One of my ex-colleagues recommended this place for lunch, so we decided to give it a try on a Wednesday afternoon. The place is super clean, and the service is quick and excellent. The menu is simple, and they also offer lunch specials. We went with the non-veg biryani lunch, and I learned that the restaurant is partnered with Urban Chili Grocery. The food arrived quickly -- served as a thali plate that included an appetizer, dessert, and the main dish. The portion size was generous, and the price was surprisingly affordable for the amount of food served. Everything tasted delicious! The biryani and the appetizer were both excellent, and we also tried the butter chicken, which was equally good. We found this place on our last night. I wish we would have known sooner. Had about four different dishes all were tasty. Stuffed eggplant, butter paneer, chicken biriyani samosas . Brightly decorated and clean environment. Friendly staff. We were shocked by the bill the low cost compared to today's standards of eating out was a great surprise. And the portions were not small. I ordered from Urban district for the first time because I was craving Indian food, and I'm honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed everything. Every dish I ordered was flavorful and well-seasoned. I tried the masala dosa, chicken tikka masala with garlic naan, and bullet naan. The dosa had a delicious seasoning with potatoes, which I liked. The chicken tikka masala was rich and satisfying, and both types of naan were fresh and tasty. The food also seemed a bit more seasoned / slightly saltier than the usual Indian takeout I order, but it paired perfectly with the naan and rice. Everything arrived well-packaged. The only hiccup was that one of the menu items I ordered on DoorDash didn't show up on the receipt even though it appeared on the app. Thankfully it wasn't a big issue as we had plenty of food. Overall, I'm really impressed and will definitely be ordering again. This might just become my new go-to spot for Indian food! read more

Wow! First time here and I'm so glad I walked in. The flavors of everything we ordered were amazing. Fresh ingredients with loads of flavor in every bite. The murals on the wall were lovely. Wow 10000/10 will be back & will be telling everyone I know about this place. Stopped in on a whim about 30 min before they closed and not familiar with this area too much - i live about 20 mins away. They took my order over the phone and were super nice. The service when we arrived was warm, inviting and overall just a business you'd want to continue supporting just based off of the service. Their customer service sucks. Employees are constantly distracted and inattentive. When you walk in they look disappointed to see a customer almost like serving someone is an inconvenience to them. Also they mismanage the to go orders and a lack of communication between employees keeps orders sitting around getting cold for minutes before they realize the person that's supposed to pick up the order has been sitting in the restaurant the whole time. Give your money to a restaurant that appreciates you spending your hard earned money at their establishment. Urban district does not care about you. read more

Food taste has improved. Chicken Tikka and Biryani were both quite delicious. Spice level in garlic naan was way too much and could barely eat it. They need to ask if extra chili should be used or not as it ruins the taste. read more

Today, I visited this restaurant, and my suggestion is......Never order veg thali , my rating is is 4/10

The food was so delicious coming out of the kitchen. Service was good until they had a couple more customers. They seemed to forget about us and didn't bring part of our meal out. They were very considerate our request for non dairy items, then served us a drink with milk and yogurt. It was fine because it was an honest mistake. Everything we ate was so flavorful and smelled amazing. The place looks very urban, they have a pastry counter. It was mid week and probably weren't staffed for the last minute rush they had and the end of the night. I would go again. read more

Neither one of us wanted anything very spicy so it's difficult when you go into a restaurant and you don't understand what's on the menu. The space was bright and fun with great murals. The staff was so kind and helpful with selections. The food was great - clearly we over ordered as we had a lot of food to take home. Whatever you want to try right from thali to appetizers like gobi manchurian, goat sukka , chicken 65, tandoori platter with special mention for achari chicken has been amazing. Would defintely recommend the parottha with chicken curry. Would keep coming back to try other items on menu. Wow! This is by far the best Indian food I've had in a long time! We have ordered chicken 65,chicken lollipop,Tawa Fish. Everything was so delicious,flavorful, spiced evenly and this the best chicken 65 and Street side noodles we ever had in the US(Reminded me of the food I used to eat in India). Karaikudi Paneer was amazing, perfect blend of spices. Last but not the least, Biryani tasted really good :) The portion size was much larger than expected. Visited this relatively new restaurant today. It used to be a different Indian restaurant, but has new ownership/management. The makeover of the interior is much better, but still a little stark. We ordered the Malai Methi Paneer and the Butter Chicken with a side of the garlic naan. We were not disappointed. The food was 5 stars. The experience started off a little rough as staff seemed not sure what to do. We were a party of two and they only brought one menu as my guest had not yet arrived. They also seemed to hover a bit not giving us time to peruse the menu. I chalk this up to being a new restaurant and staff needing to settle in. Once we did have a few decisions and questions our waiter was most gracious and explained items in detail. As noted above the food was amazing - disclaimer be ready for major spice! We were also treated (comps) with Rasmalai for dessert which we'd never had before and was a wonderful complement to the spice we had just enjoyed. We will definitely be going back to check out more items and they also have a lunch special during the week and a buffet on the weekends to give you a chance to try several items. As noted by another reviewer there are several indian restaurants in the area, but this one is definately worth trying! read more
