Biryani was one of the best I have tried in the valley. They are very underrated now that I compare with other Indian restaurants. Flavor, spice levels are good. Decent quantity. They made sure to add more paneer as per request. Order was ready by the time I went for pickup. Restaurant was clean but plates on some tables weren't cleared. Plenty of parking. We were around the area and wanted to try this place for a Sunday lunch. It's a regular sit in restaurant nothing fancy. You order upfront and the food is brought to table. We went with egg dosa, andhra chicken fry, garlic naan, paneer tikka and goat biryani. Egg dosa barely had salt and was just alright. Chicken fry and paneer tikka wasn't anything out of ordinary. Goat biryani was flavorful but the goat had the meat smell and that shows the restaurant is still not ready yet! It was just an alright lunch and hope it gets better. Friendly staff and restaurant interior seemed warm, welcoming, and would eat inside in a pinch. Had chicken tikka masala- tasty chicken chunks marinated in a savory sauce cooked perfectly. Basmati rice was generous in portions. The Butter Chicken was surprisingly tender and the butter sauce outstanding. Just like I've had anywhere in India. In fact, I liked this dish the best. Love this place. Wife and I went for lunch and tried our favorite of Butter Chicken and garlic naan. Did not disappoint. Both were delicious and had perfect heat. Service had typical excellent Indian hospitality. Young lady was friendly and kind. Only bad thing was that it was abnormally warm in the restaurant. This was a recent reopening of this space where another Indian restaurant was. They told me theyve been open for about 2 months now. Service was good. You order at the counter and then dishes are served to the table. I ordered a papdi chaat and masala dosa. The chaat was really good with the crunchyness, spice, and flavors it should with yogurt to help cool the spice a little. The dosa was a little thicker than im used to but had good flavor and consistency. Masala potatoes were served on the side and had a good kick to them. Sambar was great. Chutneys were a little different than the traditional ones im used to. White one was more peanutty than coconut. Darker one was heavy in ginger. Even though they were different, they went well with the rest of the dish. Prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back. read more

Delicious food and good spice (both flavor and heat). Their scale is 1 through 5 and I got a 2 and could sense it nicely. Great quality food. Their chicken dishes had big pieces and very tender. We had the chicken biriyani and Kadai chicken curry and both of us were very impressed. They had a nice amount of vegetarian options as well. Inside there were six tables and they also had a couple outdoors with shade. I couldn't find beverages on their menu but they have sodas and tea, and mango lassi. With two entrees, naan, and dessert, it came to $37. We thought this was an adequate price for the amount of food we received. We live on the opposite side of town but will definitely be returning and recommending to others. read more

A few months back, I was disappointed when I heard the original Indian restaurant that used to be here (Twisted Curry) had closed and moved all the way to Old Town Scottsdale. My local go-to for curry had disappeared, and I ultimately went the extra few miles to other nearby Indian places for a quick bite whenever I was in the mood. When I saw this pop up on Google back in late June, I decided to hit it up during a lunch break to see how the food was. I've ordered takeout from this place twice now, and both times have been excellent. My order this time around was the chicken tikka masala, which comes with a separate container of basmati rice, and a side order of butter naan. The curry itself has a bit of a kick to it, and it's absolutely delicious. The naan is soft and crisp, and you get two large pieces per order. The amount of food I get is more than enough to fill me. Definitely had a much better experience. Both the Naan and Chicken Biryani were tasty. Chutney is on the spicier side and surprisingly the soda machine had no ice which is disappointing in this hot weather. The Tandoori chicken could have tasted a little more authentic with more charbroiled BBQ taste. Overall, they have improved. read more
