableside homemade tiramisu, which was both impressive and absolutely delicious. A perfect ending... until the espresso martinis arrived. Smooth, well-crafted, and honestly some of the best we've had. What truly made the night unforgettable was the service. Leonardo -- straight from Amalfi, Italy -- delivered one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, he elevated the entire evening. Great food, incredible service, and an outstanding vibe. We'll absolutely be back.

I must have made a face when I took my first sip as the bartender asked me if I liked it. Actually I didn't, It might be the worst I have ever drank, and I order them all the time. He asked what he could do to make it better, and I didn't really know what was wrong with it. Maybe there wasn't any simple syrup? We were fortunately seated outside, as it was very noisy inside. We had a great table and our server came with our menu and the wine list as well as some crusty bread. There are numerous salads, appetizers, entrees, and even pizza on the menu. I started with a Caesar salad, which I thought was super pricey, but was very good. I was able to enjoy it before I ordered my entree. I chose the gnocchi and a glass of wine. The gnocchi came out in minutes and was some of the lightest, fluffiest gnocchi I have had since New York City ages ago. Good choice. The server wasn't rushing us, but let us enjoy our meal at our pace, which was refreshing. Overall, nice experience.

First, was an attractive plate of lightly breaded hot and tender Calamari with a lemon parsley aioli. A top 10 presentation of this popular dish. The pan fried snapper sandwich was fresh and crisp with a vegetable giarderian topping. It's the little things that Campiellos does so well. Each sandwich came with marinated pickles and carrots along with hot feather-light potato chips with garlic and wonderful crispy parsley. The chips alone are worth the trip. Our second sandwich was the lobster salad which is described as spicy fra diavolo, but was more a lemon and chive taste. Delicious tender lobster and those sautéed chips with parsley are off the hook. We usually have the pasta for lunch and it is excellent. It's nice to see what a great job they do with sandwiches.

Our waiter and her helper went above and beyond to make me feel special on my birthday and paid a ton of attention to our nine year old daughter and truly made her feel valued and special too by offering great suggestions for a mocktail and menu options. I would give that service 6 stars if I could! The drinks and the food were top notch. We had the Columba and Negroni and both were perfect. We shared bruschetta and burrata appetizers- fresh and flavorful. We ordered seared ahi tuna salad, margarita pizza and snapper as our main dishes and everyone was very impressed with their dishes. Thank you so much to the entire Campiello team for making my birthday extra special and that complimentary desert was a sweet touch. We will definitely be back because I'm determined to get a table on that patio next time.

Sat inside people and car watching. Cars were by far more eye-catching than women. Ferraris, Lambo, Aston Martin, Bugatti, real lookers. Friend showed up on time. Hot bread arrived. Plenty of good olive oil on table. He had tri-colored salad and I had seafood salad. Not a trace left of either although mine could have had less creamy lemon vinaigrette dressing. Word to wise, perhaps ask for it on the side. He had veal shank with risotto. Me? I had the corvina stew. Ask for a spoon, it's that good. Ordered sautéed spinach and roasted potatoes with herbs. Only thing left was a few grains of risotto and 7 small pieces of the potatoes. The shank was arguably the biggest portion I've seen. Since it was my birthday we were comped a dessert, double espresso and a cappuccino. Plus the dessert had a lit candle along with a table side a cappella Happy Birthday. I…read moreshould've been leery to begin with, as we were able to get a table for six with less than 24 hours notice, at 6 PM. This does not happen during spring break in Naples at a good restaurant. Let's start with the atmosphere: this is not a fine dining establishment, especially when you compare it to everything else you get to experience on 5th. Some of the most upscale and beautifully adorned restaurants and businesses call this street home, but we chose Pescheria for a moderately priced meal, which is not what we ended up having. It's not a terrible atmosphere, but it's certainly casual. My whole group was very disappointed to learn that this restaurant only serves beer and wine, which further entrenched our belief that we were at a casual, affordable establishment; frankly this should've been the red flag to go elsewhere, but it's pretty slim-pickins around the dinner hour last minute in Naples, so we stuck it out based on the great reviews. The bread service is good, but don't bother asking for butter, they said they have some but never brought it to the table. They do have a great wine list, especially if you like Italian reds; definitely the best part of the experience. Our group ordered two of the Dover Sole special, a pasta dish, and a grilled branzino. I'm partial to both of the fish; some of the branzinos and soles I've had have been memorable and delicious, so I do tend to seek them out. If you also love branzino, you probably know that $50 is on the high end of what you would generally pay, and Dover sole might get you up to 60. If you eat in restaurants, you also know that it's common practice for servers to tell you the prices before you order, so you don't have to embarrass yourself by asking for the price of a dish you want and then denying yourself because of the price. Here, they don't tell you the price, and if you're an idiot like me you'll just go ahead and order it assuming it's reasonable like the rest of the menu. My branzino was $70, and the Dover sole was $75, and frankly I wouldn't have ordered them at all, let alone paid a fortune for them after I tasted each of these dishes. Branzino was cooked nicely and deboned well at the table, but that's pretty much it. The fish had zero flavor whatsoever. The Dover sole had flavor, but it wasn't a good flavor. It was fishy. And when we told the staff that the fish was fishy-tasting, they argued with us incessantly even though we told them we're not asking for a discount, we are simply letting them know so they pay attention for the next diners, but that wasn't good enough for them. They continued to argue with us before we finally told them to walk away and leave us alone. So in hindsight, there isn't a thing that would bring me back, not the atmosphere, frankly not even the wine list (it's Naples, throw a rock in any direction and you'll break a great bottle of wine); not the service, not the price, not the cocktails, not the food. And if none of those check the boxes, somebody please tell me what the appeal is, because I'm not seeing it. Don't worry though, if you don't like your meal you'll be gaslit into thinking it's fabulous because the server can show you pictures of himself fishing (I'm not making this up).
