This December my son wanted a suit for Christmas so we checked out the Arrowhead Towne Center. I…read moredecided to try Dillard's first and to move our way through the mall. We roamed around the suits and menswear section in Dillards for quite a while and didn't receive any help or find a suit that would fit him ourselves. There wasn't a soul in sight. We decided to leave and try Macy's or another big department store. We exited Dillard's into the mall. One of the first stores we passed caught my eye as I look towards the right. It said "Nick's Menswear" and it had suits in the window. I was assuming the prices will be higher than Dillard's which were substantially high, but I decided to give it a try. When my son and I walked in, we were greeted by Daniel, who explained all of the different options, and what he thought would be the biggest bang for our buck. He was extremely friendly and helpful. I explained my son was flying out the next day and to my surprise, he said the suit would be ready by that night if we so desired. I was expecting an exorbitant fee for this, but was again surprised that only a $25 rush fee. was added. We found a black suit with Daniel's help, and he proceeded to pin the suit for the tailor to take it. We were told to come back in an hour, and the suit would be ready. There are changing rooms in the back and the sales clerks help hang the suits when customers are exiting the dressing room. We discovered this after we returned once an hour had passed, and a new sales clerk helped my son try on his altered suits, and make sure that it had been hemmed to his specifications. I didn't catch this clerks name, but he was also great and gave such good service. The suit that we chose consisted of a blazer, a vest, and a pair of slacks. The alterations to the trouser were $20 for the hem, $25 for the trouser taper, $20 for the waste, and $30 to bring the sides in of the jackets. In total our bill was $403.92 for a complete suit, altered and hemmed within the hour, and ready for pick up. Let me just say the blazers alone at Dillard's were over $400 and that was not including alterations. On top of this, the service was exemplary. We really enjoyed Daniel's friendly banter and he was dressed to the nines in a very dapper suit with groomed beard and hair and masculine jewelry. One of the fun things about going into this clothing store was that all of the sales clerks were dressed up very nice like this. I will definitely return here first for any additional suits or menswear shopping that I have in the future. Recently, my son wore his suit out to a function in North Carolina and said that it fit great. Thank you, Nick's Menswear!

This experience started out very poorly but ended on a much better note…read more I purchased a dress from the juniors department less than 30 days ago for a wedding. The dress was never worn, and when I returned it within Dillard's return window, Gabriella, the Business Manager of Juniors, immediately took an accusatory tone and said the dress was "dirty," refusing a refund and offering only store credit. She pointed out the area she believed was dirty, but neither my husband nor I could see what she was referring to. When I explained the dress had never been worn and was in the same condition as when I bought it, she insisted it would not have been sold that way. She later confirmed she had been the one who sold it to me. I left feeling frustrated and wrongly accused. Thankfully, Cher, a Brand Manager, noticed we were upset and stepped in. After hearing what happened, she involved store manager Daryl, who apologized, reviewed the situation, and immediately gave a full refund back to my card. Without Cher stepping in, this likely would not have been resolved. We were ready to leave and never return. Instead, her compassion and Daryl's professionalism completely turned things around. Cher and Daryl are the reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 1. Thank you both for making things right.

My wife and I recently stopped by the MAC counter at Macy's Arrowhead while she was shopping for a…read moredate night outfit and looking for some new makeup. I felt compelled to leave a review because the level of service we experienced from Arisa was genuinely exceptional. The time, care, and attention Arisa gave went far beyond what you would expect from a typical retail experience. She was not focused on simply selling products and moving on to the next customer. What I watched was someone who truly wanted to create an experience and make sure every want, expectation, and concern was heard. What stood out most was that it was not about finding the most products for my wife, but rather the right products. Arisa took the time to understand exactly what my wife was looking for and thoughtfully guided her toward a handful of items that truly fit her needs and style. From a male perspective, as someone who does not buy makeup but absolutely values great customer service, Arisa is exactly what you would hope for from a brand like MAC. She represents professionalism, patience, and genuine care for the customer experience. Macy's and MAC are lucky to have her at the Arrowhead location.

I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. My experience at the Macy's in Glendale was…read moreextremely disappointing from start to finish. The store was dirty, disorganized, and poorly maintained, and the customer service was among the worst I have experienced in retail. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and made me feel like assisting customers was an inconvenience to them. The management was just as disappointing. I honestly questioned how some of these managers were placed in their positions because there was very little professionalism, accountability, or genuine concern for customers. The jewelry department was particularly frustrating. The customer service was terrible, and the overall experience left me feeling completely unwelcome. Customers should not be treated as though they are bothering employees or judged based on how much they may or may not spend. Especially the manager Trashy Stacey! A retail store should make customers feel respected, valued, and comfortable--not judged or looked down upon. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Macy's Glendale seriously needs to address its customer service, management, cleanliness, organization, and overall treatment of customers. There are plenty of other places where you can spend your money and be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Will file a complaint with BBB as well! My recommendation: take your business elsewhere.
