Went in to look at chicks and Matt was super helpful. He answered all my ridiculous questions and gave advice. When it came to choosing the chicks is when I ran into a problem. Someone had moved the chicks around and didn't label them correctly. My daughter fell in love with some chicks, come to find out they aren't good for what we need. Which was a huge bummer. read more

I asked for help in the vaccination twice didn't get any help from employers an employee that wasn't even on shift went and got associates to help with vaccinations and finally got help never had bad service at this place until today. saw online that they had a great deal on Norma 124 full metal jacket ammunition. Ordered a case of it only to have it sit in processing for three days in the meantime,... They raise the price 50% canceled my order and decided they could sell it to somebody else for more money so screw me. As far as I'm concerned that's a pretty crappy way to do business they gave me some BS excuse about being out of stock of the ammunition for shipment, except I know for a fact people who plays their orders after I did I've got their tracking numbers and their orders are being shipped. Not that they care, but it's good to know what kind of people I WONT be doing business with in the future. read more

Thought last time was maybe a fluke when cashier rudely took a call and cut me off mid transaction. Nope. This time I brought up a basket of dog chews that had been sitting in the middle of the aisle (on the floor no less!)since it was easier than trying to scatter all in my basket. I told my cashier I was only trying to buy the treats. Another useless cashier who was just standing there while I struggled with heavy bags felt it her duty to nastily snarl that the basket wasn't for sale. The only reason I come here and drive 30 min out of my way is to get a specific dog food. Soon as I find another supplier I'm done with these entitled crappy people who don't appreciate good business. Shameful. read more

No one offered to help with my bale of hay or my bags of feed and when I was checking out I accidentally grabbed the wrong hay didn't noticed till the price difference showed up but when I questioned it the lady working there very rudely pointed to the tie and said no it's Timothy..clearly I grabbed the wrong one and I wanted the alfalfa but mrs plane Jane who hates her job wasn't going to offer to help me with my mistake. Unfortunatly Calranch has gone through much effort to present an amazing shopping experience but the managment has apparently not been through any customer service training. When they are willing to lose a sail over 15.00 after being unable to find a SKU for thirty minutes then trying to tell the customer the item is one thing that is 20.00 more, when it is clearly not that thing. And with clear on line evidence it is not ... they dig there heals in and refuse to sell it for the price it should have been or at least for a good customer experience just sell it for what half a dozen other stores are carrying it at. I was in the Goodyear store looking for some special dog food for a new dog. I passed a young lady restocking and organizing the refrigerator that houses all the vaccinations for dogs ,horses, and cattle. I stopped and ask her if they had the Rhino shot for horses. We had bought a vaccine without it because everyone was out of stock around the Phoenix Metro valley. She looked and could not find any, I thanked her and continued shopping. About 15 minutes later she tracked my wife and I down and stated that she had found two vaccines . She said she had gone out in the parking lot looking for us and found us in the feed section in the store. I must say this is such a refreshing experience. Most places would not go out of there way to provide this type of exceptional customer service. We left with everything i was looking for with a big smile on my face. I would recommend this store to everybody. Great store , very clean, well organized, great employees, easy access, and you will be like a kid in a candy store. I am a customer for life read more

We don't come here often but we make special trips here for ammo. Most stores near us are always out of the ammo my husband uses except for C-A-L Ranch. They also don't have long lines to buy guns or ammos. We're usually in and out in 5-10 minutes! The staff is really friendly here and quick to help. read more

They send out coupons but when you try to use them they say they are expired! I received a 20% off coupon by mail because we just moved to the area, I took the coupon into the store asked one employee if I could use it on a tool box, he said YES! We get tool box to the check out and the cashier says NO! What the hell?? I literally received that coupon last week. Don't mail out expired coupons!!! Store recently changed their point of sale system and released it with known glitches. If you're the unlucky one who gets a glitch then the check out process grinds to a halt for you and everyone in line behind you. Store manager needs to be called. She needs to get the number for support. Call is made to support. Manager argues with support that she was instructed to call them. Support argues back that it's not the right process. Manager argues that she's not been given another process. Support says that she can reboot the system. Manager says she was told to call support to do that. You stand there, mouth open, trying to keep that little filter gate in place that starts screaming and cussing because all you want to do is GTFO. In the end, support and manager decide to tolerate each other long enough to verify if your credit card has been charged. At this point, you can decide to do the only thing you have the power to do ... make sure you didn't pay a dime and WALK OUT OF THE STORE. Whilst waiting, the disenchanted staff twirl their hair and roll their eyes and tell you this happens "fifty times a day." Overall it's not a bad store, but there are other stores (TSC, I'm looking at you!) that sell the same kind of merchandise for the same prices. read more

My first time here... and my LAST! I would give a negative star if I could. The employees, I dealt with (3), were very rude. I was there to purchased some vaccines for my puppy. I was pointed in their "direction" and was told that someone would be called to unlock the refrigerated case. 10 minutes later an employee came over and asked what I wanted. No "hi, how are you today?, how can I help you today?" nothing! And every question I asked, received a rude one word response. I was like, forget it. Get me out of this place! And the cashiers all had scowls on their faces like they did not want to be there. When I approached the counter, I was ignored while two employees barked back and forth with each other about who's going to answer the phone. Very unprofessional. I have been going to this store ever since it's opening. Today I went to find a pair of new shoes. I found a pair of Ariat Cruisers in a style that was the last one left. I opened the box to find a Christmas tag still attached with To: Naomi. I tried looking for another pair, there were none. I asked a manager named, Karol or Karen, if she would give me a discount cuz the Christmas tag is on it and it appeared used. The manager was so rude, instead of saying something like, no I am sorry I can't. She straight out said "NO, why would I give you a discount?? Here, (as she cut off the tag,) they are new now". At first I thought she was joking cuz she was so blunt. I told her she was rude, she didn't care, I asked to speak to the store manager. The store manager came up and he could care less. Today like many other times I wandered in while in the area , unfortunately unlike the other times today was less than satisfactory. I have purchased many items ranging from several firearms , ammo, dog supplies, and clothes for my self and others. On the way to the cash wrap we stopped at the CLEARANCE aisle . On the end cap was a cast iron set with an 8.5 x 11 red CLEARANCE sign taped to it . My other half liked it so for the price I said I'd buy it for her. Go to pay and it rings up at over 3x advertised . Involved manager ANDY , walked all over the store and he refused to honor their price on and item on the clearance aisle . I understand it may have been a mistake but own your mistake and fix it after. Perhaps I'll just stick to sportsman's Warehouse down the road . read more
