Great store that has new items coming in everyday. All the proceeds go to a dog rescue who helps senior dogs who lost their person due to illness, hospice care or has passed on. Very good cause. I could imagine how hard this would be in a senior dog being taken from the only home they have known for years. read more

Rusty's Resale is a great thrift store with an awesome mission. All proceeds support Rusty's Angels Sanctuary, a Phoenix dog rescue that helps older pups in need. The boutique is run by volunteers and offers a nice selection of clothing, jewelry and home goods. Everything is well-organized and all items are in excellent condition. There is something for everyone here! As one would expect from a dog-focused boutique, their pet section is quite robust! I was able to pick up some dog bowls and a new collar for my fur baby. If you're in the area, please stop by and support Rusty's so they can continue saving senior dogs! You'll definitely find some good items to take home, and feel good about your shopping habits! read more

Love, love LOVE the idea of this resale shop. Opened up last year to give back to their namesake animal rescue Rusty's Angels Sanctuary that helps special need and senior dogs. I had a bunch of clothing and different giveaways that I decided I would take to Rusty's Resale so they could get the money to give back to the shelter. The giveaway process is seemless- they also give you a receipt to fill out for your taxes. Once I was done I went inside to see what they had to offer. From clothes to knick-knacks and house hold goods you can find it here! I was amazed at the selection of women's jeans in general! When you clean out your closet or even garage and want to give back to our animal community Rusty's Resale Boutique is the place... and while you are there buy yourself something! read more

I was at this location today. I frequently shop this store. While a lot of people were nice I…read moreencountered a very rude employee. This is a mature woman with dyed black hair...grey roots and glasses. I was going through items to purchase. I smiled at her and said hello and she ignored me and gave me a dirty look. I encountered her again while hanging unwanted clothes on an end cap. All hung up and ready to go back on the floor. She came over loudly huffing and puffing and ripped them off the rack. If this is a problem Goodwill should have a go back rack. The dressing rooms have already been taken. People still need mirrors to decide and a place to put go backs without being treated rudely. We are already paying higher prices at Goodwill for donated items...and asked to donate more money at the register. Going to lose customers.

OK, I've been here three times now spent 1 to 2 hours each time and so far haven't bought anything…read more Number one make sure you have a cell phone that you can look things up on Home Depot because that's how you find the prices. Unfortunately, I have to be in a Wi-Fi area in order to use my phone like that. And they don't have Wi-Fi. I needed very specific things size wise. And you're not allowed to open packaging but when you pick up a lamp and you lightly shake it and you hear broken glass, but you're not allowed to open up the package and see what exactly broke why bother buying it at half price if you're not gonna be able to use it. This happened repeatedly also I was looking for a specific size bathroom medicine cabinet. Since much of the writing on the boxes didn't have dimensions, and I couldn't open the boxes because it's against the rules. I could find boxes that I think might've had the right sized item inside but I really couldn't take the gamble especially when I can't see if they're scratches or dents or a door ripped off, etc. I think the only thing I will come back here for is tile. If you're doing a craft project and you need a few pieces of tile or you're doing something special to cover a table top and you only need a few feet. This is the place to come for the tile. Unfortunately, the majority of the tile is not labeled and not priced and I hate having to run up to the counter every single time I find something to find out how much it's gonna cost. It's just ridiculous. I found a similar place, not too far away, where the people don't mind if you open the items to look at them and they will even go so far as to take a light fixture and wire it to a test area to show you that it works. So I think I will keep going to this other place instead.
