And the smell of candied nuts is no more. Even the upstairs escalator blocked off. You can still take the elevator up, though. The home decor section that used to be on the west wing of the upstairs is closed off and no longer accessible to the public. Bass Pro ruined this Cabela's location. Two stars for the friendly staff who rang us up, directed us towards the bathroom, and offered to help in the camping section. Other than that, this place is not the happy place it used to be. Even the fish in the tank seem sadder.

I always have such great luck with service and selection. And... prices!!! This trip was no different except my salesman. He was awesome! He was a bit camera shy, but oh so helpful and sweet. Anyways, I walked in asked for the best selection for the court in my size and he showed me the shoes. I was browsing the sale table. I always find something and yes! I found the same shoe in my size on the clearance table with an additional 20% off because they were returned. They were clean and the bottoms were mildly used. I also found a reduced price sandal for $10 brand new in my size. Score! I ended up wearing them all day. Played pickle ball, had a blast, and my feet were comfortable. I will always go to Big 5!!! They are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy, and they have the best prices!! Always checkout the sale table. Check it out for kids and adults.

I was looking for a skateboard for my son. The website only indicated one option. In store there were more than a dozen different boards. Same went for skate shoes. Consumers Beware: If You Value Your Money, Stay Away!…read more My wife and I are local gym owners and personal trainers, we have purchased and assembled tens of thousands of dollars worth of gym equipment in our careers. Sports and Fitness Exchange is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with. I bought one of their own home brand machines that was defective, returned it, and paid them another $300 for a different leg press--also their home brand--only to get another defective product missing parts. They ignored my calls and emails for a week, so I had to drive down there myself with the machine. Instead of making it right, they blamed me for the missing pieces and said "they get this all the time, where customers say they are missing parts" and I should've paid $399 for "expert assembly." That's nothing but an excuse to dodge responsibility and squeeze more money out of customers. This wasn't some used or third-party product--they sell and represent this brand as their own, yet still refuse to stand behind it. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. Sports & Fitness Exchange. Absolute nightmare.

These guys are the biggest scumbags in the industry and will try to take advantage of you any way…read morethey can. I purchased two items from this store online-- a lateral shoulder raise which was a 'pre-order', and a Technogym unit. The former was placed on 10/16/2023 and I have not received it as of 12/20/2023. They mentioned delivery within 90 days which was fine, however, they refused to update me on the status of anything that was happening on their end. After sending several e-mails inquiring about the status of my order, I was finally told it was scheduled to arrive to their warehouse early February of next year. This means I would not get it until mid-Feb at the earliest. A 4-month wait for a piece of strength equipment? Imagine all the gains I've already lost. I responded stating I wanted a refund as they would not be able to deliver on time. I received a generic response from the crackhead across the screen stating that I would have to pay a "15% restocking fee." How does that make any sense given the context of this situation? This is not an item that I ordered, received, and no longer want. This is an item that your company has failed to deliver on, and had you been able to provide better customer service, I might have actually waited until February. As for the Technogym unit I ordered, the cable came completely worn out and damaged; the weight stacks were not even properly assembled. I submitted an inquiry for this in October and, once again, after several weeks of correspondence, they stated they would send me a replacement cable. As of this writing, no such replacement cable is in my hands... Avoid this company at all costs. Unethical, unprofessional, criminal.
