Be aware Came to Shoe Palace with my family and the music was insanely loud, we politely asked Anthony and Abel if it could be turned down just a bit so we could talk to each other and they refused, asked for a manager and no one showed up, shopping should be a normal family experience where you can communicate not feel like you're inside a nightclub blasting explicit hip hop with constant cursing, definitely not a place to bring kids, very uncomfortable environment and I do not recommend this store at all. read more

I went to Shoe Palace and respectfully asked Anthony and Abel if they could turn the music down a little so we could communicate because it was extremely loud, they told me they couldn't, I then asked to speak to a manager and no manager was brought out, shopping should be a place where you can talk to your family and communicate comfortably not feel like you're in a club with extremely loud hip hop music full of bad words like f*** and d***, it's not a kid-friendly environment at all and you can't even shop with your children, very disappointing experience and not recommended at all. read more

This Shoe Palace is the worst location in the state! The "New manager" Itsel or whatever her name was, is very rude and unprofessional. Went in store, found a pair of Nike Dunk's I was willing to purchase. Asked 'Itsel' what sizes they had after waiting patiently in line for 10 minutes whilst the employees talked amongst themselves. A family with young children, definitely not Men's sized children were able to buy multiple pairs. When I asked to buy multiple, she said 1 per person after just selling several to a family to resell. Decided to go ahead and purchase 1 pair, asked for a size, she then proceeded to ignore me. Being in the sneaker community, it's well known this location Back Doors sneakers. The so called 'New manager' should check herself. read more

We went in here to find shoes for my son. He wanted the Jordan 4's which they didn't have. The young man named Bryan suggested an alternative pair. We had actually left to look at other stores and then came back. Bryan remembered our names and we ended up buying the pair he suggested along with a couple shirts and shoe cleaner. What could improve? The customer service. The young lady who provided assistance only after being asked for help, seemed annoyed that she was asked to begin with, the eye roll gave it away. My daughter was looking for a shoe in the Mens section and when she asked if she could try a specific size, this lady was hesitant to check stock. She asked 3 times if my daughter was "sure" this is what she was looking for before retrieving the shoe. You could tell she was annoyed by the scowl look on her face and the 2nd eye roll she gave when my daughter confirmed the 3rd time that she did want to try on the shoe. The shoe fit, it's what we were looking to purchase but the bad customer service was enough for me to take my money elsewhere. Creating a fun and enjoyable experience for customers is part of the job description for a retail sales associate at Shoe Palace, as is providing the best possible experience for the customer. You can confirm that on indeed. Instead of assisting the store in maximizing sales, a sale was lost here. Sure $125 is not going to break the bank at such a place but this individual is likely is costing the store way more in loss of sales with her poor attitude. I think the person that helped me was the manager. If they were the manager they were super helpful and I can completely understand why they have a managerial position. They were very patient with me and even though I came into the store and I was a little bit in disarray because it was raining they did everything they could to be patient and help me get all of the things that I needed. For that I would definitely always say thank you I wish more stores in the area taught their employees how to treat the customer. Horrible customer service! As soon as I walked in I did not get acknowledged nor greeted. I had called 30 minutes before asking to put a shoe on hold as I was driving down to this location. When arrived I asked for the shoe I had on hold which was the vomeros and the rep Itzel said no shoe was placed on hold and they had not received a call even tho I had the call history to show I called and spoke to a rep. Itzel did not want to check in the back if they had a size. As another associate kindly helped me check in the back for shoe size Itzel walked away whispering something under her breath. Proceeded to check me out with a nasty attitude. prior to arriving the shoe I had on hold and insisted she already sold that shoe. And it wouldn't be the first time this location has sold my shoe that I had on hold. Came here to get my mom some shoes, we were never welcomed and the service was terrible. Yes it was a store more for the younger crowd, but not everyone has the shoe my mom wanted. The associate later came up to me after about three minutes, note; there were Four associates total, one mom with her kids and no one else. It was not a busy day and still slow service. I wanted the best for my mom on what she wanted, first pair we looked at were dirty, second pair had major scratch marks. The associate had an attitude and gosh for bid I want a product not ruined already. Still got my shoes, but all associates were snobby and acting like my mom wasn't good enough to shop there. Sad to say I won't be coming back here, should've stuck with my gut on constant avoidance. read more

As a manager of a competing shoe store in the mall, its hard for me to admit that I even walked into this store. I love the brand I work for, but I was looking for something Vans couldn't provide. I walked in and was greeted within ten seconds. The same salesperson who greeted me approached me again to offer some help. I was only looking and I didn't want to waste his time, but he insisted I wasn't a bother. After talking about what I was looking we agreed on a pair and I tried them on. They were comfortable and stylish. If it wasn't for the salesperson ( I believe his name was Danny, number on receipt was 46026) I would've walked out empty handed. Products don't always sell themselves, so its important to knowledgeable associates. Danny made the experience pleasant. Like we say at Vans, he made me his "5 minute friend". My shopping experience was near perfect, but the music was way too loud and I had a hard time hearing Danny. Also, I recommend that you guys start wearing name tags, so your shoppers know the names of their salesperson. Its difficult to find great customer service in retail. In most stores I walk in and out without anybody saying a word to me. This is what we strive for at Vans and I hope you guys come in so we can do the same for you! read more

Sneakerheads like myself always flock to new shoe stores, so naturally when this place opened, I had to check it out. The first trip was very successful, as I found a pair of Air Jordan 1 high tops that had been sold out everywhere for months. There they were, sitting on display. They only had a size 12 left, but that's only a half size above what I wear, so they fit fine. I was very happy to find them. Since then, I've found quite a few pairs of sneakers I'm searching for, and Angel, one of the employees there, has always been very cool with me and helpful. He got to know me early on because he knew I was going to be a repeat customer. He learned my name, what I do for a living, what kinds and brands of shoes I like, etc. I like when employees make an effort to get to know their customers, and this place does that well. They always greet everyone who walks in, and they are always on the go, never slacking or lounging around. I recommend them as an alternative to Foot Locker or Champs, especially if you are looking for premium sneakers. They often have pairs long after Foot Locker, Champs and Finish Line have sold out. Was skeptical of coming back to this place after a bad experience with one of the associates a while back. The manager started a conversation with me about my day and I let her know my last experience. I was told that there is a whole new staff in the store and she assured me that she was going to take care of me and my family this time and apologized for the recent visit.. She continued to grab multiple shoes for my kids and also brought options when they didn't have my kids choice. Just went to cop a pair of the Concord 11s and Aaron gave us AMAZING customer service. He was super cool and was quick and helpful. Plus he made us laugh because he was busting a move on the floor and overall gave us a really great experience that I would have given 5 stars until we were close to check out. As we were looking at the shoe I put it on (Not Aaron's fault) and another Employee Joseph came over and was super rude to him about saying that we weren't supposed to try them on. Which I would totally have understood but there just were other ways to say it and then once we said we were buying them handed the shoes to another costumer in there and Aaron had to get his attention to say that we were already buying them. Once we actually got to front of the desk Joseph didn't say two words to us, was content on talking to a female employee about when they can go on break and eat lunch. We didn't even get a hello, or a did you find everything okay. He was also set on hassling other employees rudely. Aaron wished us well before we left and I wish I would have known of someone there I could have talked to to say how great Aaron was. But next time I'll just go to Foot locker. read more

Really good selection of shoes but this one thing ruined the whole experience. My cousins and I went to go buy some converse for my little cousin for her first day of school. We walk in and we ask for a size 6 but all they have is 7, I make a joke with my cousin and say "Tell her to double sock it dude!" And we all laugh and my cousin takes them anyway. The girl goes to ring up my cousin and I stay back with my 2 other cousins while we wait. We laughing and just having a good time and some employee, probably the manager, ask if we need anything. My cousin replies "No thank you, were just waiting on someone" (my cousin). He leaves. I'm standing the corner where the converse shoes are at and I see they have timbs on display and I make a joke with my cousins saying "Wanna get stomped " and we all laugh, having a good time. The guy comes back and says "Y'all done messing with the window?" My cousin says "What was that?" And the guy says "Y'all done touching the window?" And my cousin goes "We didn't even touch the window bro." This guy said it in such a mean tone, and even took off his tag like he wanted to scrap. I would love to come in here as a young woman and feel comfortable in my shopping experience but every time I come in here I wish I was exaggerating, the men that work here are like vultures towards me and my friends. I hate to be that person but every time I come in here they're pervy guys lowkey and always have something to comment. I hate to say it but if you can read body language and you're a woman my age you'd leave the same way I feel every time I come here. Every woman I've spoken too super chill but when it comes to the men I get uncomfortable. I used to shop at this place all the time and spent lots of money here my past experience I bought a pair of Stefan Janoski tennis shoes I wore them the next day to work on an 8 hour shift and found out that the right shoe had a manufacturer defect it was digging into my foot so I took them back and they refused to exchange the shoes just because I wore them its not like I was asking for my money back and how else what I know if there was a defect if I can't wear them.
