Pad See-Ew with Chicken
Aerielle S.

So good! Great prices with great flavors. My new go to for Thai food in WC. They have very friendly staff! I haven't sat in before, only doing takeouts, but the service is quick and efficient (less than 15 minutes for my meal). They had cute decor inside! The food is really good and a bang for your buck. The green curry was sweet and tado wish there was more veggies in the pad see ew but other than that no complaints!!

This is our go to Thai restaurant! We live about 20 minutes away, but the drive is worth it! Everything here is good! We have not had a dish that we don't like. Items that we normally order: Pumpkin curry Pad see ew Drunken noodles Kao Soy Vegetables and noodles in broth Ownership changed around 2022, but the food remains just as good!

But you know me, food is what it is all about in my reviews! Lol! Cajun calamari 5/5 not too spicy at least I didn't notice but it was excellent and very crunchy. With a honey mustard style sauce which complimented the calamari. Chicken satay 5/5 excellent and smooth with yummy peanut sauce and tiny cup of cucumber salad. Garlic wings 4/5 ( some family members liked this the best). Garlicky and flavorful but for me, these were dry type of fried wings and I like mine with a glaze or sauce. Samosa- 4/5 a kind of sweet mashed potato type of filling. Fresh spring rolls 4/5 ok I am used to big kind where you can taste shrimp. These were small, and cut up. Fried veg rolls 4/5 kind of like small lumpia- ok Eggplant with chicken and basil 5/5 Pumpkin curry with chicken 5/5 one of my favorites Grilled lamb chops 5/5 my favorite of all. Grilled perfectly. Taste was excellent and served with special rice( forbidden rice or purple rice on top?). Drunken noodles with beef-5/5 ( some of my family's favorites). Pad Thai I paid extra for chicken and shrimp together. 5/5 I don't usually like shrimp but the prawns alone were amazing! Whole dish was perfect. Pad See Ew- 4/5 good but if I had to pick the other two pad Thai (#2) and drunken noodles (#1)were better. Laos sausage wrapped in leaves with a mix of peanuts, red onions and fresh lime and garlic. 5/5 A spicy sausage cut into slices to be wrapped in lettuce leaves. Pineapple fried rice 5/5 Mango Lovers- 10/5 surprisingly a star showcase of varied mango desserts with macaron cookies. Thai iced tea ice cream( loved this one), mango ice cream, mango slices and sweet rice, and a fresh strawberry and mango slices and a mango mousse cake slice. All excellent! I was surprised how big this was, so don't need to order any other dessert if you order this!!! Then my favorite fried banana fried in like a eggroll type wrapper. Smooth and yummy! And coconut ice cream complimented it perfectly. 10/5 So here you have an idea of menu offerings. All of them delicious and service and ambiance wonderful! I had a group of 12 in our party. It was a nice place to have a party. They loved all the drinks from lychee martini, Thai iced tea spiked and regular Thai iced teas and one with a basket drink. I am glad they helped us celebrate my daughter's achievements and sent her a complimentary ice cream. Thank you Torsop Thai for making it memorable and delicious for our family! Yes, that was my family and not even all of them were able to come-I have a big family! Definitely will come here for more family get togethers!

We brought a wide age range (from a tween to an 89-year-old), and the staff was incredibly accommodating. They happily made a simple salmon and sticky rice dish for my tween, though she loved the look of the food so much she ended up eating our tuna tower, yellow chicken curry, drunken noodles, and pad Thai too...all of which were phenomenal. Shoutout to the staff, especially the gentleman delivering drinks with absolute flair! Exceptional service and a great overall experience. Highly recommend!

My husband and I ordered take-out from here last night; we'd never been here before. We ordered the…read morered curry, a pad thai, and the pineapple fried rice. Everything was delicious, especially the red curry! I also want to shout-out the take-out person who made our order, they did a great job and got all of our adjustments right. (We wanted some things omitted/on the side) I was nervous there would be a mistake but it was perfect so shout out to whoever that is. And I could see on the receipt they checked everything off so I appreciate that. The one thing I do not like about this place is that you have to pay for the rice separately when you buy curry. I knew this before ordering so I just made some at home, but I find that very odd. Who is going to eat curry just as is? It's like serving a bowl of alfredo and charging extra for the fettucine. It seems to me like a random way to get more money out of guests; I don't know why else it would be that way. Rice costs barely anything; they should consider including it and maybe adding a dollar or something to the entree. Nonetheless, we would order from this spot again; we really enjoyed the food, the portions were really good sized too.

Less than amazing, all the spots have meters and it's $10.50 for three hours! Credit card is the way to go with the meters, because I hesitated after putting in the first quarter (to try to see how much time that bought me) and subsequent quarters did not register. We had a party of six but it was no problem getting reservations for 12:30 p.m. on a Sunday. Good thing we had a reservation because the place was packed on this Sunday early afternoon. Servers were friendly and efficient, always a plus. I had the PraRam and I was very pleased with it. Best PraRam I've had since losing Ginger's Thai restaurant in Martinez. Definitely worthy of a return visit!

There was a slight mishap this time though I made the reservation about three days before Valentine's Day and received a confirmation text. Then the day before Valentine's Day, I got another text saying my reservation was canceled, which definitely threw me off. Thankfully, I called the restaurant and they were able to get everything situated and reinstate my reservation. That was a relief. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hostess who asked if we had a reservation and then directed us to our table. I really liked our table location it felt comfortable and perfect for a date night. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and set the tone for a great evening. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. For drinks, I got a Summer Breeze and my girl had the Tai Chi. For appetizers, we ordered the Lady Fingers which I never had before but were really good. For our main dishes, we had the pineapple fried rice, cashew chicken, and Pad See Ew. I stepped out of my food comfort zone with the cashew chicken and Pad See Ew, but I made the right decision because both dishes were delicious. One unexpected kicker was that they boxed up our leftovers for us, which was a really nice touch and something I appreciated. Overall, this was a great Valentine's Day experience. The ambience was nice, the food was good, and the service was solid. I'd rate my experience a 10 out of 10 and will definitely be back.

A big letdown to be honest. I had great expectations for this restaurant due to high reviews but…read moreI'm really not sure why after actually trying the food here. First I like the location; it's on the main street and has a quaint feel to it. The service is also good enough as the owners are courteous. However I do have two big problems with the food. It's way too expensive for the quality and the portion you get. For example there is no lemongrass in the Tom Yum soup and flavor is off. The soup feels like "watered down," and unfortunately that's the theme for the flavors. The curry (red curry) is also very much watered down. I like my curry thick and flavorful but the curry here is watery and unsavory. My other problem with the food is that the seafood especially the calamari rings are not fresh. A fresh calamari should be chewy without being soggy but the ones served have absolutely not chewiness at all which is a sign it's not fresh (not spoiled just not fresh). My biggest problem has to do with portion and price. With most dish over $24 with prawns it's hard to see any value especially with the quality of the dish. The portions are small and the price is expensive so when the flavor is not up to par I just can't say it's worth going. Overall I have a hard time recommending this place even if I like the interior and the service. My average cost per person (food only) is over $45 and each order of white rice is $4 which is just too high.

It sat there and got cold for 10 mins before the rice came. The appetizers came only in the end. The hostess was short and she just seemed busy. I understand. The waitress was nice enough but was absent during most of our meal. She seemed to be waiting many tables. However she told my 7 yo she'll get ice cream after dinner 3 different times, which was sort of uncalled for. Then my kid decided she wanted it (because which kid says no to ice cream!) And we were forced to buy it. Why keep mentioning it to a kid if you can't afford to just give it. That's a really shallow form of selling things and I don't know if the waitress intended it but we were pretty pissed that she forced us to eat and pay for ice cream.

The balance of sweet, spicy, sour, and savory was spot on. The Pad Thai was one of the best I've ever had--perfectly cooked noodles with just the right amount of tang and richness. The Tom Yum soup was incredibly flavorful, with a deep, aromatic broth that had the perfect kick of spice. We also ordered a curry dish that was rich, creamy, and full of depth--easily a standout.
