My first time shopping here. I rarely review stores. I ordered six pairs of pants on line and came in to have my hubby try on a longer size. His usual length of 32 was too short. A young man near the entrance greeted us and proceeded to help us find and replace what we had, and do all the complexities of returns exchanges and price adjustments to meet the price I got online. We had a great experience at American Eagle Outfitters today. My daughter is very slim, so we often struggle to find clothes that fit her correctly. We had to wait 40 minutes to use the dressing room, but the girl working there was fantastic. She was really helpful in explaining how the different styles would fit, and she went out of her way to get us different sizes. Thanks to her help, we found 2 pairs of shorts for just $99. We rated it 3 for the long wait and less than helpful employees around the store when we were looking for shorts. read more

Ordered item online yesterday and it gave me option to pick up in store next day instead of shipping 3-4 business days. I chose instore pick up next day even though 2 hours drive round trip. Item for daughter birthday. Get to store and they say not available in store being shipped to store, will get an email when it arrives Even though says online it's available until 7 pm today for pick up. This place lacks proper management. Came into the store to return an online purchase. The store was messy and disorganized. I had to walk around before I finally found the cash wrap which was in the center on the store with heaps of clothing piled on it. Several employees were moving around the sales floor working on go-backs etc...but there were none working the registers. No clear spot to line up, until some snotty teen girl snapped at me to stand at an arrow sticker on the floor between two clothing racks. Also told I needed to create an account to process return. You have my order invoice and credit card, what more do you need??!? read more

I have never had issues until the last two visits for an order placed online. The first time I came to pick up part of the order and one young lady stated I should wait for the entire order and another minutes later asked me what I was in for I advised what I was originally in for and she disagreed and said it will be put back that I should grab it. They then cancelled the other three items on 11/4 I called them asking if I could please keep it until 11/7 they said that was fine I saw I had been refunded then recharged for those three items and they then tried to charge me again I have my two kids with level 3 ASD which is very challenging as is but when attempting to show the manager my bank account she could seemly care less and let me take it up with customer service. Not only is it questionable business practices but a lack of professionalism and empathy for the fact that I needed support and you have my money. read more

My wife and I were shopping at the mall, and we're going to look in American Eagle. One of their employees stopped us at the door, and demanded to know what we were going to buy. We said we were looking, and he said we cloud not look around, but had to tell him what we were buying. Now bear in mind that we are retired, nicely dressed and polite. It appeared from the employee and those who were in the store, that we were simply being harassed because we are white. read more

I've been purchasing clothes in American Eagle for years and from today I don't believe I'll return at least not to this location. When the employee offered the credit card we provided an ID from Puerto Rico and before even verifying she said that she couldn't process it because American eagle doesn't exist in Puerto Rico or Mexico, saying that this is only available in USA. First of all employees should be aware on where you have stores before opening their mouth, second of all I don't even understood why she had to mention Mexico. There are ways to express things without being rude or racist, it was so simple to just verify and if it wasn't available just say it and apologize. read more

American eagle is literally the worst store that I've ever shopped at. I cannot even begin to explain the most disrespectful people that work there not to mention the fact every time that I go there after the hundreds and hundreds of dollars that I spent in there they literally sit there and have a problem with absolutely everything I can never go and buy anything without there being an issue. I am very dissatisfied and I will never shop there again and I will make sure that everyone I speak to knows what a horrible store this is. read more

American eagle is my favorite clothing store. We went shopping there today and my fiancé got a new shirt and I did some shopping in aerie everyone is always very helpful and eager to talk to you. The manger in the dressing room was very kind and even helped us pick out the best shirt. It sucks that they don't have more sizes in the back but they offer to help you find anything online. The store is tidy and always pretty busy I love the music and atmosphere! read more

The store was clean and easy to navigate, and the staff was super helpful! I needed to get some jeans before a vacation, and knew this was the place to go! Two people who really stood out to me were Micah and Arilyn!! They were extremely kind and helpful, and had great personalities too! This store is the most amazing customer experience service I have ever had in a retail shopping experience thus far. AYAH was so warm and welcoming and immediately offered me assistance when I was there. I had been bra shopping, and as a woman who has an athletic build, small tits and hates wearing bras she was there to answer any and all questions I had and even recommended a pull over bra that is a total game changer my friends. Yes a bra that has no clasp, just a soft satin backing that you literally just throw on over and it is so so so soft and keeps your ta-tas in ample shape. She even helped me pick out some incredible jeans which are also excruciating for me to shop for and tough for me to find as a lot of jeans now a days are for fashion only and not at all practical OR sustainable. The dream Jean is incredible. If you can't find your size they will order them online and ship them to you at no additionally cost. A few of the other girls were super sweet and helpful and didn't make me feel bad for going to the fitting room multiple times. I didn't catch their names but I def appreciate their assistance. Who ever is running this shop must be doing something right because from the experience I had there, I was def pleasantly surprised and didn't at all feel like i was annoying them or a bother.
