Very Disappointing Experience - Bolero at Europa Village…read more I am not a member of Europa Village, but I went to Bolero specifically because I wanted to try their "large seafood paella." Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. We were a group of 10 people, and our server was very pushy about ordering the chicken paella and suggested getting two small paellas instead of the large seafood paella we originally wanted. I felt like she was not listening to what our group actually wanted, and the service was not good. The seafood paella was $70, which I expected to be worth the price. Unfortunately, the rice was burned, and there was almost no seafood--just one shell and a very tiny piece of calamari buried in a large amount of rice. The rice tasted like packaged or prepared rice, rather than freshly made paella. We also tried the chicken paella, and it was just as disappointing. There was only one piece of chicken with a large amount of rice, and nobody in our group liked it. Almost everyone at our table had a negative comment about the paella. In the end, we were so disappointed that we left most of the food and threw it away. For $70, I expected a much better-quality dish, especially from a winery restaurant. The should call "RICE PAELLA," Unfortunately, the food and service did not live up to our expectations, and I would not order the paella again.

Great wine, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely a Temecula wine country favorite!

First and foremost, I will NEVER be visiting this winery EVER again. To anyone that reads this…read morereview, YOU ARE WARNED you will be subjected to the worst experience and customer service that you will probably have to ever endure. My Wife and I are appalled over what happened. To the Business Owner, Cane V., you need to train your employees, the faces of YOUR everyday business, to be more EMOTIONALLY INTUITIVE and PROFESSIONAL and have GENERAL MATURITY. Where do I start? If you are looking for a winery that has an unprofessional, rowdy brewery atmosphere that attracts Entitled Stank Faced Boomer Temecula Wine Moms and their Snobby Little Cliques LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Our Experience: my Wife and I came over to sample some wines from this winery that was recommended from a friend. On the Winery Website, you can do 2 different types of wine tastings: Classic Tastings of 6 wines of your choice or a Private Wine Tasting of 8 different ones for a higher price. This is what initially attracted my Wife and I to this winery in the first place (big mistake on our end). Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that wine tasting is no longer being offered at all. The incompetent red haired bartender at the front entrance provided us with no other alternative other than "Yea we don't offer that anymore, you can do by the glass or by the bottle." Her tone changed completely when I asked her about the Club they advertise everywhere. She then tells us that they are booked for the day, however the BAR and LAWN area are open seating, after 8PM everything is open seating. It was 6:30/7PM so we decided by that point, we'll wait for a spot to open up and enjoy some wine then in the meantime. We figured, it's just the 2 of us so we should have luck finding a spot. At the bar area, I noticed that 3 seats were left unattended. The people there got up and left, no drinks were left behind or any "Reservation" placards were placed to notify people. I walk over, sit down and wave to my Wife to come and sit at the bar area. We sat down, sipped some of our wine for 10-15 minutes. Bar had 2 people working, a gentleman and heavier set Blonde lady. Both of them never said anything and nothing was ever exchanged between us and the heavier set Blond lady. I was even thinking about buying a beer or cocktail and thankfully I didn't. Shortly after this time, an EXTREMELY RUDE, ENTITLED, and VISIBLY DRUNK lady and her husband RUDLY went in between my Wife and I and COMMANDED we leave her spots. My Wife and I laughed at her and were genuinely confused because the BAR IS OPEN SEATING, THERE ARE NO RESERVATIONS FOR OPEN SEATING. She then gets even more angry and DEMANDS we leave or else, says to my Wife and I "YOU're GOING TO LEAVE NOW," I tell the lady to kick rocks, it's open seating then she enters the bar area to talk to the heavier set Blond bar tender that we wont move. The Blond bar tender THEN has the AUDACITY to tell us "They have been sitting here all night, YOU TWO need to leave immediately." My Wife and I look at each other and absolutely laugh it off at the sheer absurdity of everyone's tone towards us. Who do you think you are to blatantly kick us out ON OPEN SEATING? Either you are severely undertrained from the Owner or you as a staff member play favorites with other entitled customers. Both of which are absolutely absurd. Upon this interaction, my Wife and I leave and go right down the street to Europa Winery and sampled several wines and had a $250 dinner at Bolero. Here, the experience was a complete 180° and we should've never wasted our time at Miramonte Winery being subjected to the nastiness from the Temecula Trash. If you are a large party, or wanting to host private events, I STRONGLY recommend ANYWHERE else besides Miramonte Winery. The Staff here is atrocious, rude, immature and ugly. I pride myself in never leaving nasty reviews but this experience changed everything moving forward.

I was low-key panicking when we pulled in because parking looked completely full, but somehow I found a spot at the very last minute, so don't lose hope if it looks packed. The wine was actually really good, the staff was so friendly, and everyone there was just there to have a fun night. The line dancing was beginner-friendly, so even if you've never done it before, you'll catch on pretty quickly. Also... the little golf cart shuttle that takes you back to the parking lot afterward? Absolute best after a long night in boots . It was such a nice touch after a night of dancing. Such a fun way to spend a Friday with your girlfriends. We'll definitely be making this a tradition.

He was knowledgeable about the wines and did a great job explaining the pairings. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the pond is gorgeous. It's a great setting to relax, enjoy some wine, and take in the views. They also have a nice selection of wines to choose from. Unfortunately, the food options were a bit of a letdown. I was particularly disappointed in what they presented as a charcuterie board. There were no jams, olives, or brie, and the overall presentation was pretty underwhelming. The walnuts presentation were also soft and soggy. How do walnuts get that way unless they've been sitting out too long?! The "charcuterie board" came in a square paper box and for $42.00, I expected a much better presentation and options. Honestly, it just felt blah and wasn't what I would typically expect from a winery. Overall, the wine, service, and beautiful surroundings made for an enjoyable visit. I just wish the food offerings and presentation were more in line with the rest of the experience. I'd consider coming back for the wine and scenery, but I hope they improve their food selection. On another note, my friend order the truffle fries. It was okay but it was barely dusted with truffle.

The views from the top were gorgeous, especially since we arrived around sunset and got to overlook the vineyards. Getting to the restaurant was part of the experience. We walked through the wine barrel area before reaching our private dining space, and the name definitely speaks for itself because you're literally dining inside a cave! The dim lighting, ambiance, and beautiful table setting made the evening feel extra special. We started with the chimichurri fries, which were so good! The bread with melted cheese and marinara was another favorite. We had a set menu for dinner, and I chose the Maine lobster followed by the cannolis for dessert. The lobster was a little overcooked for me, but it was seasoned well and the presentation was beautiful. The cannolis were delicious! Our servers were wonderful and very attentive throughout the evening. Overall, we had a great dining experience and such a fun night with the group. I definitely want to come back and try their wine tasting next time!

SERVICE: Jalynne, our Leoness hostess, is a consummate (and cheerful) professional. After her informative, concise overview of Leonesses offerings, we opted (as the vast number of guests there) for the "brunch" buffet. FOOD: All selections we had - customized omelets; other eggs; prime rib; shrimp cocktail; mahi-mahi; multiple potato preparations; waffles; salads; fresh-cut fruits: all quite tasty, fresh and adequate. WINES: Once we were ready to munch and sip, - aside from our main beverages - we experienced a memorable (member's) wine tasting. WOW! curated by Jalynne, her presentations were well-timed and just paired perfectly with our food choices - Jalynne can conduct her way through an orchestra of food ... incredible! There were Adirondack chairs outside, cornhole, etc. It was such a welcoming place. There were food trucks from which to purchase Mexican food etc. out in the parking lot. After Covid, they expanded which is great. The comfy Adirondack chairs turned into metal tables and chairs. The space feels much more crammed. It does not feel so relaxed anymore. And as for the employees, snarky comments should never be tolerated. My daughter-in-law had her mother's retirement party at this establishment. Initially, the woman she talked to on the phone was not very helpful or welcoming. Some other gentleman was VERY helpful and gave the impression that this party was welcome here. On the night of the event, 15 people actually showed up. We had three tables inside. There was one party of 4 in the back corner. The place was empty. There were a few people outside enjoying the live music. The music was great. Anyway, we brought some of our Somerset wines from home but also ordered beers, pizza and champagne. It's not like we were merely using their facility with no benefit to them. A couple came in and used another inside table. Again, there was still open seating inside. We weren't loud. We were respectful. We spent money. When it came time to cut the cake, we asked to borrow a knife. The female employee's comment was, "We can't lend you a knife. This is why we tell people to bring cupcakes" in a very condescending and rude tone. There was absolutely no excuse for that demeanor. She should have been kind. And as a side note, any time someone from our party walked up to the tasting counter, the employees didn't acknowledge them. A male and female were talking to each other and told us we needed to wait. What kind of customer service is that?? I've read through many of the comments and it sounds like bridal parties and bachelor parties are perfectly acceptable. And we all know how rowdy they can get. But our quiet retirement party did not feel welcomed. Go to Peltzer if you're in the area. Great vibe! Very chill! Amazing Sangrias and slushies.
