Customer service sucked.! The 3 employees Andrew; and 2 females which one was the manager thought it was funny that they told me I could return an item because the MANAGER gave the ok and said it was good but when it came to no receipt ((which I told them I didn't have from the start because it was a GiFT)); told me they couldn't do it. I should have been able to just show my ID and get store credit but the workers insisted they needed a receipt but per the POLiCY; I could have just showed my ID and got store credit. The customer service here was terrible we literally had to search the store to find an associate and they didn't help us they called someone who kept leaving us to help others so we had to wait in between even though we were there first. I had to ask for machine to determine foot size and he looked like it was a bother got it and sort of tossed it on the floor in front of us then left again. We needed some last minute sport items for one of the kiddos and decided to use that time to check out this newest Dick's location. Parking was easy and I loved that the store was one story. The location is large, well organized and it was easy to find what we were looking for with signage and layout. Prices are what you expect from Dick's and some things run pretty pricy. I'd definitely watch sales etc. if you're on a budget. Service was meh. We weren't greeted or asked if we needed any help throughout our visit. Store is nice and clean. Selection is great. HOWEVER, the girl at the register, Melany, checking out my items, had a trash attitude not sure why. I was being polite and nice and she did not make eye contact, wasn't friendly and overall cold. I was trying to inquire about the rewards program and see what kind of rewards we were getting and I was getting short quick answers like she was getting sick of explaining anything . It felt super awkward, I asked to use military discount and she said she'd add it to my purchase. It was not added and I didn't wanna deal with her bad attitude so I didn't go back but damn, who hurt her?? Also the way she slammed my receipt into the bag was wild and her energy was off. A new look for a Dick's outlet. Well defined interest areas with a lot of stock on hand. Great improvement with a expanded golf area with the latest new equipment. Lots of sport shoes. Employees approach you with a smile and ask if they can help. Hopefully this keeps up in the long run. read more

Just visited this newly opened store in Surprise, AZ. Looks like the store is focusing mostly on athletic clothing with some emphasis on sporting goods.....somewhat disappointing for a retailer that should have more non -clothing merchandise. Probably won't return unless I need clothing. read more

Just left this location extremely dissatisfied with their lack of customer service. Decided to come here instead of going all the way to Peoria. Came in with a mission to finally get my OC shoes if $160 and some baseball items for my son. Followed the young lady around with a shoe in hand waiting for her to attend me after she stopped attending someone else, when an older couple came up and asked her if there was another person working. She responded with she was the only one and she could help them, completely overlooking the fact that I was obviously standing there waiting to be helped. I put the shoe down and walked away. I will take my $300 transaction elsewhere. I get she's the only one working this area but acknowledge customers by saying you'll be right with them and don't take another customer over another who has been waiting. I hope there was no other reason other than poor customer service skills. read more
