Once we were in the room she asked me to explain what areas I wanted to focus on. I explained that I had had knee surgery 7 weeks ago and that my calf and hamstring on that leg were tight and needed to be stretched out. She nodded that she understood. She started working on that leg with light pressure and then moved to the left leg. I asked her to please go back and apply more pressure on the right leg and she refused, citing that my surgery was too recent and that she would need to wait 8 weeks to apply more pressure. At the end of the session I asked her why she didn't tell me that she was not going to honor my request when we first discussed it but she just repeated what she had said before. I had booked a longer appointment just to have this issue properly addressed and it was not. I didn't get the work done that I asked for and feel that I am owed at least a partial refund. I left a review at the office but have heard nothing back from them.

Her name is Ne-ne at Lang ocean Spa Chicago has excellent technique. What makes her massage unique is that she also uses her feet to get into those deep aching muscles while holding onto overhead bars. She even uses her entire body to deliver a deep effective stretches. Despite her small frame, she can lift you up and stretch your whole body. It's impressive. I felt great after. Her accent can be a little challenging, but her technique speaks for itself.
