Nestled on an unassuming strip opposite from the Halsted Orange Line, Pain Stop is a no-frills clean little business. I've been going here for years and will continue to do so as long as I call Chicago home. Now on to FONG. You've seen her name around here and for good reason. She's an amazing massage therapist and amazing human. I go to Fong regularly now and I'll tell you why. Fong does a very good job of concentrating on the areas that have those knots. She's gifted at what she does. AND she's just delightful. After first meeting with her, Fong met me in the lobby to teach me some stretches and how to better my posture. I told her that my posture is so poor because I try to hide my stomach. She took my hands, told me she understands, but assured me that our bodies are perfect the way they are. I left Pain Stop feeling so much looser and incredibly empowered. Going to Fong on a monthly basis is truly my way of taking care of my body. You should all book with her! But not until after I schedule all my monthly appointments. ;)
