Menudo to go.
Son M.

I came in for menudo to go because I wasn't in the mood for the continental breakfast at my motel. I ordered at the counter and service was friendly. The food came out shortly afterwards and was well packaged for my short walk back to my motel room. The menudo was hot and filled with tripe. Much more tripe than hominy which made it a very rich menudo. The spice was balanced but did lean towards the milder end. Overall a hearty breakfast and I will return when the opportunity affords it!

My super stuffed taco pastor on a corn tortilla

A solid 3 stars for this neighborhood Mexican restaurant! Service was prompt and very cordial, we came for a light lunch around 1:30 pm on a Sunday and had ample parking and tables to sit at. Upon sitting we got a basket of chips that were warm and toasty: very delicious. The sauce was hot. I guess locals would call that normal- I'm a wimp so I felt the kick! Lol We ordered a carne guisada platter which was tasty and looked very appetizing. I ordered the Taco Pastor no onions, with a flour tortilla- and got a taco pastor. I was disappointed by the looks of what I was presented, but my daughter pointed out that that's exactly what I ordered... I didn't say "platter", so know the magic word for a full meal! Ha! The taco was actually all I needed to have as it was very filling, lots of good meat, but it was also somewhat greasy for my taste. Fast friendly service, good food, know what you order... that's a solid 3 in my book. Enjoy!

Solid breakfast, friendly staff, bright interior. I was along 183 and had heard nice things about this slightly-hidden Austin institution. Google maps will take you to the gas station next-door, but you'll want to drive an extra 20 feet and hit that second entrance. Would return.

Has. The classic omelet and coffee for breakfast. That is what they're known for is cheap breakfast and lunch for working class people. This fits the bill as I've got a day of errands today (Saturday) after a rain storm night. Was fairly quiet as I got here an hour after they opened. Everyone is friendly here, they greet you at the door. Decent place to enjoy a Mexican breakfast. My only complaint if I can find one is that they don't have pancakes, maybe another complaint is they aren't open in the evening .

Wow! What an incredible experience at Sixty Vines in The Domain!…read more We made our reservation through OpenTable and mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. When we arrived at our table, we were surprised with a handwritten Happy Anniversary postcard and a beautifully presented gift--such a thoughtful touch that immediately made the evening feel special. Our server, Polina, was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to learn what styles of wine we enjoy and brought us a few samples before helping us choose an amazing wine flight. Her recommendations were spot-on! We also enjoyed a custom charcuterie board and the prosciutto & fig pizza, both of which were outstanding. To top it all off, Andrew, the manager, stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. We loved learning about Sixty Vines' unique wine-on-tap program and appreciated their commitment to sustainability, including composting food scraps. (They didn't have much to compost from our table--maybe a bite or two of pizza crust! ) The only disappointing part of the evening was that we had tickets to a show and couldn't stay longer to explore more of their incredible wine selection. That's just another reason we'll definitely be back!

Oh my sweet, sweet Sweetgreen…read more I've always loved their salads and have recently become obsessed with their wraps. Their caesar salad wrap to be specific. Everytime I order from a Sweetgreen the veggies are fresh and the portion size vs. the price is fair. I can usually get two meals out of one order. I want to give major kudos to this location specifically because I accidentally left my wallet while visiting on a Saturday afternoon. After not being able to find my wallet thinking it was in my house somewhere I decided to stop by the Union Market Sweetgreen location to check on Monday. After about 5 minutes of waiting the manager came over to bring me my wallet. Yay! All of my belongings were still in it. I'm grateful for them holding onto my items. I look forward to visiting this location more often especially because they have a lot of seating. And side note, be sure to download their apps. It's super easy to earn rewards if you go there often. Enjoy!

Their hours are a little earlier than most places and most Sweetgreens for some reason. I ordered online and customized a nice salad. I had to pick a bug out of it, but honestly I'm not enraged; I'd like to have those removed during the cleaning process but a small fly hiding in some greenery is a natural thing and these are quality fresh plants. While it is mostly a takeout, the people working there were on point with service, even holding the door open for me.

When we walked in, we were greeted by beautiful decor, though it seemed quite busy, so there weren't many staff members at the front to welcome us. The restaurant had a couple of other guests, but it did take a little while for someone to come over and help us find a seat. Stuart enjoyed his chicken fajitas--they loved them! I chose the fresh burrito to avoid simple carbs. The food was a bit mild in flavor, so I asked for salsa. They have a delicious homemade habanero salsa that's bursting with flavor, and I especially appreciated that it wasn't smoky. That salsa alone earns five stars from me! Aside from that, it was a little challenging to get someone's attention for the check and water, but overall, it was a pleasant experience.

It's a scratch kitchen concept with seasonal menus. There are plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options. I ordered the Korean noodles with tofu while my husband got the all-American burger and my toddler got the blueberry pancakes. While the pancakes were good, for $8.50 I had hoped we would've gotten at least 2 pancakes but it was just a single piece. The Korean noodle bowl was good but it seemed pretty pricey for the amount I got since any protein add-on is a separate cost. At the end of the day, these prices are pretty much what you can except at the Domain so it is what it is.

We noticed also the outdoor seating options. We were seated in a side room still open to the main restaurant but a bit more secluded. The menu consists of healthy food choices with a lot of fresh components. I had the ancient grain bowl with seared salmon , glazed sweet potatoes cubes , onions, portobello mushrooms, avocado slice , snap peas and pistachio pesto which delicious. I could have eaten the pesto by the spoon My friend had the Chinese chicken salad with bok choy, watermelon relish, mixed greens , pickled ginger and avocado. The food is healthy AND delicious. The server suggested the Edamame dumplings as appetizer which was heavenly tasty. He also recommended the jasmine green tea where I as an avid tea drinker immediately noticed the bursting flavor of jasmine. He answered my question that it is high quality loose tea fresh brewed to order. True Food Kitchen definitely a must see when planning a dinner or lunch in the Domain.
