The owners of this restaurant are just a delight- and so authentic! We had zucchini blossoms which were a unique special. I had the Italian wedding soup, which was very rich with a hint of lemon. I had the chicken parm which was very thin and large. Flavor was very good. The side of spaghetti, I ordered with ariabatta sauce and it was definite spicy. Something to note, they only have beer and wine, no cocktails. Another in my party had gluten free pasta with bolognese and said it was the best she's had other than making it at home. read more

Delicious and clean tasting food with exceptional service. Some of the items are on the expensive side, but the taste is amazing, and the owners a delight. My only complaint is their tip suggestions are not accurate. The universal standard is tips are supposed to be calculated pre-tax, but their system (you pay on a tablet device) is calculating the tip percentage on top of tax. This is not appropriate, and results in customers who already think they are tipping generously are actually spending even more money based on this miscalculation. Decent service and owners were nice but the food was not good at all. - my entree was a $13 Caesar salad with chicken (a $12 additional charge!). It was about 1 cup of ICEBERG lettuce (not romaine as the menu said and a typical Caesar salad should have). There were 4 store-bought croutons but the chicken was no where to be seen. After digging around I found about 5 tiny pieces (about 1 inch square by 1/4 inch thick). I called the waitress over and said it wasn't acceptable to have this tiny amount of chicken for a $12 up charge. She took the plate away and came back having added about three more pieces. When I went to eat it it was like dried out shoe leather. I asked for dressing on the side, but that wasn't delivered without waiting and asking again. I only wish I had taken a picture of this tiny salad with almost no chicken and the wrong lettuce. I've had way better salads at Publix for about $6 dollars not $25 dollars! - my husband ordered the fettuccine bolognese. The plate that was delivered was about 15 inches around with a tiny little hole in the middle that held about one cup of pasta. The pasta looked like it had tomato juice poured over it. The sauce was so thin and there was not any meat to be seen. Again we called the waitress over and mentioned that there was no meat in this $26 tiny portion. Away it went and back it came with a big blob of tomato sauce put on top. There was a very tiny amount of ground meat in it. The owner came over and said they use "finely ground meat". I only wish I'd taken pictures of these 2 failures. Never again! read more

Food was very good. I had mussel linguini and my friend had a wide pasta with red sauce (sorry I don't remember the names). However, what we witnessed while waiting for a carry out left a bad taste in our mouths. We had no idea reservations were required. We were excited to try this place and my friend and I both love Italian. We got dressed up, went in and were told we had to have reservations and there was nothing available for the rest of the night. We were very bummed, but because we were already excited for the food, we ordered it to go and waited for them to cook it. As we were waiting, we ordered a glass of wine and stood outside to enjoy the weather a bit. A man and his girlfriend came in and were told they had to have reservations. The man threw a bit of a fit, acted like a spoiled brat and low and behold, they sat them. We were kind and understanding and still patronized the restaurant because we were excited to try (as it was our mistake to not check about the reservations) and we were told no, but the spoiled brat got his way. Don't know why they are always packed. Service was subpar, ordered linguine with clams. Only got clam shells with no clams in them and they were the size of a nickel. They said they were medium clams. Never saw clams that small in my life. My brother got veal parmigiana that came cold and the side of pasta was also cold and was buried in Parmesan cheese, couldn't eat it as he hates that cheese, usually they come to the table and ask if you want cheese but not here. Waited 20 minutes for the check and the she never came back , so I had to go inside the restaurant to pay. Overpriced for what you get and portions very small Would never go back. read more

Not good. Do not waste your time. Horrible service, food was subpar, and certainly not worth the price. Arrived and waited almost 20 minutes for anyone to come to our table. Had to ask for ice, had to ask for bread, had to ask for oil, had to ask for cheese. We finally received 4 tiny pieces of bread. We asked for more multiple times and they never brought it so we gave up. The portions were small for the price. We had the prosciutto and melon "special" and it was almost $30 for 3 slices of dry melon. The linguine and clams included about 10 pieces of dry pasta and a couple pieces of clam so small that you couldn't even pick them up with a fork. Plates are decorated weirdly with pieces of dried carrots. They had one other person working with the owners but she didn't do anything. They hardly came to the table to check on us and even paying the bill took forever. You're pretty much sitting in a parking lot next to a movie theatre and ice cream shop with lots of yelling kids. We live here for most of the season and have tried many, many restaurants in Naples, this one we will never be back to. If you want a nice Italian place, go pretty much anywhere else. read more

Cozy family run business (father, mother, daughter & son) that makes you feel like you were invited into someone's home. Enrico is no stranger to superior food and authenticity. Everything is made from scratch. After many years in the corporate arena of hospitality around the world this incredible man chose a different path. And all of us in the greater Naples area will be privileged to be his guests for dinner with the family, his family. Nice looking Italian restaurant, both inside and outside. I like the size, where you can sit and talk without it being very noisy. Had high hopes for a nice delicious experience. Unfortunately, it did not deliver on that. Food was mediocre at best, with prices high. "Special" wedge salad with bacon, homemade bluecheese dressing and grape tomatoes lacked sufficient bluecheese dressing (btw, nothing is really special about a wedge salad). But the expensive ($45) special veal parmigiana was inedible. Came out cold, and the cheese wasn't even melted on the veal. Side of ziti was just OK (but I do think veal parm should be served with spaghetti). On a positive note, wife's branzino was very good. Would be reluctant to return to this restaurant. read more

I don't get the hype about this restaurant. Yes, the couple that own it are nice and the food is fresh. But you have to ask for bread, and then ask for oil, and then ask for cheese. I had the Fettuccine Bolognese, which is of course a meat sauce, and I couldn't even find the meat. There were a couple of small crumbles of ground beef that I could hardly find. And that passes as a meat sauce? And they only have three dessert options, and the one I wanted wasn't available. Oh, and for some reason they have no option for booking a reservation on their website, so you have to call the restaurant and hope someone picks up. There is much better Italian in Naples than this place, that's for sure read more
