We started with the meatballs in red sauce and really enjoyed them. Simple, flavorful, and a great appetizer to share. One thing I was not expecting was being charged for the bread. It was fresh and good, but it is not something I usually associate with Italian restaurants. For the main course, we had the cacio e pepe. The flavor was there, but the sauce was a bit too liquid for my preference. It is a difficult dish to get right, and while it was good, I think it could have been a little better. The tiramisu was absolutely the highlight. The balance between the cream and the ladyfingers was spot on, and it ended up being my favorite thing we ordered. Overall, good location, nice atmosphere, and solid food. The tiramisu is the one thing I would absolutely come back for.

Just want to give a little shout out to Amore as they are much to humble to talk about themselves. On Thursday, the day after Hurricane Ian as soon as Stefano and Suzana found out that they had electricity at the restaurant instead of reopening for business they instead invited all of their employees, family and friends to come over and spend the day partaking of their Food, AC, TV and Encouragement at No Charge. I know people also came in uninvited and they too were welcomed, as well as some of our hardworking First Responders. Amore reopened to the public on Friday and when we drove by it was packed. We ate there ourselves on Saturday and watched as Stefano and Suzana greeted people and took the time to listen to all the devastating stories people had to tell. As we were leaving after having a wonderful meal we walked by a table and heard Stefano tell at least one family with a devastating story that their meal was on the house. Thanks Amore for being a such wonderful restaurant with outstanding, attentive staff and for being so kind and generous to our community on a daily basis. read more

We would recommend this place to anyone....a fairly extensive menu that can fit into most any budget. The owner greets you as if you are family each and every time and shows tremendous interest in your experience, regardless of whether you have been there one time or ten times. Every time he came to the table you could smell him first. Also, because the restaurant walls are white, the greyed shirts are even more obvious. I looked around and the two female servers near our table had on equally grey shirts. Time to buy your team new shirts and talk about regular cleaning with Oxi products or a little bleach. The question you have to ask yourself as a diner: if they don't care about the cleanliness of their customer facing servers, what does the back of the house look like? Please address this promptly! Your restaurant is too good to overlook this.
