We walked in and…read morethere was only one other woman inside of the store and two employees just standing behind the counter chatting. No one greeted us or asked if we needed any help. We continued to walk around the store and still no one said a word to us so we left. I don't know what is going on with businesses today but it just seems to be the policy to ignore customers. I will not give my business to anyone who ignores their customers that bring them business. It's right down rude! So, if you're ok with rude to no service this place is for you other than that do not buy from Shoe Palace.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. An employee told me that I could wear the shoes,…read moresee if they fit comfortably, break them in a bit, and return them if they didn't work out. Based on that information, I purchased the shoes. When I later attempted to return them, I was told the return could not be processed. While I understand that sometimes returns cannot be approved, my issue is with how I was treated. The employee handling the return was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of showing any concern or attempting to provide helpful customer service, she shrugged her shoulders as if she didn't care. It was unprofessional and disrespectful. The problem isn't just that the return was denied--it's that I was given information by an employee that led me to believe returning the shoes would be an option, and then I was treated poorly when I came back to the store. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, even when the answer is no. I hope management addresses both the misinformation and the unacceptable customer service.

The sales people talked amongst themselves and looked at their cellphones. I grabbed a sneaker I wanted, sat, and waited for anyone. I had to get help. I asked for a size 10.5 & the clerk said they only had a 10. When the clerk came back, he said they just got a new shipment in & they have my size. He only gave me one sneaker to try on which I thought was weird. I'm not a hoodlum teenager looking to run out the door & I don't dress like one. When I got home to lace my sneakers the one I didn't try on was scuffed up. I felt duped. So I returned them the next day for an exchanged. Again, I wasn't welcomed. No smiles just faces of disgust. I asked for an exchange. They brought out another pair. This time I inspected them & they were scuffed up too. The clerk had the nerve to say, "Which one you think has less damage & looks better take that one." I said, "No, I'll take the refund. I'm not spending $200 on damaged sneakers." I walked over to Foot Locker to get the same pair, Got 10X better service too.

I was told it was a shoe store and I would have to buy things, then go home to figure out what I want, then drive back to return something I don't want or that don't fit. Really??? How inconvenient is that? Let alone if you have kids and need them to try something on. This is something these stores should have even it's just a stall or two, it wouldn't be hard to do. Just makes me want to spend my money and tell people I know to spend their money elsewhere, like somewhere that might accommodate the customer a little more.
