We have been to Casa Cotzelli many times and always return because the food is wonderful. The owner and wait staff are all super. We never leave hungry! I would highly recommend this place. I had the pasta that they tossed in a Parmesan wheel mixed with a little red sauce and sausage. Yum! My husband had the white truffle sauce and sausage on pasta. It was unbelievably good. Great Caesar salad and the hummus was delicious. They have a great piano player and violinist guy who serenades you through dinner. You need to try it if you have never been to this very charming place. They are opening up another one in East Naples too.

The atmosphere is cozy with warm lighting, making it a good spot to relax and enjoy a meal. There is also a bar area with TVs, which felt a little different from the typical Italian vibe, but it did not take away from the experience. Service was friendly, but it was a busy Saturday night and you could definitely feel it. Everything moved a bit slower, and we had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes for the check at the end because our server was not around. We started with the meatballs in red sauce and really enjoyed them. Simple, flavorful, and a great appetizer to share. One thing I was not expecting was being charged for the bread. It was fresh and good, but it is not something I usually associate with Italian restaurants. For the main course, we had the cacio e pepe. The flavor was there, but the sauce was a bit too liquid for my preference. It is a difficult dish to get right, and while it was good, I think it could have been a little better. The tiramisu was absolutely the highlight. The balance between the cream and the ladyfingers was spot on, and it ended up being my favorite thing we ordered. Overall, good location, nice atmosphere, and solid food. The tiramisu is the one thing I would absolutely come back for.

From the moment we sat down, the energy and ambiance set the tone -- lively, authentic, and exactly what you hope for in a great Italian spot. The food was exceptional across the board. The chicken parm was perfectly prepared, the carbonara rich and authentic, and the chicken piccata balanced beautifully with bright, fresh flavors. Every dish felt like it was made with real care and tradition. Dessert took it to another level -- the gelato was fantastic, but the real highlight was the tableside homemade tiramisu, which was both impressive and absolutely delicious. A perfect ending... until the espresso martinis arrived. Smooth, well-crafted, and honestly some of the best we've had. What truly made the night unforgettable was the service. Leonardo -- straight from Amalfi, Italy -- delivered one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, he elevated the entire evening. Great food, incredible service, and an outstanding vibe. We'll absolutely be back.

They also have a Happy Hour menu from 3:00 - 4:45pm, with drinks at $7, beers at $6, and 50% off the Lunch/Hour menu. Ashley, our waitress, was very welcoming, professional, friendly, and helpful. The dishes were well-portioned and delicious! The ambiance was nice, and the room temperature was comfortable. There's outdoor seating, but with FL sun, my dog and I couldn't sit outside; it might be better on cloudy days or cooler months. The food is fantastic, with vegan and gluten-free options for people like me. As a complimentary starter, they serve fresh-baked bread with butter and kalamata olives in a mild infused EVOO oil sauce--yum! For starters, we ordered the bushettas, which were deli-style, according to hubby. I had to pass because the bread wasn't gluten-free (an area for improvement). We both ordered the grilled octopus, which was incredibly delicious and the portion size was good. Their beer selection is okay, but the wine list is impressive. The best part of the desserts was their deconstructed tiramisu! You gotta try it! They have their own bakery, and showing your receipt gets you 10% off their fresh baked goods. In other words 10/10, I will come back!

The veal was paper-thin, incredibly tender, and still on the bone. It wasn't overly breaded at all, and it came with a side of pasta that made the portion even more impressive. Beyond the food, the restaurant feels genuinely Italian--like being transported straight back to Florence. It's small, intimate, and cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating options that make the experience even more special. Service here has and never will be a disappointment, you always feel like family! On a previous visit, I tried the lobster mac and cheese, and it was equally delightful and incredibly flavorful. Definitely not for those with claustrophobia!! We were initially told they don't take reservations, yet several parties arrived claiming they had reservations. Meanwhile, regulars appeared to receive preferential treatment and were seated ahead of others. As for the food, the fried calamari, shrimp, scallops, and smelt were the highlights. All crispy, fresh, and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce tasted watered down, and while both pasta dishes were cooked perfectly al dente, they lacked seasoning and flavor overall.
