I went to Skechers today to buy a couple of pair of shoes. I was a little reluctant to go after reading some of these reviews, but I really wanted to buy some sketchers so I went. The store was very organized and I picked out a couple of pair of shoes, but the size was wrong. So I looked for an associate To get some help. I went up to this young girl and she looked up at me with a smile on her face and said "can I help you? " I said yes I need to find these shoes but in a smaller size she said "I'll help you with that " her name was Amanda, she went above and beyond helping me, climbing that ladder finding the right sizes searching for the other pair of shoes throughout the store. She was a young and professional person. She is definitely an asset to your company and gives great customer service. I will definitely tell my friends and family about the nice service that I got there and the beautiful shoes that I bought. read more

I just had a great shopping experience at our Sketchers Outlet store on Bell Rd (77th). Due to physical limitations I ask for help to save steps/time. I was greeted when I came in & asked for Women's Wide section. She answered with a smile & when I didn't hear everything she repeated w/ patience you don't often see anymore. One Star - Extremely Disappointed with Store Manager's Behavior I've been a loyal Skechers customer for years, but my recent experience at the Glendale, AZ location (7720 W Bell Rd) on 7/13/2025 left me shocked and disappointed. I visited the store with a simple question--where is the wide shoe section? When I asked the store manager, she responded curtly that she was helping someone else and immediately turned and walked away without any further acknowledgment. Her tone was unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which caught us off guard for such a basic question. When we later approached her to express how her behavior made us feel disrespected, instead of apologizing or clarifying, she doubled down on the attitude and told us to leave her store. I couldn't believe that level of unprofessionalism came from someone in a managerial role. This is not how any customer should be treated, especially by someone who is supposed to set the standard for customer service. I hope Skechers takes this feedback seriously, because experiences like this make customers think twice about supporting the brand. read more

FALSE ADVERTISING. They don't honor their sales that are literally printed on their f***ing signs that are posted in several areas in the store. This sign literally says "2 for $50" and the guy kept saying that we had to "buy a 3rd pair to get the 50% off"...but that is NOT the same as 2 for $50...WTF?! Couldn't tell us which shoes this particular sale was for, and then he proceeded to say that it was only for toddler shoes, despite the sign being posted all over the whole kids section, literally in every aisle. We had to dispute this several times and gave up and left. read more

Granted it's a huge warehouse style store, but good luck with finding a salesperson to help you. There were over 30 people shopping when I was there last, but not one employee on the floor for the two hours I was there. read more

The employees are rude and act like they don't have the time of day to assist you even with a basic question. I don't have the name of the associate who rang us out but I do have their employee number on the receipt. She did not seem to want to be there and I could not tell if she was talking on her earphones, or the radio but she couldn't give us the time of day. Many shoes were BOGO and we chose shoes from that section, however when we got to the register we were told they were not included in the sale. That's fine, we were needing shoes anyway and we're fine with paying full price. It seems like many of the advertisements are poorly displayed and misleading. I will never shop at this store again due to the rudeness of sales representative (claimed to be manager) named Elyssa and manager Jacob. I'd never realized this location was here until my son came home telling me he needed some nonslip shoes for work. This location sit right next to Trader Joe's and is easy to spot from the street. While the location was large, clean and had a lot of selection I was very unimpressed with the service or I should say lack there of when we came in. While I saw two employees, neither one greeted us in any way. We wandered the store for a moment until we found what we needed and made our way to the counter to check out. No one was at the register and we had to stand quite a few minutes before someone noticed. This was looking like a three star experience max until the woman who helped us turned the entire trip around. She was friendly, funny and went out of her way to make sure we got the discount for my sons employer. I appreciate that. We were also told they offer a loyalty program you can sign up for to earn points towards cash off purchases. read more

We were on the way to the mall and my mom wanted to stop at Skecher's hearing they have comfy shoes for walking. Located right outside the mall made it the perfect opportunity to stop in. Large spacious clean well organized store. Shoes, bags, sunglasses, socks, rollerskates for all ages made it super fun. The employees here are super friendly, but are not going to be all up in your grill as they say now- a-days. Hee hee Need assistance just ask. On their website it is called Skecher's Factory Outlet. Signage outside says Skecher's Outlet. When we hear outlet we think of lower pricing and savings. Coming in with that mindset you will be disappointed. Same prices as they have online. My mom found some walking shoes she enjoyed which were $109.00. Coming from the 50s that isn't going to happen. They do have a large clearance section in the back with markdowns. She found a pair for $30 more up her alley. Our older tot is going through a tongue in the shoe bothering her ankle phase. They had some cute what they call "Foamies" simular to Croc's. I picked a pair up in clearance for $20 for our youngest. She doesn't want to take them off. They even light up. The store didn't have any any in our older daughter's size. I recommend shopping around if your budget conscious online while there as some items you can find less expensive online or by using perks like signing up for emails and texts. These perks are more generous on their website vs the %10 off your next purchase signing up in the store when checking out. I have friends who spend over $1000 on shoes. If something lasts and is comfy or special to you then it is worth it. The Skecher's shoes I purchased in the past for our oldest didn't last and decorations would fall and peel off within a week. It has been over 8 years. I am going to see how my mom's shoes treat her and the Foamies on our little one. If they perform well I will be getting the walking shoes for my mom's birthday. $45 for shoes at our girls age as fast as they are growing now aren't worth it to me as they are growing so fast. Though if they perform better than in the past it might just be worth having a little extra fun bling if comfy. I am fascinated how shoes these days are so light and airy. It makes me feel like they are cheap and over priced, but it may consist of amazing lasting comfy material. Can't wait to see how they perform. The store itself is very nice. read more

Do not spend money at this place. Looking at the reviews from the past few months, customer service seems to be their issue. I did a return today for shoes and was treated like I was such an inconvenience by the cashier. She told me to sign my slip and never asked is there anything else she could help with, or to have a good day. Just basically dismissed me. I walked out and told "get some customer service, for real." And she sarcastically said "bye!" Her employee number on my receipt is 127875. Fire her and give someone a job who needs it. read more

I was in Skechers today and there was a pair of pool shoes flip-flops that were priced in the bargain rack at $45. They were obviously very used. Had a lot of dirt on them on the bottom. I wanted a discount and the person only would give me 10%. She made me wait while she chatted on the phone with someone and then she said no only 10%. I know they will never sell these for $40 as they are soiled and not that valuable. I asked for 20%. She said no 10%. I'm sure they will go in the scrap heap. Thanks a lot for your customer service. We shopped today for shoes at the Sketchers store on Bell rd. for my husband. If you like not being bothered this is the place. Everyone must of been busy stocking the shelves I guess. We had to hunt someone down for help. And we had to wait for someone to come and ring us up at the register. I wonder if the younger generation are they just afraid to speak to folks. They cant make eye contact, they mumble when they speak and if you ask questions they don't know how to answer at times. I have been in the costumer service industry my entire working adult life. I understand with Covid protocols and everything how frustrating it can be. But that does not mean the customer should not come first, especially when I could easily take my business elsewhere and somewhere more convenient in this day and age. Spent some time walking around the store trying to find non slip shoes because I know sketchers sells them and them come highly recommended. I saw no employees around as I looked, but nbd, I am in no rush and I have the time. Luckily, an employee found me first. However instead of intuiting that I was looking for something and first asking how I am doing or if there is anything he can help me with he says "excuse me, do you have a mask?" We cannot let our protocols change our principles or core values. Customer service jobs should still but customer first, always. Now if I had been approached with a simple how are you, or are you finding everything alright? Or any sort of greeting other than "excuse me do you have a mask" you may have retained my business. However I choose where to spend my money, and I don't believe I will be spending it on your over priced shoes especially when you are more concerned about protocols than actually trying to keep people in your stores. I had a mask, around my neck by the way. I do it that way when running errands because I am forgetful when it comes to material objects hence why I forgot to put it back on. Had I been treated differently, I would have stayed. I understand this is a trying time, but a simple greeting goes a long way. You need to look into lowering your prices for your sub par shoes if your customer service is going to lack as well. read more

We shopped today at the Skechers, Arrowhead West Bell Road (Glendale, Arizona) store. The customer service we received was excellent! Every Skechers employee we spoke to was very much interested in meeting our needs but special kudos go to Alicia, the store manager who, clearly, manages very well, knows her product exceptionally well, and who expressed genuine interest in attending to the needs of her customers. We will definitely be recommending this store to others and plan to return as the need arises. read more

This is about the Thomas Rd. & 40th St. outlet. The sign showing the Christmas hours said it opened at 11 am for that day. (It also said 11 am for non-Christmas hours). We waited several minutes for it to open. When we finally gave up around 11:25 am, there were other people sitting in their cars waiting for the store to open. I have been in the store 4 times in the last month. I have asked the staff for assistance multiple times. They go "look things up on the computer " and never come back. Good customer service. I have purchased several pairs of shoes and not once in the last month been asked if I had the membership, I also asked them to order a pair of shoes that they had in the store but not the right color. Worst location by far I have ever been to & they obviously don't want the business. First off all, I was a regular & loyal customer at the mall location when it was inside the mall. No matter how busy it was, they had a great inventory & were always attentive & helpful. In all the years I went there, I never walked out empty handed. Now they are on the outside of the mall & much bigger. We were doing our annual shopping binge at the new spot & even though the store was empty, the people working there did not want to help anyone. I went in with a list of 4 styles I wanted to purchase & could not get any of the 3 sales staff to assist me. The first person I approached after several minutes of searching, reluctantly showed me where one item was & left. The only problem was the inventory for it was stocked at least ten feet overhead so I would have had no way of actually trying anything on. I guess he thought I just wanted to look at & admire the display & nothing more. I then found another employee who said they did have my size in stock, but he couldn't find it on the floor & thought it may be in the back. It wasn't & he immediately left. I thought I'd then ask about the the 3 other styles I was planning to buy, but wasn't about to go track down yet another unwilling employee to get them. They obviously didn't want to be bothered! Ended up walking out with nothing because no one wanted to get the 4 pairs of shoes down that we wanted to buy. We will find another location in the future. Customer service in this store is severely lacking & perhaps if they don't want to help customers or make sales, they shouldn't stock the items so far overhead that customers can't help themselves.
