I have been spending most of my time from sunrise to sunset cooking from scratch in the kitchen. I have always been a barefoot around the house gal. It has been taking it's toll. My neurologist said not to be running around barefoot. The front pad of my foot by my toes were so sore. I was using a chair to get relief while working in the kitchen. The staff at this location are so friendly. I was able to get inserts made for my shoes to take that pressure off. Instant gratification just like my had. Highly recommend. read more

I called looking for a specific shoe, I have them the brand, color and size, was told "yep we have it in stock" I dropped what I was doing and drove over 30 min to get there to find out it's the wrong shoe! My mother and I went into this Foot Solutions earlier today to help my mother's plantar fasciitis. We went into the store and the sales associate that helped us was friendly at first. He gave us many tips to help with plantar fasciitsis. He helped my mom try on lots of shoes and talked about buying the insoles. But the shoes and the special insoles were freaking expensive! If you go into this store, expect to pay well over $500. So my mom decided she needed to go home and figure out if she had the money to buy these products. The sales associate (who turned out to be the owner) then switched off his nice guy act. As soon as we said we needed to go home, he then became extremely rude to us. He told us that we had wasted his time. He didnt like that he had "wasted information" on my mom by giving her tips to help her plantar fasciitis. No matter how many times my mom apologized and said that she wasnt intending to waste his time, he became more and more rude. She even told him she would be back, and he responded with "Yeah, psh. Thats what they all say." She said she was sorry again. He said "Yeah, whatever!" I have never been treated this way ever! We will never ever go back to this store. We had intended to buy something, but this man ruined it with his horrible reaction. But, I would recommend going to the Foot Solutions on N. Scottsdale. They were very helpful and extremely friendly. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. The owner is RUDE and will get angry at you for "wasting his time" if you don't buy something. read more

I have very bad feet and had a knee replacement recently. When none of my shoes worked for me, I went to Foot Solutions on Thunderbird. They found me a pair that made it where I can walk comfortably all day at work, and now I am taking long walks in my neighborhood. I went back and got more shoes. They can even fit you with Orthotics that will make your older shoes fit better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They know their stuff! read more

Great place to get the right shoe. Knowledgeable staff who are very patient. No pressure sales. This is the first time in my life I will have the right shoe size. I have very wide feet. Most shoe stores will push a larger shoe so they'll "fit." This place take time to get you in a shoe that fits length, width, arch support, everything. While it's more expensive to get the right shoe, it's worth every dollar. Investing in your health is worth it! You do get what you pay for! I will be back soon. My sister must of tried on 10 pairs of sandals and they ended up not having the color she wanted. They called a store nearby & held the sandals for her. The salesperson was very helpful and accommodating, so that was not the problem. I declined the $300.00 insoles but settled for the $77.00 insoles and bought Brooks Dyad 8 running shoes. I needed a good shoe to help with the Plantar Fasciitis. For the shoes and the insoles I spent over $200.00 and I wouldn't mind if they worked. But I hate, hate, hate the shoes. They are the most uncomfortable shoes I ever bought. I tried to take the insoles out, but it didn't make a difference. It was not the sales person's fault. But I will not go back. I just got a pair of shoes to wear to my silver sneaker classes (as mine were totally demolished) with all the walking that I do everyday, in ADDITION to my Silver Sneakers class workouts!!!). These will last a very long time. I loved the care that the employees give you. I had Mark wait on me and he went through at least 10 pairs of shoes before we found just the right one that fit just right! I've been going to foot solutions on thunderbird for years, mainly for myself but also for my brother with cerebral palsy & my mother I just got her some really comfortable, skid resistant slippers that she loves. But Mark and the team have never let me down ! I'm on my feet a minimum of 8 hrs a day & need reliable shoes . I have had planters in the past but has subsided with the proper shoes . I have Achilles tendentious and arthritis and a lot of swelling along with it so it is a challenge to find right shoes for me . But Foot Solutions is my safe place that I know Mark and team Will find what I need . And time is no issue they do whatever it takes to find what I need , as well as order it if I need a different color. The service & care here is outstanding and I always recommend them to everyone I know. It seems a lot of people have sore feet and if you spend $40 on a pair of shoes it may make them worse . Very expensive, $219 for 1 pair, that hurt my feet. Very disappointed. Can't wear these shoes! Thought this store would be the answer to my problems. Just an expensive diversion. This was my third purchase. The first pair of sport shoes they sold me was a rocker tennis shoe. I'm 75yo with an ankle replacement. I could not keep my balance wearing these. I have had planter fasciitis for 3 or 4 months tried everything from rolling golf balls ice bottles night splint ... went into this location and Mark Pencala was absolutely amazing. Understood my problem and fitted me with sandals and shoes and inserts and I feel relief already.
