Excellent customer service. Took my rollator in today as the brake wire broke. Thought I'd have to wait while they sent for a part, luckily they had what I needed on hand, fixed it and I got it back the same day. They even helped put it on my car for me. They were great at First. Wanted the sale and product (instock) shipped in-state takes a week? That was last Friday we still dont have it, now it shows for Friday delivery). Poor customer service, unlike their moto, we were expecting a CPAP machine delivered within 2 days. USPS had no updates with tracking #. I wanted treatment, like we mattered. Requested a new machine be overnighted I'll even give new payment and return unopened one if and when it ever gets delivered. No go. My Mom is too important so we are one and done. If you don't need or expect good service than this is the place for you. "We understand that when most customers need medical equipment, they need it right away." So when my husband needed compression socks for our long drive back to California we were sure to go there. REBEKAH was amazing!! My mom, husband and I owe a great debt of gratitude to the staff at the Peoria AZ MediQuip location for making my father's final days so much more comfortable. Battling lymphoma, COPD and Paget's disease (a rare bone condition) had taken a toll on his considerable strength, and we were not obtaining medical scrips for a wheelchair and oxygen fast enough to address his quickly deteriorating condition. I had told Dad about MediQuip, as Mom and I had stopped in to take a look at wheelchairs, and he decided he didn't want to wait for approval to gain a little more comfort, mobility and dignity. On that first day when we went in and talked to Al, Dad bought a wheelchair. Later that week, I brought him back to select a home oxygen conversion unit ... and he sent me back the next day to get the portable version. My dad (also named Al) found Al at MediQuip to be a person whose knowledge and integrity he trusted. Although most of our interactions were with Al, we also were assisted by Becca, Bethany and Viki and were impressed by everyone's knowledge of the products as well as by their personable, professional manner and their no-pressure approach. Each of this store's associates interacted with us as if they had all the time in the world to answer our many questions and determine which products would be most beneficial. Although I am sad to share that my father died only a couple of weeks after deciding to purchase this equipment, it made his quality of life so much better for those last days ... and for that our family is immensely grateful. We were very happy with the lift recliner that we rented after my father broke his pelvis. It was clean and worked great. Only giving three stars though because my husband had to help the one person who came to deliver the large heavy chair and he almost threw his back out. And then the company charged my father twice, and said it was the credit card company's fault! (The credit card company was very clear that AZ MediQuip charged the card twice within a minute of each other and then didn't refund the second charge.) If you're going to use them, be sure to watch your bill! read more

I urgently needed a CPAP machine and found AZ MediQuip in Peoria Arizona that stocked my brand. I met Al who gave me excellent information on the available machines they carried. The price of my machine was 20% lower than another medical supply store in the area. Al was extremely knowledgeable of the products and explained how I could keep my machine clean with a modest investment in a SoClean 2 which I purchased at a fraction of the cost of my CPAP. When I got home and unpacked the equipment, I felt I was missing a part. I called Al and he was happy to assist me by dropping the part off to me on his way home that evening. I looked more carefully and found the part that rolled off of, and then under, my bed. To save Al the trip I called him back and thanked him for a service that was above and beyond required and he assured me he was happy to service his customers in any way he could. So, although the whole experience of renting a knee scooter did not fare well at all, I must say that the Manager Jennifer.....my word Mediquip DO NOT let her get away!!!! She called me to apologize for the condition of the scooter that we had rented, explaining it was the last one...which i get it that was neither here nor there of what the issue was. She was shocked to learn that the associate had not supplied my husband with a pad for the worn out seat that my old knee would rest on and apologized profusely. She then put the pad in the mail right then so i would have some comfort. She also went above and beyond comping some rental time ( i will not elaborate, that is not my place to do so) and after my week rental ended, she called JUST to see how I was feeling and getting along. She wanted to ensure I had received the pad as well and could not have been any kinder and empathetic to my particular situation. Jennifer is the epidemy of how a manager takes care of her customers and her store. Checking up on people that had a rough experience is NEVER an easy task as most people are ready with attitude to spew...She handled it perfectly, professionally and deserves her position there hands down! Jennifer, I thank you for taking the time to care and actually REALLY giving a damn for the customer!!!! You could teach quite a few hundred other cutomer service based employees how its done!!! I went in yesterday to purchase a transport wheelchair and portable oxygen concentrator for my husband. Michelle was most helpful and very professional. She explained everything in detail, but made it understandable. We rolled out with everything we needed (except for a couple of things that had to be special ordered) and smiles on our faces. This business has four locations and sells all kinds of medical equipment. I recently purchased a power wheelchair. The staff was fantastic. They were very helpful. My chair was supposed to come with a fold back controller which it didn't have. Michele and Jen(the manager) immediately contacted the manufacturer rep. who originally sent the wrong part and it was used. The staff did everything to make it right. The owner, Mark got involved and checked all of their inventory to find the part in their system. Finally the part came in after six weeks. The tech from the Peoria store Al came to my home to pit it on the chair. as a frequent past customer I never had a negative experience in dealing with company. unfortunately this positive relationship has come to an end. on 5/25/23 I purchased several boxes of Catheters for my invalid sister. unexpectedly she had to be committed to a memory care facility where she was not allowed to self catheter. I attempted to return 2 unopened boxes on 6/2/23. I was told that the company return policy was 7 days and that they couldn't refund my money. this was only 2 days past the return policy. this is extremely poor customer service and I will spread the word. read more

We came into this Bell Road location looking for a TENZ unit for my fiance. They have several selections and she was looking for one that was as strong as the one from her physical therapy provider. Explained this to the sales lady, but then she said we could not test the selections for strength without buying each one without return priveleges as they would now be considered as "used". Very sterile and completely uncooperative attitude by the sales lady also. So our expectation of this place as a "full service" business was immediately dashed. We actually received less customer service and flexibility than we had at Walmart. Very poor business policy IMO and I don't quite understand how they could sell any of the tenz units here, since as soon as you got one home you probably would be able to tell immediately if it was strong enough or not and not be stuck paying for something ($49- $133) that wouldn't work for you. Unfortunate, we would never go back here again. ****RESPONSE TO MARK FROM MEDI QUIP'S COMMENT BELOW***** We did visit another "specialty medical retailer", (one of your competitors) in Phoenix minutes after we left your store. We purchased one of their Tenz units. Their sales rep had the superior sales perspective of allowing us to purchase a $7 accessory pad kit to test the unit in the store to assure our satisfaction. You may wish to also use this technique to boost your sales and improve your Yelp reviews. As to your comment regarding the unfairness of my 1 star review I would say that your refusal to sell us a product that you had there for sale for absolutely no good reason is a very ample reason for that level of rating. You wasted our time and expense to visit your store and your sales rep was not even courteous about it. read more

I found myself needing a wheelchair for my dad. I know nothing about wheelchairs. I was given a brochure for AZ MediQuip and was told they had very competitive prices. I was unsure if I was going to buy or rent. I walked in and was greeted immediately by a lady named Vicki. She showed me several wheelchairs. After about ten to fifteen minutes, I felt pretty well schooled on wheelchairs and what I needed for my dad. I decided to rent two chairs. One to stay in the house and one as a transport wheelchair. Vicki spent a lot of time with me deciding whether or not I should purchase or just rent. What a positive experience! I cannot speak more highly of my experience at AZ MediQuip. I had no idea what I was doing when I walked in and now when my dad arrives home from the care facility tomorrow, I will be able to accommodate his wheelchair needs. I will definitely be back to get more supplies as I figure out what we need. Exactly a month later, I got a follow up call from Michele asking me about my status with the wheelchair. I let her know I would like to rent it another month. I was so pleased to get a follow up call instead of late fees! Michele was friendly and asked about my dad. The best part about this entire transaction is that I live in California and did not have any of this paperwork in front of me. I would have not remembered the exact due date.
