I went because I have had knee surgery after an accident and wanted you to now graduate from a walker to a cane. I thought it would be best to go where I could be helped with the fit of a cane and how to use it. Well the individual in the store had no idea where a new box of canes were and after she finally found them she told us she had no experience at all with canes. We bought one because we had driven there and then at home watched You Tubes videos on fit and use of canes. We would have been better off ordering a cane from Amazon!! We went in to inquire about a shoulder type sleeve, unfortunately they didn't have any in stock. A gentleman named Jesse assisted us, he looked up several things online as far as that type of product. Jesse was knowledgeable, and was good with customer service needs etc. Upon convo with my mom Jesse realized they had similar injuries as far as shoulders, neck, nerve etc, he made several suggestions, wasn't pushy on sales was more attentive towards my moms needs. Gave me some online product info, and even gave us a loaner ice pack machine to use for the duration of my moms visit here in AZ. Very comforting and trusting buisness and individuals by far. So polite and friendly. They do have other medical products for other purposes, they serve first responders, law enforcement, fire dept n more. Come check them out! After a horrible motorcycle accident, we were recently referred to Ultimate Medical Supply by a nurse at HonorHealth since we have no health insurance to cover the medical supplies needed for wound care. Jessie and his staff were wonderful in helping me select the right supplies to care for my husband's injuries and graciously threw in a few extra items for me to use as well at no charge. WOW!! Tom is the best, gave me the name of the item we needed, price range we should expect to pay and then passed me off to a competitor because it was closer and easier for me! I find myself in a predicament lately when a friend decided it was best that he check himself out of cares at a nursing home after having a horrific time in the hospital, even dying. Unfortunately, He has a bed sore and also a surgical wound that opened up on his second leg that has been amputated. It's impossible to buy the things you need from the big box stores. I know Tom works with people and does what he can so I got ahold of him and he was going To open the store after hours. I was3 hours away. That didn't work out, but I did make it to the store. As soon as I did, I was so excited that I would find all those things we needed and many more we didn't know about. As soon as I walked in the man (not Tom) asked if he could help. I told him I wanted to just look. He stayed rather close. That's when I told him that it feels like Christmas in there. He said to me that you've got a problem of you think this is like Christmas... this is a medical supply store. After that my excitement dwindled as I could feel the tension with this man. I ended up spending $120 and definitely am better off and so is my friend bedside of this store. I don't understand why this man felt the need to pop the bubble I was in. read more

We will only purchase from Ultimate Medical Equipment due to the generosity of the owner, Tom, in fixing our walker which was sold to us by his competitor, Valley Medical Supplies who refused to fix it for us. After only 1 1/2 months the walker brakes were not holding which was a severe concern and safety issue. Tom repaired the brakes and alleviated our concerns. They had three different models of it, so we went to the store, and they allowed him to take the walkers outside the store to try them out even! They were very accomodating and gave us a good price. I can't say enough about this company and their staff. My son was discharged from the hospital yesterday. It wasn't until after we arrived at home early evening did we discover his own bed would not work out for him and a hospital bed was necessary. It was late in the day and I called several medical equipment companies only to be told they don't deliver this late or nothing was available. It wasn't until I called Ultimate Medical Equipment Inc and spoke with a very nice lady. She went out of her way to accommodate my needs and arranged for one of their staff to deliver a bed and set it up within two hours. They also had a very empathetic ear when I was explaining our situation. They even made sure to bring extra supplies for the bed In the event I needed them. While setting up the bed I asked the gentleman if they repair electric scooters. To my surprise they did; he took the battery housing, tested it and replaced the batteries and delivered it the following day when he returned to adjust the bed. Fantastic customer service. We got a mobility scooter from Ultimate Medical Equipment a few months ago. They had the lowest prices of several companies I researched. Lou spoke to me extensively by telephone to determine the device that would be most appropriate for my step-father. Lou came to the assisted living facility to deliver the scooter to my step-father. He took the time to teach him how to use it and to explain how to maintain it. He called the next day to check in on how he was doing with adapting to using the scooter .My step-father's quality of life has increased substantially due to his ability to be mobile independently. Yesterday, my step-father told me the seat was not turning properly. I called Lou, who agreed to come to the assisted living facility to look at the scooter. Today, he called to say a screw had come loose from the base of the scooter and fallen out. Lou said he will get the part and install it this afternoon. Even more impressively, he did not charge for the service, his time, or the part. Lou seems to truly care, not just about the business, but about my step-father. From the first contact by telephone to today's service, I have felt Lou has my step-father's best interest in mind.
