Let's skip the parking drama and get to the food and restaurant. Well stocked bar although I didn't partake of adult beverages today. Instead I did the non alcoholic mango lassi (I had this drink for the 1st time at my new favorite Indian buffet & it was phenomenal there) so I tried theirs and it was banging too. Interior is nice Indian music playing and multiple TVs going some with Indian cooking, Indian dance, and news. When you come in greeted and seated quickly. If you see my other reviews when I go to any special ethnic restaurant, when I see their culture eating there you already know it's going to be TASTE BUD HEAVEN. I am glad that this is the case because it was a little more than what I was expecting to spend. However, I do think that the price was okay for dinner. The service was more than I had ever expected, especially for just having placed a to go order. They allowed me to sit inside the restaurant while I waited for my food, noted that I was waiting on my order so that it would come out in a reasonable time, and also offered me a to go water while I was waiting. The containers that my food came in are honestly ones that I could reuse. The ambience of the restaurant is also nice. There is a nice patio with different types of seating to accommodate all needs. The inside has a nice bar and they have music playing at a volume that allows you to listen, but it's not too loud. There is also a separate parking lot across the street that is reserved for customers of the restaurant, which is really nice since it is located in downtown. They also had a display case of desserts and pastries. The food I received included rice, chicken tandoori, some curry, and fried bread. The chicken was spicy and tasted good, but some of the rice was undercooked and the curry wasn't great. The samosas were pretty simple but good, and I love the mint chutney and tamarind sauce that come with it. This is a neat place to peruse and pick up some items to cook Indian food. Maybe their lunch buffet is better fresh but I don't think the bag met the anticipated value.

I ordered right as they opened and my order came fairly quickly (~40 mins), so I was really happy with that as well. The mesir wat was seasoned spectacularly! Just enough heat that pairs with the savory flavor. The gomen also was deliciously garlicky, all coming together so harmoniously with the sourness of the injera. I was worried that ordering it for delivery would affect the experience, but everything came nice and warm and it was so great to have this meal at home. The lunch special also includes a spring roll and soup but I asked to not have those brought out as I know I wouldn't eat them. The sesame chicken was delicious. Chicken cooked perfectly. Slightly crispy outside but still tender and juicy. Fried rice was very good. Atmosphere is very nice. Clean. I sat at the bar where there are good TV viewing options. Presentation of food was also nice, which shows they take pride in what they're doing. Bartender/server was polite. Big menu. I'm interested in returning to try their Indian food. I have no negatives about Vinsar's Lounge. Only reason it's an 8.8 and not a 10 is because Asian food isn't my favorite. But for what this place is, it scored about as high as it could have gotten based on what I like. I work nearby, so I definitely plan on returning.

If you're with a group of people, it looked like the family meals were the best value. The parking lot is small, so plan on parking on a side street if the spaces are all taken.
