We stopped here first on our way into Chicago - it's in the second story of a multi - tenant building that you have to buzz into. Parking is convenient, right across the street. It's right next to the train station. Pricing was great, ambiance was perfect. The couples massage was exactly what we wanted and a little more. Couldn't recommend it more. read more

Wonderful place to relax and take a break from daily stress. Friendly team and a clean, peaceful setting.

Writing this review on my way out of my first visit -- Abby is wonderful! I booked a same day appointment and Massage Evolved was able to fit me in for a 60 minute Deep Tissue Massage. The studio is relaxing, well equipped and very comfortable! Abby did a fantastic job of listening to my needs and giving the perfect level of "firm" during my massage. I went in incredibly tight and feel so much better after just one session, I will definitely be back! I also thought the pricing was extremely fair for the level of service (if anything, it's a deal!) read more

One word: PANNATHORN He was simply amazing, truly one of the best massages I've ever had in my life. It's a shame I don't live locally, because I would honestly take the 4-hour flight just to see him again. He worked muscles in my scapula I didn't even know could be reached, and every movement felt intentional and skillful. I didn't want it to end. As for Massage Evolved itself, I felt like it was a luxe experience overall. I was happily greeted and offered a beverage by the front desk. They explained where to put your shoes and gave a clear overview of what to expect during my visit. When I'm back in town, Massage Evolved will absolutely be my very first stop. Highly recommend asking for Pannathorn if you want an unforgettable massage experience! read more

Wow! What an amazing massage with GiGi. This place is tucked in to a second floor space in a building on Clinton. There's a touch screen to your right to be buzzed into the building. A quick elevator ride to the second floor and you walk straight into the lobby. I was early so they actually took me in early right after I signed some quick paperwork. Gigi asked me a few questions about my massage and let me know everything from the music loudness to the firmness of the massage was my choice. This was 90 minutes of bliss. I asked for extra time on my feet, hands and forearms and she listened. I have had more massages than I could possibly count and this was in the top I have ever had based on Gigi's care. I added the cbd oil as an add on and within the first ten minutes I could feel relief. I highly recommend this location if you are in downtown Chicago. read more

My boyfriend and I booked a couples massage for 90 minutes. The receptionist was helpful and super friendly! Our massagers were Lauren and Gigi and they did a fantastic job. We were the last clients of the day and they still gave it their 100% effort with clear communication, a relaxing atmosphere and just an overall amazing experience! We're from out of state but if we ever come back to Chicago we would absolutely come here again. read more

From start to finish, everything was perfect -- clean room, soft lighting, and a massage that melted away all tension. 10/10!

My boyfriend and I did a 60 min couples massage and neither of us had been here before. Both massage therapists were so respectful and made us feel comfortable as well as asking questions about what areas needed attention. read more

My husband booked couples massages for us here and we had a great time! To be honest, the entrance to the building is a bit wierd. A little creepy or eerie. But once you walk into the actual spa, it feels like an oasis! The waiting area and reception area is so lovely. I love all the decor and finishing touches of this area. The twinkle lights, the diffuser, the framed images--all of it is so well done. They also had mimosas waiting for us while we waited, PERFECT! We arrived at around 1:45/1:50 for our 2pm appointments. They started on us a bit late, the couple before us were chatting with the therapists a bunch before they could get the room ready for us. No big deal, luckily we didn't have anywhere we needed to be immediately following our massage. The couples massages were so relaxing. I like that they have you fill out a questionnaire at the beginning and then you can indicate problem areas you want them to focus on. The massage therapists are knowledgeable and super professional. read more

I enjoyed walking into a mimosa, the staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. I have been wanting to book another massage, just haven't had the time but I will eventually go back read more

I love this place so much I had to leave another top notch review! I had purchased a gift certificate prior to the lovely Covid years and my boyfriend, now fiancé, didn't get a chance to use it due to well you know... flash forward. Online and phone scheduling is super easy! I was able to book our couples massage over the phone quick & easy. Hot stone for me & Swedish for him. The atmosphere is always so welcoming as soon as you come in. Cloud slippers. Mimosas. The friendliest staff and skilled massage therapist make this a win win win for me. Even the fiancé loved his first professional massage and wants to make it a regular occurrence. All the stars! read more

Simple booking, clean, professional, and Susanna did a great job for my mom - will rebook read more

Great place. Easy to find, I think you need to call to get buzzed in but someone walked out when we got there so we didn't have to wait. The receptionist was really nice and got us water while we filled out our paperwork. I got a massage with Brittney and she was amazing. I usually like light pressure and I'm pretty ticklish but she made sure to accommodate that. The music was not too loud and overall it was a great experience. read more

We are regulars here and each time our experience is fantastic! The ambiance is nice and relaxing and the price is very affordable for the area. read more

We had a really good experience the first time, but second time the massage therapist spent half the time gliding his hands. I made mention of my experience to the owner and receptionist and they couldn't have cared less. We will certainly not be going back and would recommend other establishments for the price. read more

Teresa was great! Extremely knowledgeable and provided the perfect pressure. Definitely recommend! Would love for this business to offer some sort of membership or massage plan! read more

I am visiting from out of state and the hotel I'm at didn't have a spa like I thought, so I searched for someone in the area. I was having issues using their online booking, so called and was able to get booked for the very next morning. I received a 90-minute warm stone massage from Susana, with medium-firm pressure. The location was easy to find and the reception staff was friendly. The space is clean and tranquil. There are showers, but I wasn't invited to use the facilities to shower pre- nor post service. Which was fine, as I always shower thoroughly prior to arriving for any massage. However, given that it's an advertised amenity I thought the invitation would have been extended. Especially as I arrived about 30 minutes early and was not taken back until my exact appointment time. The room itself was very nice, I liked the decor elements. The one thing I would have changed was the temperature, but I didn't bother to say anything because I didn't want to take away any more time from my service. My usual massage therapist has a table warmer and will turn it on if I ask. But I figured since it's summer and hot out, they forewent it. You are draped the entire time, so if you are squeamish about modesty, there's no need to worry here. Susana was thorough and went over my areas of concern with me prior to starting and when she was finished I felt much better. I have a recurring problem area in my shoulder/neck area, and when she was done I couldn't feel any tension there after always feeling it for weeks at a time. I would definitely come back here if in town and would recommend. read more

Great place to get a massage for all my out of towners. We stopped here while on vacation and was able to book the night before the session. The office is wonderful and their music is great. read more

Had a fantastic experience this weekend getting a couples massage with my husband. We were in town for a wedding but wanted to pamper ourselves as we don't go out too often. Luckily we found Massage Evolved who took such great care of us. Susan worked on my husband while I had Justin who was absolutely amazing. He made sure to calmly communicate in case anything hurt or if I needed more. He was gentle and knew the movements I needed for true relaxation. Can't wait to come back and see them again! read more

we had an appointment with brittney and ruby. they were both great and professional. i did wish that they emphasized more on the areas that i circled in the info sheet. the area is very comfortable and relaxing! read more

This place was pretty good for massages a few years ago, but it started to become "hit and miss"...... and lately unfortunately it is just "miss". Been pretty disappointed in my recent experiences here.... Wound only go back in a desperate pinch. read more

My massage with Susanna was great and I'll be thinking about it for a long time. This is of the best massage studios in Chicago.

Had one of the best massages I've ever had by Susana. She had the right amount of pressure and was very professional. Can't wait to book my next massage! read more

Brittney was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed and relaxed during my 75 min massage with her. Highly recommend this hidden, convenient gem of a spa in west loop. read more

Great experience. Offered us two free glasses of champagne. Massage put me in a relaxing place, nice vibes in the facility altogether. The staff and massage therapists were friendly and attentive. They gave out plenty of water which was great. Would recommend. read more

Brittney and Lauren were GREAT. This was the first time i had a massage and didn't count down the 60 minutes. Thank you Lauren. Britney my friend couldn't stop saying how GREAT his massage was. Next time we are in Chicago we will definitely be booking here. read more

My guy and I felt extremely rushed. The ladies started the messages at two different times. My guy was getting a message while I waited a few mins before the lady that was massaging me walked in speaking in her regular toned voiced interrupting what my guy could have had was quiet and peace. Although the lady started on me a few mins after my guy she finished me first like I know that it was not 60mins. My guy also mentioned the woman that massaged him seem like she didn't want to and was totally uncomfortable with the way she lightly touched him. We both didn't have a good experience to be up front as we attend couple's messages often at other locations we feel the only thing we liked was your receptionist and the mimosas. Other than that we didn't enjoy which saddens me because we felt like we paid all that money for nothing. read more

I'm a regular client for eyebrow wax & shape at Massage Evolved. It is a great space with an amazing atmosphere. I have only worked with Rhema, who is kind, thorough and attentive. Frankly, at this point she is the only one I let touch my eyebrows. I highly recommend this place and Rhema especially! read more

Great space, excellent service, amazing hot stone massage. I definitely recommend this place..

Had a 30 min massage and cupping done here. The room itself is like walking into a sanctuary of calmness. Just what I needed before my flight home. For booking, I had to call since it wasn't clear on the sign up options for the 30 min massage+cupping so that would be my one piece of feedback for the place. read more

Susanna is absolutely amazing. I'm 5 months Prego and she gave me the best prenatal massage ever. ( I've done several before in my last pregnancy). I will 100% be back to see her. I would recommend her to any of my friends and family that are or aren't pregnant to go see her RIGHT AWAY! 5 stars. read more

Terrible experience. Left in more pain than I entered, to just find out that my masseuse was brand new. This is a very expensive massage to get someone new that doesn't know what they are doing. I should've atleast been given a heads up that the masseuse was new and not had to pay full price when I am coming here to relax but leaving in pain because the person doesn't have experience and is using me as training. This has happened twice now(back to back times). I do not plan to return and would not recommend to others unless you have gone often and know exactly who is giving you a massage. Very disappointed read more

I got a gift certificate for Christmas and am so grateful. This was the best massage I've ever had! Max is wonderful.

I loved the ambience of the spa and the massage room. The whole check-in process was great. The front desk person was super warm and friendly. Appreciated the prosecco as well. The ambiance was excellent, the facility was really nice and Gaby and Susana were fantastic! I've had a ton of massages in my life, this was the first time the pressure was on par with what I wanted (super firm) and there technique was amazing. Absolutely amazing massage. Stephanie Toro work's magic! My back has never felt better :)

I've gone to have both a facial and massage. I'm pretty satisfied with the massage and it seems most clients were coming for that. But I do not recommend this face for facial as it's the worst facial I've gotten in my entire life. The person who thinks facial should be offered at this quality most definitely never gotten a good facial him/herself. Wouldn't surprise me if she/he never had one. Disclaimer: I grew up in asia so I'm used to pretty high facial standards but the following hopefully will make you think twice of going there for facials using standards from any country. The deep cleansing facial I wanted is about deep cleaning but deep cleaning is not washing and scrubbing your face 3 times and apply a cooling gel and call it a day. I have both the electric face washer and the beauty roller they used which means I know how they should be properly used. I was first shocked that a face washer is used at all because facials are about healing power of hands and good massaging cleaning can do wonders. But skipping passed that, imagine having a brush on your face brushing for a good 5 mins (ladies who have the brush know that's long) and immediately followed by a harsh scrubbing face wash with massaging pressure. I think the esthetician lacks basic training judging by her moves. I don't mean this as a personal insult rather honest opinion. Because not only was the total amount of time of her actual hands on my actual face area be maybe 10 mins tops but also for example most people (probably everyone) tend to need deepest cleansing around the t zone (forehead and nose). No one that I know needs to have their cheek bone area scratched the hardest. But the 1/3 of the facial, my right cheek has been scratched up by several times of washing and towel wiping (get beauty wipes please!) to the point when she put on what I think was toner with high alcohol concentration, my face was actually hurting. But nose area was slightly stroked each time during this process. I should say there was work around the nose. The following Extraction portion was her using two beauty swabs trying to get black heads out. I didn't even think that kind of maneuver can be done. The most appalling part was the use of beauty roller, which if you didn't know, is a vibrating, metal bar or sometimes ball thing. Imagine not having any moisture on your face and have a piece of metal trying to stretch across it. I mean most people's common sense is probably making them think hmm maybe some moisturizer would help with this process. I do expect some level of drying with any facial so I brought my own Lamer moisturizer and eye concentrate just in case. I'm glad I did cuz immediately after the facial, I went to the bathroom and used twice the amount I'd normally use. Funny I felt I had to recover from a facial. I'm not interested in getting anyone in trouble. Just thought to share my experience so you guys can judge for yourselves. (Again I recommend this place for massages and may go back for that. Update: just saw the response from the business. 1) I did not use my actual name in my yelp account as I do not believe that is a requirement. 2) Using he/she is to mean that anyone would find the service not acceptable (if you read my comments carefully, you should be able to get why I said that instead of pointing out this technicality. And I also think you (owner and employees)) can actually tell based on what I've outlined whether I've actually been a customer or not so there's no point playing that game). Bottom line: I just saw this post so I never nor would I ever reach out to get the refund because I do believe those offered service deserve to get paid/ getting out of payment was not the goal of my post. But I feel it is my duty as a customer to share my actual experience so others can have all the information they need. If others have positive experience, that's great! I even mentioned I would go back for massages because the lady did a great job. But I do feel I have the right to outline what happened. Suggesting I'm some sort of spam / wrote my post out of other will is unfair and inaccurate. read more
