3/8/2025 Wife and I stopped for Lunch today. Parking 5/5 Arrived 5 minutes before opening so the lot was ours. There is plenty of private parking including Handicapped spaces by the front door. Ambiance 5/5 We were greeted immediately by a pleasant Gentleman and were seated in the waiting area. The waiting area is nice and includes a separate seating in-the-round with a map of India with photos on wall. We were seated in the dining area which is always very nice (redecorated). The white linen table dress wasn't present possibly reserved for the dinner service which is when we've visited in the past. Menu 5/5 We took a walk on the wild side, meaning we ventured from or normal order-off the menu go-to's decided to try the Lunch Service Buffet. It was time to checkout other proteins and "flavoFlavs" ! Food 5/5 Provided with the buffet is an order of Garlic/Regulr Naan and multiple trips at the Buffet. My Wife 1st trip was for the Goat Marsala and Rice, I tried the butter and mixed vegetable Marsala and jasmine rice. Absolutely amazing flavors and delicious! We both tried other flavors and proteins on our second pass. Again, everything was great. Frequent flyer tip: If you know your Indian dishes and have a favorite order from the Menu. We decided to be more adventurous today but will order our favorite (Worlds best Chicken Tikka Marsala) from the menu next trip and yes many more visits! This is the very best Indian restaurant in the Valley Keep on Yelping my Friends!

Awful. Horrible. Terrible. Slop! We invited friends to our house. Since we liked Indian food we decided to try this place for take-out. One of our friends is from India and when my husband and I lived in NYC, we ate Indian food frequently. We wasted over $100 on the worst Indian food we ever tried. We threw it out and went to Uncle Sal's, our go-to emergency spot. It was Saturday night so there was no excuse for serving such horrible food. Everything looked and tasted the same. We couldn't tell the difference between cauliflower, potatoes, eggplant or chicken. Mysterious, overcooked chunks were swimming in oil. Tomato based sauce tasted the same as butter sauce and tandoori flavors. BaganBartha looked like green vomit. Other dishes looked like diarrhea that had sat on a steam table since their lunch buffet. There were no discernable nuts or raisins in the Biyrani. We asked for Mango chutney but they couldn't find it. We asked for mild to medium heat level but it was as hot as the hottest Vindaloo we've ever eaten. To top things off, they asked us to call back in 5 minutes to order because the cash register was broken. Seriously? On a Saturday night? We should not have called back and we won't be back. ICK. We're glad we went elsewhere or we might have gotten ill. Spare yourselves.

This Indian restaurant is still a 5 star for me. Here's an updated review since it has been a few years! Did an early Valentine's Day lunch buffet and as always the food was delicious. A few items had a bit of a kick. A buffet is a great choice to try several dishes that might be new to you! There was a fried cabbage dish that I had not tried before. Chicken seemed to be the main meat offering in many of the dishes, so if you want something not chicken related, the main menu might be a better choice. Service at noon was quick and our dirty dishes were whisked away quickly. I enjoy the interior, as there is always lots of tables.

Just spent over $60 for a 2 person meal. Horribly small portions for the $$ with so much better Indian food out there. Will not ever buy from here again. Triple portions of rice and one naan. Complete and total ripoff.

Came here for the first time for Phoenix restaurant week and I liked the different variety of vegan and non vegan options. I really enjoyed the aloo matar, it was very flavorful. I got the spice level of 5 and I personally didn't think it was spicy so if you like spice I would recommend a higher level. The staff was very attentive and brought out our food quickly, the service was great.

The food is so good! The servers were attentive and kind, and the place was clean and overall beautiful. We had a nice time and the food was well priced

When you walk in, the buffet is right there behind the front desk. Yes, it was mostly a chinese buffet but there's one item on the array of foods that I liked a lot. It was a bit too spicy for me and it was Cajun sauce with potatoes and I poured the sauce in a container and made my way and grabbed some snow crab legs and crawfish and made my own seafood boil lol Pros: They stack the crab legs and crawfish Although the Crawfish didn't have any flavor (I would suggest dumping it in the cajun sauce with potatoes) Cons: It was an hr drive to PHX and the traffic.. LINS LINS is located in the Metro Mall. They describe their…read morecuisine as American Chinese Food. For example they sell the Egg Roll which is a American version of Spring Roll. They can be identified by their crust. The Spring roll has a light, crispy crust. It is Asian. The egg roll's crust is darker, thicker and in some cases larger. They also have two types of other dishes. Chow Fun, a very thin rice noodle is available. So is Lo Mein, a soft cooked wheat noodle. The later is American. There are many varieties of chicken, and soup. They serve dumplings and have a Sushi Bar, and two dessert bars, one with fruits and the other with cake and ice cream The trays are always kept full. The food is fresh. What puzzles me is the two out of three phenomena. In this case they have enchiladas (delicious!) and rice but not beans. In other Asian buffets they serve Kielbasa with cabbage but no potatoes. Do they simply not know? I have no answer. If you want to know what is in a tray before you look at the frame, above the food tray. The content of each tray is listed on the label above it. Look up--it is high up on a little white tab. To the right of the Shushi table are fruits. If you want cake and ice cream head to the Habaci table. They will be to the left. The bathrooms appear clean, but neglected. It appears that no one checks them during the day. The same paper towel that was there when we entered, was still on the same place on the floor when we left. A dirty towel on the floor is not such a serious flaw that it would change my rating to any less then five stars. The food is good, it is fresh. The trays are always filled with many varieties of fresh food.

I have to say that it was a great offering from the restaurant. Overall great experience and food quality. Here are my takes: Food/Drinks: The variety and the quality is too good. Tons of sushi options, live mongolian beef stations, soup, desserts etc, whatever you can think of in asian food is here. The restaurant manager did say they have around 100 options to eat. Came with soft drink choice options. I would love to try these again. Service: Our server was nice and very attentive. The staff in general is very nice. We have at least 2-3 staff dedicated for us and they checked/cleaned on regular intervals. Ambiance: Great interiors and vibe here including that you will see in restroom. They have plenty of seating indoors. Hygiene: It's a new spot so everything was very clean and tidy. No complaints at all. The location with surprise you. Price: Here is the best part since the prices are very reasonable for the quality you are getting. Dining here would save you a lot specially if you are coming in empty stomach.

Amazing Restaurant!…read more All amazing people of Phoenix, if you have not gone to this phenomenal restaurant yet, you really need to. This is one convenient, high quality, extremely flavorful Chinese place that me and my husband visited today. It was just high quality all the way! When we arrived it was quiet. Superbly clean, neat and tidy. Cute decor and a nice inviting vibe. We were sat at a table and given our menus. Prices were really good. Especially when you get the quality of food that comes out of that kitchen. Our waitress was super-nice. Which is hard to find these days. She was so nice to everyone who came in. When we sat down, a lady who wasn't too sure about the place came in asking all kinds of questions. And she patiently answered each one as if she was a close family member. A homeless guy came in asking for water. She jumped right up to give him a HUGE cup of ice and water and was so kind to him. Then other patrons came in to order and pick up food and each one, regardless of age, ethnic makeup, what they were wearing, all were greeted so warmly. Huge smiles and a constant giving and warm attitude all throughout. We were treated just as good. And for us that is very rare. We ordered a lot of various things. A cold cucumber salad, a hot appetizer, a couple of main dishes. Then the absolute most amazing signature steak on the Chef's Speciality. WOW. The salad and appetizers came out first. Salad really cold and refreshing. Super crisp and cut nicely. Amazing flavor. Then the appetizers were super hot and fresh. Not oily. Bursting with flavor. Then the mains came. Everything cooked perfectly. The flavors of each dish just screaming at my taste buds. Enjoyed every bite. Then they brought out the steak for my husband. So juicy. So tender. And the sauce in the side just added to the flavor. We savored every bite. The quality and temperatures and flavors are off the chart. We could not finish all this bliss in one sitting, se we asked for boxes and containers. She gave us many to separate everything and a bag to haul it home in. Always asking if we needed anything else and being authentically polite. This place should be packed. You are missing out if you have not tried New Hong King Restaurant. Amazing service. Over all fish was OK on the quality but you get what you pay for. I did not try some of the other side menu items due to not being able to over stuff myself like I used to. If you are in the area and want to stuff yourself with not to bad sushi this place might work. I personally would not come back for the quality and price for the food.
