I was at this location today. I frequently shop this store. While a lot of people were nice I encountered a very rude employee. This is a mature woman with dyed black hair...grey roots and glasses. I was going through items to purchase. I smiled at her and said hello and she ignored me and gave me a dirty look. I encountered her again while hanging unwanted clothes on an end cap. All hung up and ready to go back on the floor. She came over loudly huffing and puffing and ripped them off the rack. If this is a problem Goodwill should have a go back rack. The dressing rooms have already been taken. People still need mirrors to decide and a place to put go backs without being treated rudely. We are already paying higher prices at Goodwill for donated items...and asked to donate more money at the register. Going to lose customers.​ read more

Stopped in to this Goodwill location today because I was in the Anthem area. The store is very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a great variety of well priced items. I would definitely stop by again if in the area. read more

I happened to hit the jackpot on the day I went. They had a good selection of nice furniture that was reasonably priced but I didn't buy any. Kids toys were loaded and actually organized. We got an our generation ice cream truck for my daughter, it retails for $130 and we paid $8. My daughter was thrilled. In the home goods section I found some cool stuff. A big wood serving tray. There was an off brand video game controller I got cheap for my son. It ended up not working but that's just how it goes sometimes. I'll definitely return to this location. read more

Best Goodwill in the area! Located right near the outlets in Anthem. Very clean store and lots of quality name brand clothing. Thursdays are $2 day on certain tags and Sundays teachers get 25% off with their ID which I appreciate! If you like to thrift, this is a fun stop! read more

We had a very subpar experience donating items from my mother's estate last Sunday. We pulled up with a Uhaul trailer of furniture items, paintings and knick-nacks which the goodwill workers helped us unload. This appears to a very busy processing facility at the Anthem location. We were getting ready to go when a middle-aged lady (possible manager) with light colored hair came out and pointed to some items way forward of where we were situated consisting of what looked like a broken mirror and disassembled junk. We told her our items were just unloaded by GW workers and those items were obviously not ours. She then stated "we don't take items self-unloaded without help from Goodwill workers". I politely explained again we had just been unloaded by Goodwill workers. Next she then pointed to a sign saying no self unloads which I again explained was not applicable to us. That didn't stop her from telling me that she is going to take pictures of violators. I felt like I was listening to a broken record on repeat with us explaining we were just unloaded and she can immediately verify with workers near us. She continued in an angry manner addressing me but not directly accusing me and my brother. She mentioned they need security cameras to catch violators which is fine but again why all the angry talk directed at me? All our items by the way were in good condition that we felt GW would love to have. It was very disconcerting encountering this lady who might have been a manager. I have given to Goodwill for many years in Texas where I live but this is the first time I had a sour experience. Don't go here unless you don't mind wasting your time arguing with a sad old lady (employee) whether an item was mistagged or not? And then go all the way as to find out it was tagged wrong and this old lady just should not be working anymore and needs to retire if she wants to accuse people of lieing and cheating! I had a coupon that was texted to me because I signed up for alerts. The cashier called the manager because she had never seen it before and the manager on duty( Monday Memorial Day) didn't even have the decency to come out of his "office" to deal with the issue. Wow. That made me feel like a vip customer. Said no that was a coupon for a different part of Arizona. How he knew that without looking at he must be a mind reader!!! This review is for the donation drop off drive up service. We have a family member downsizing from a 4k+ sq ft home to a home a quarter of that size. They entertained a lot so they had tons to donate. We made over a dozen donation drops over the last month here. The drive up donation drop off area was very convenient and handing items off was very streamlined even though we took carloads and carloads of stuff in. At times we took all 3 cars through loaded with stuff and there was some back up because bins weren't available but we eventually got it all unloaded. It felt good to offload our goods. read more

The merchandise at this Goodwill is pretty good, the store is decent, I love the colored tag discounts and I always seem to find SOMEthing. There's a guy working there and he is great - always cheerful & friendly even if I am returning things, asks / reminds you if you have a coupon to use. He is one of the good things there. I don't know his name, but if you happen to interact with him, you will know it's him because he stands out (in a good way). Otherwise, it is 'buyer beware' and I would advise you to pay attention to the check out process to catch any errors or omissions real time, because they are not helpful (nor friendly) after the fact. I purchased 13 things and spent over $80 on this one visit. This was unusual as I don't typically spend this much. I wasn't paying close attention as I was chatting with the gal who was ringing me up so that's on me. Couple things happened: 1) I forgot about using my 20% coupon and that would have been about $16 savings. This is truly my responsibility, but it is such a great customer service when the cashier asks / reminds you about coupons and this simple act does a lot as far as customer relations goes. 2) The cashier only used $1.98 of my merchandise credit when it should have been $10.98. So I paid $9 more out of pocket than I really needed to. I don't understand how this happened when the card for the merchandise credit gets scanned. I realized these two things as I looked over my receipt in the parking lot so I went back in to see what, if anything could be done. I spoke with the same cashier and she called the manager over to assist. As the manager opened the til and the two of them looked for the merch credit card in the drawer, the cashier was explaining to her mgr how the error could have happened, apologizing... made me think that either, she has a history of making a lot of mistakes or there's something else going on. So anyways, the merch credit card was found, with $9 on it. Manager hands it to me and asks if I want to use it next time. And, although the cashier told the manager, "she didn't tell me she wanted to use the 20% coupon" and then told me that they would have to return and re-ring everything up, the manager conveniently ignored that part of the conversation & didn't acknowledge it. I found the manager to be Not very friendly Not customer oriented Not helpful I wasn't feeling well (arthritis pain, not COVID-19) and didn't have the energy to deal with this any further. I walked away feeling like I was jipped $25. If I wasn't in pain, I would have been my maha`oi self, and would have pushed for my discount & used the balance of the credit, but I believe things happen for reasons. And probably, Goodwill needs the $25 more than I do right now. But, I will be less chatty and more diligent from now on for sure. read more

Seemed like a very nice Goodwill. The bathrooms were very clean. Good customer service. Pretty organized.

Clean store in quiet location, and drop-off area around the back is always staffed and they're pretty helpful and masked up during covid.

Love this goodwill! It's clean, neat, doesn't have an extreme deodorant smell, bathrooms are tidy, the prices are still a bit high but the stuff is a bit nicer than some of the other goodwills in Phoenix and queen creek. I found some nice sweaters and skirts here and two pair of Lucky jeans that I adore. read more

Hello my name is Ashleigh, I just went to the goodwill in anthem Arizona! I am very very upset!!! I purchased over 100$ worth of stuff including a dresser, when I went to the back to pick it up, they asked for my recite. I gave them it and they said what did you purchase I told them a little wood dresser. They began to question me and say well what dresser and where did you purchase it. I told them where it was and how much I spent on it. 19.99$ They brought it out after a couple of minutes saying the person who rang me up rang it up wrong. I told him okay? How is that my fault? He said all they labeled it as is wood I said okay? Then he then told me I need to pull my truck around the other way I told him okay will do, he said NOW MAAM! I began to get frustrated and said I was working on it give me a second, he then said I am very busy..... I said again OKAY!!!! Pulled my truck around and when I did he then told me it isn't going to fit! I said okay I'll move my seats down he then raised his voice at me and said ma'am it is not going to fit come back later with a different vehicle! I then asked why he hadn't even tried to put it in the back of the truck he said if you can do it then do it yourself and left it there for me to do myself!!!! I then did it all by myself! With no help! I pulled around to the front of the store was able to get it in my lifted truck all alone!!!! I am so upset! They didn't even try and help me and the way the spoke to me was so rude!!!! I'm sorry to those who have had a bad experience here, but all I had was a nice one. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I spotted some nice finds. I shopped in the clothing department for school, so I can't speak to the other parts of the store. Despite this, I have to say that the overall atmosphere of this location is clean and respectable.
