I stopped by yesterday to get my kiddo some school shopping done and he got 3 sneakers and 5 shirts and 1 hoodie and a hat - all was reasonably priced! The staff were super friendly and helpful and it was very clean inside. Thank you Vans! They had a sale going on with the shirts by 2 for $20 and some other deals going on. One of the shoes my son got was also on sale for $17! What a steal! For everything I spent around $150 - I did not take pictures of everything sadly but I do have a picture of one of the shoes that were on sale! My son LOVES them! read more

This place is our "go to" when it comes to shoes for our toddler. At all times, they run the "Buy 1, Get 1 Sale Shoe 50% Off", and sometimes even Free. We've tried a few different brands since he started walking, and nothing holds up well. Cat & Jack shoes are the same price ($20-$30), and always end up falling apart. Converses seem to give out or become disfigured in some way. Vans, no problem ;) The employees here are always friendly and accommodating. I only wish they had a bigger selection of shoes for kids. I suggest asking what they have in the back, as most of the time they have something back there that you don't see out front when it comes to the Sale/Clearance Shoes. If they don't have your kids size, get a bigger size that they can grow into...always take advantage of the sales! Parking is NEVER an issue, as there's tons of space. Now, this DOES NOT come up as Vans "Outlet" on Google or Apple Maps, just Vans. When you turn into the first entrance as you get off the freeway, you just make a sharp right at the first stop sign after the Chevron on the left, then another immediate left and you'll be there (next to the Skechers Outlet). Long time shopper but will never go into this location again. I purchased 4 pairs of shoes for kids before school started. My son realized one shoe was harder to put on than the other when we realized they were two separate sizes. I came in and because I didn't have the receipt they refused to exchange the shoes. The manager "Pesto" said they can confirm the purchase through my account but they want the original receipt! Who holds onto receipts when you think they are able to pull up the purchase through my phone number. read more

We decided to check out the Vans outlet today in hopes for a better selection of our closer store in Peoria. Right away we were pleasantly surprised at how big it was and they had way more than our normal stop. We were greeted right away and told about their current but one get half off second pair of certain tagged shoes. The store was very clean and organized. Sales were awesome and we walked out with not 1, not two, but four pairs of shoes for $100. We will definitely make the extra drive out here from now on. There were also tons of clothes, hats, socks etc. All the employees were great and very friendly. Awesome experience. read more

Really disappointed in the Vans outlets lately, we walked in a couple weeks ago and there were two staff members in the front - but didn't greet us. They looked at us both and turned the other way. We walked around the store without being asked if we were finding everything okay or if we needed help, we spent about 5 minutes here then ended up leaving. The outlet was surprisingly packed, at the outlet mall itself was pretty dead. Only about 20 cars in the lot, even though there was tons of parking available. It was surprisingly well kept, but just wouldn't be worth stopping at. read more

We had an excellent experience here this week. We stopped at the outlet on our way from Sedona back to Gilbert. We purchased three pairs of shoes, two of which were for my husband. After getting home, he realized one pair was really tight, although the correct size. He drove all the way back up to Anthem a few days later to get a different size. He said the staff was overwhelmingly helpful. In fact, he said it might have been one of the most pleasant retail experiences he has ever had. The gentleman that helped him (I will have to update my review if I can get his name) went far and above to make the exchange. At first it seemed they didn't have the shoe we needed so we were going to have to get something different entirely, which was okay - but wasn't exactly what we wanted. Right before checking out, he offered to look online and have it shipped directly to our house. Not only were they able to locate the exact item we needed, they offered to use an online discount. On top of that, we walked away with a refund for the difference of the online sale price. Not very many retailers want to give you money back anymore, so we were thoroughly impressed! Went yesterday with my girl, it was their first day reopening after this mess of covid and being closed for months. They unfortunately had a limited stock shipped from the manufacturer. However James did an absolutely FANTASTIC JOB!!!! We cannot rave enough about how incredibly helpful he was, Aaron too checked us out as was great! But James was THE MAN!!! Called before arriving to ask if they had the shoes I wanted and if they had my size. They said yes so we drove 25 mins to go and finally get the shoes we've been searching for. When we got there we searched and saw no sign of the shoes so we asked. Once we did, we sat there for 20 minutes waiting with no update on if they had them or were looking for them. We were finally told that we could find them online and that they didn't have the shoes at all. I love vans but this store has disappointed me a few times. read more

It made me super uncomfortable and I definitely don't look like I can steal a huge box of shoes and put it in my tiny backpack purse. I live a mile from this Vans outlet and have several children. Our family probably buys 10 to 20 pairs a year. I bought a pair of the laceless slip on kind. (dont remember name) after about 5 hours of wear my little toe on each foot was beginning to blister. I went to return them and was told if 5 seconds "We can't resell these, no refund.) And manager walked away. I was going to exchange them for a different style. How irritating! Guess my Chuck Taylor collection will now get bigger. read more

Extremely unorganized, very poorly run and managed and the sale policies and terms are not clear or posted anywhere until you spend 30 minutes in line and the cashiers and managers decide what they will and will not honor. I had the worst experience of my life there today - the manager was having a personal conversation as the line just grew and grew. The employee who checked me out ripped the orange sale tag off the shoe and said it was a mistake. After I made a stink about how they should honor it, she very rudely decided to. The transaction required the manager's approval but when the manager (Angelina) came over she was extremely rude and wouldn't honor the sale because it didn't have the orange sticker - that the employee ripped off! Everyone was so rude and I had already wasted so much time in line - I ended up walking out without purchasing anything and I will not be back. read more

Went here today with my three kids to buy Vans for school. We did find some great deals. However, the service was terrible! We were trying to locate the styles they wanted plus all their sizes. One man stayed behind the counter and didn't budge. A woman was using hand held scanner scanning shoes around store. I actually had to go up to them SEVERAL times asking for help!!! FOR HEAVENS SAKE, CUSTOMERS ARE THERE TO POSSIBLY SPEND HUNDREDS...SHOW SOME INTEREST. I only continued because my son had g/c. I won't be going back to that location. Horrible Experience trying to buy new school schools! It was ridiculously crowded (not the stores fault per se) but you could barely walk through the aisles and the line wrapped around the store. After finally making our way through the store we were excited when one child found the exact shoes she wanted on the rows of sale shoes in the back. Since the signs say Buy one pair of Shoes get 50% off a Sale shoe, after A LOT of looking we finally found another pair in the newer section for the other child. Unfortunately, after waiting in the crazy long line and getting to counter we were told that they were both new shoes and so neither would get the discount! Now, I didn't drive 25 miles to pay full price for new shoes (I could have shopped at the mall for that!) so I told them that the one pair of shoes WAS on the sale shelf and was marked inside the shoe, unlike the other new shoes which had no individual prices marked. This was when they told me; they INTENTIONALLY put shoes that are not on sale on the sale shelves as "overflow," so among all of the rows of shelves full of sales shoes they will purposefully mix in 3-4 pairs of full price shoes. How underhanded and deceptive is that?! When I asked to speak to the manager and pointed out how deceptive it is, the teenager "in charge" was dismissive and unhelpful. Absolutely terrible customer service! I will definitely be buying a different brand of shoes from now on! read more

5 Stars for the service. Sierra (I think that's what the receipt said) was really patient and outgoing as I indecisively bounced between 10 different shoes. She was a young girl, but I could tell she genuinely loved her job and there was no such thing as a stupid question, and I was there past closing, thinking they closed at 9. The selection isn't massive, but the prices are reasonable and I did have choices that I was stuck between. I probably would have walked out with nothing and been frustrated had Sierra not been proactive and made suggestions on what would best suit me. I'm approaching 40 and was reminded of how passionate I was about my first jobs and how eager I was to help people and I actually went back to my workday with a rejuvenated sense of appreciation for what I do and got a ton accomplished that I have been procrastinating the day after.....wearing my new kicks on (conference call/non-client day). Funny how a seemingly normal trip to a shoe store can change perspective. This is probably the weirdest Yelp review I have written, but I wanted to thank her for helping me because the choices are a lot different than they were when I was buying Vans 25 years ago. read more
