I'd honestly give this place four for both food and location! It's situated right on the boardwalk with a beautiful view. All our food was delicious and portions were pretty big. I did feel the price was decently high but we were there during spring break. It was the service that killed this place. We waited like 30 minutes for our sister to return no one could find him. He just disappeared so we were left waiting. Also the bathrooms needed some cleaning. But the ambiance and food were great! read more

WORST $100 for 2 12' pizzas and a pasta Host was smoking a cigar, one thing is to have to deal with that from another guest but coming a "high end place" themself.. very unfortunate. We had a pregnant person and 2 babies at our table. Our table ordered 2 pizzas and they came out AFTER 1 person ordering the pasta FINISHED. & there was 2 whole different parties of 2 next to us that ordered and finished before we got our pizza. I understand busy days happen but when I ask the person who took our order who was possibly the manager, no apologies.. just EXCUSES. "Pizza is different than the kitchen" "the table next to you ordered different things" blah blah blah... all I take from that is poor management in the back. I honestly wanted to give them a one star but gave them a 2 star because at least on staff member was nice. The food tasted like it came out of a can. The restaurant was messy and no one checked on us to see if we needed anything. The food portion is really small. It came with a tiny piece of bread. What a disappointment this place is. Went for Brunch over the long weekend. The place has pretty decor in white kinda vintage look. I was a bit distracted because I saw servers right behind what looked like chatting . I was hungry so it took a bit to come to our table to get are food and drink orders. The food was tasty and they had two hours of unlimited mimosa for $30. Huge shout out to Hector who recommended this place. I've passed by this restaurant dozens of times and we finally had the opportunity to experience it. The menu leaned more towards Italian cousins.... Obviously it's called Venice , Duhhhhh. He he he We really enjoyed the ambience here. Phenomenal e sitting out front on the Hollywood beach strip. The drinks are delicious, the tuna tar tar was fresh and very satisfying. The ambiance is so wonderful being right on the beach under the stars! Very magical! The food had extremely tasteful selections, yet everything we tried was PARTIALLY phenomenal. I tried the tuna tartar and it was exceptional, the only thing that dragged this dish down was it being served with tortilla chips. That's not a good combination. Something that is thinner and more airy would have elevated this dish. We also tried the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it was so creamy and flavorful! The only downside was that the chicken was soooooooo dry. I was disappointed by how much I payed for dry as chicken. Maybe you should use chicken thigh instead, it tends to stay more moist. The service was terrible. I had to ask another server to fill up our water and wasn't inclined to tip at all. With so many choices on the Hollywood Broadwalk, this would most likely be my very last choice and only if I was starving. The first thing is that most of the wait staff did not speak or understand English. As I do not eat meat, I ordered an Impossible burger. My friends ordered mussels and an Eggplant Parmigiana sandwich. All along the staff said that my meal was coming. As my friend's orders were served, (and the mussels came out cold) one after the another and they began eating, I was told that they didn't have Impossible Burgers. Had we known this at the start we would have left. There was NOTHING else other than lettuce that I could eat. I chose not to order anything. Finally an English speaking person came over and said there was nothing else they could serve me. They offered us a 50% discount on what was served. Sadly to add insult to injury, my friend who was visiting got sick all day from the mussels, which ruined our day. The eggplant was ok. Will return. Fresh flowers. We pass by it every time we're on the boardwalk - next to our hotel, and finally find time to come - breakfast. Their white furniture looks more Greek than Italian. Regardless, it's inviting. They're on the boardwalk, is busier than their next door neighbor. As we're waiting for our food, (which turns out to be 30 minutes) watching people and pigeons passing by, I notice a tiny neatly folded paper, perhaps sugar bag or a receipt in the creamer tray. To write about this is anal, Chinese has an idiom for it: picking bone among eggs - nitpicks. When we finally get our food, toasts, sausage links, bacon and eggs are cold, so is my home fries, large and small pieces and brown, which I like. My husband's fries, however is super hot and tidy. Our next table came much late but gets their eggs fries right after us. Ok, let me be Sherlock Holmes here: after they cooked our eggs, bacon, links and done toasts, the last bit of home fries is only enough for my plate. So they make more - that's why all foods are cold, except the tidy fries ...how is my detective skill? read more

I decided to check this place out while on vacation since it was just down the street from my hotel. The location is great, with nice views of the boardwalk and beach--no complaints there. The ambiance inside the restaurant was pretty nice too, creating a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Originally, I was seated at a larger table in the middle, but I was able to move to a smaller table still facing the view, which was a plus. I wanted to order the Lomini and eggs, but after about 10 minutes, the server came back to inform me it wasn't available, so I had to pick something else. I ended up ordering the Breakfast Calzone instead. It wasn't bad, but it took 30 minutes to arrive. The calzone could have used a bit more cooking time as the outside wasn't as crispy as I would have liked, causing it to fall apart and be a bit messy. Additionally, my knife handle was broken, which I mentioned to the girl at the front, who replaced it with another one. My server, who was busy running around, seemed overwhelmed, and it looked like they may have been short-staffed, which could have caused the delays. He mentioned that it was crazy there today and yesterday. The drinks came out quicker, around 10 minutes. I had a chocolate espresso martini and a Venice Mule. Both were good, but nothing extraordinary. They were two-for-one with brunch, so that was a nice deal. All in all, for what I paid, which was about $60 before tip, it didn't feel entirely worth it, especially considering a 20% gratuity was automatically included in the total. I also had my receipt messaged to me, and my server's name wasn't on it. Oddly, it also said the guest count for the table was 2, even though I was there by myself. Great little place, right in the middle of Hollywood beach and the boardwalk. The waitress was great. She had a great personality, provided awesome service, paid attention to detail, and ever after we left, and forgot a pair of sunglasses and she was gratuitous awesome enough to save them for us. The food was also really good. We ordered two pizzas and the Salmon Eggs Benedict. Both were delicious! We also ordered a bottomless mimosa which was just two dollars more that the price of a glass of wine! After another 20 our server came to ask if we were ready to pay out. When we told him my pizza never came he did apologize and take it off our ticket. The view itself 5 stars! We stopped for brunch in Hollywood Beach before catching the Dolphins game, and were a little bit on the hungry side. Located near the famous resort and outside seating , we figured it was a good spot for the afternoon. I ordered their iced tea to start and she a juice, both came quickly and were refreshing. And then we waited... After about more than 15 minutes of waiting, without bread or anything, our waiter comes to confirm our order. We stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. After reading the reviews I was a bit nervous but didn't want to be rude and leave because we were already seated. We had a waitress name, Alejandra, who was very friendly. My daughter had dulce de Leche French toast with fruit on the side, I had scrambled eggs and bacon with toast and fries, my husband got the lomini and eggs. I have to say that the presentation of the food was really nice. My husband got a whole avocado underneath his steak and eggs, which was interesting, but he loved it. I was expecting more of traditional home, fries, or hashbrowns, but they were literally french fries, not a bad thing, but just different for me. My daughter did not like her French toast, it was a bit dry and not cooked through when she cut into it (toast was brown on the outside, but the inside was literally uncooked and white - not really sure how to explain this). The music was a bit loud to be so early in the day, but it was nice to be on the beach. Be aware that they do add an automatic 20% service charge to your bill. If you go by the prices on the menu you may have a little sticker shock. Even for boardwalk prices. The night we were there they had some amazing food and drinks deals. So with that in mind the end result brought everything in line. Service was excellent in fact they were amazing. Above and beyond to say the least. Food was above average. For and overall positive experience. If they have the same specials when you go by I recommend this place.( the specials were 25% off the entire menu) plus your first bar drink is on the house. This restaurant was burnt down in the broadwalk fire a few years ago, rebuilt, and it has the same owner. It used to be called "little Venice". Anyways, food is overpriced. There are so many good restaurants on the BW. If the waitstaff was super attentive I can understand the prices, but they were not attentive whatsoever. I had to flag an employee down every time I needed something. The pizza had no flavor. I had the meat lovers and all I could taste was the dough. Calamari was good.
