Great Food great taste , excellent service , the ambiance is quiet and relaxing . Great place !

Name? Had a Thai language name, foud at back of menu under Specialties. Minced chicken, herbs, and quite spicy. I requested "Thai hot."

Great vibe, food and service. Will go again when in the area. Prices are reasonable as well, given high restaurant prices these days.

We went here for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was empty when we arrived. We were seated right away and given water. The decor is vibrant and colorful. We ordered the lunch special. I had the crab rangoons (up charge), salad, and pad Thai. The rangoons were my favorite amongst the 3. I ordered the pad Thai at a spice level 2 but would prefer a level 3 for some heat. My husband had the crispy vegetable rolls, basil chicken, and steamed rice. The basil chicken was by far the best dish out of everything. Overall, the food here is fresh, delicious and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We will definitely go again!!

Nice restaurant on the main road. Tried the chicken satay, red pumpkin curry with shrimp and sautéed beef and garlic. Everything was delicious. Friendly service and casual. They have a good deal for a pre fixed lunch menu too.

Good food, quick service. My mom, brother and I decided to stop here for lunch today after taking our toddlers to Gymboree. We popped in and requested a table for 3 adults and 2 littles. They kindly sat us outside quickly and were very quick to come get our order. We all ordered the special opting to try different items. My mom got the fried egg rolls, salad and tofu eggplant. My brother and I got the spring roll and pad Thai. All the food arrived quickly, was a good size and seemed fresh. We enjoyed our meal and would recommend it. I thought it was good for an informal, quick lunch.

    Short rib soup

Went here for lunch on a Monday and was so happy with the food and service! We got the hot Ginger tea and kombucha which were both delicious. The short rib soup was so flavorful and our server recommended the jalapeño vinegar to add from the condiment tray and it was a fantastic pairing. The stewed pork belly (Palo) was complex and the flavors were heavenly. We also got the crispy garlic shrimp which was light and so tasty. The mango sticky rice had crunchies on top but that added a great texture. I'm not in the area often but I can't wait to go back when I am! The service was also prompt and friendly.

To start my review, I'd rate the food a solid 4, but I have to knock them down to 3 stars. We put in a takeout order for 7 dishes at 7:15. Got there at 7:10, received a warm and friendly greeting and was told it would be a few minutes. I was shown a nearby seat and given water. Hospitality is a plus here. Unfortunately, I had to wait til almost 7:35... nothing to get upset about, just an inconvenience. Got home and found we were missing chicken satay and got pad Thai instead. Called them back and they believed we ordered the pad Thai vs satay... obviously a miscommunication... it happens. Now to the food: tasty and well-seasoned dishes; the pork belly app was good, garlic prawns excellent. Noodle dishes were good too. Yellow curry had a nice bite to it. All in all, food was good, wait time and order mixup was not so good. We'll be back, but next time we'll eat in.

This review is long overdue! The food at Amarin Thai Cuisine restaurant is absolutely delicious! Every dish is perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The best and most fresh spring rolls are my favorite! My triplets love Roti Curry Dips to start off their meals. Then they follow with their favorite plates: Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and The Yellow Curry with Coconut Rice. They have HUGE appetites so they love that their portions are BIG! The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The owner, Ethan always goes above and beyond to ensure we have a positive experience Everytime!

Had lunch w/ my mom and her friend last week on Sunday. Went w/ the lunch special. I ordered Pad Thai, Papaya salad, and egg rolls. Everything was good except the egg rolls. Was a little too soggy and oil. However, the salad was really good. Pad Thai's chicken was a little tough but the rest was good.

Pad kee mao, very bland and onions were undercooked
    Jen Q.

They recently changed ownership and we wanted to give them a try since they are local. Ordered takeout got pad kee mao and Tom yum soup. Pad Kee Mao: 1/5 very disappointing. As a dish that is often eaten with beer it was lackluster and bland. When I opened the lid I immediately noticed how pale it was. Came with a few pieces of chicken, bell pepper, basil, and undercooked onions. Tom Yum Soup: 5/5 phenomenal. Best Tom yum soup I've had in a while and I eat Thai food at least twice a week. It was savory, tangy, and just the right amount of spice. Not too salty or sweet. I would come back just for this soup alone.

Our friend recommended this place to us. We love spicy food and wanted an impromptu, intimate, and fresh date night. The place is very colorful and upscale feeling, nothing drab or pretentious. The staff was super friendly and made great recommendations. We started with the Thai sausage appetizer followed by the chicken larb. We were so hungry we didn't take pictures but the larb lettuce was presented in beautiful basket. We finished with the curry beef and rice as the main. We don't usefully eat red meat but we were glad we did. It look and tasted amazing full of flavor, spicy, and not salty.

Amazing, delicious food! Last minute on Valentine's Day, we decided to go to dinner as a family. We knew it would be challenging to find a place. We went to three different restaurants that we normally go to, and as expected, they were all either full or need reservations. We needed up finding this place and decided to try it. The place is nice and clean. The customer service was exceptional. The food was flavorful. I've had Thai food before in other places but it's been awhile since I've had a really good Thai food, and this place really hit the spot. My kids also loved the food and asked if we can come back! We were really glad that the other restaurants were booked that we were able to find this place and add it to "our top restaurants" to come back again as a family.

If you love authentic, fresh, and flavorful Thai food, Amarin Thai Cuisine in Lafayette is the place to go! Under new ownership, this long-time local favorite is thriving with Ethan at the helm--one of the friendliest, most welcoming restaurant owners you'll ever meet. His passion for great food and hospitality is truly felt the moment you walk in. The restaurant has a relaxing, cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for a sit-down meal, but their takeout is just as excellent. We ordered a mix of dishes and were blown away by the quality: Fresh Veggie Spring Rolls - These are wrapped fresh daily and served with the best peanut sauce ever. Coconut Soup (Tom Kha Kai) - A flavorful, creamy, and comforting bowl that transports you to paradise. Basil Chicken (Pad Kra Pow) - Perfectly seasoned, packed with fresh ingredients, and full of bold flavors. Chicken Pumpkin Curry - A rich, creamy, slightly sweet curry that's an instant favorite. Pineapple Fried Rice - Light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. Drunken Noodles - A must-try for any noodle lover! We ordered everything at spice level 2 (out of 5), and it was just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavors. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes, especially since they also serve breakfast! If you're in the area, make sure to stop by, show some love, and say hi to Ethan! And if you're feeling adventurous, don't forget to grab some jasmine rice to soak up all that delicious curry. Highly recommend this spot--whether dining in or grabbing takeout, you won't be disappointed!

Everything was delicious, especially the red curry! I also want to shout-out the take-out person who made our order, they did a great job and got all of our adjustments right. (We wanted some things omitted/on the side) I was nervous there would be a mistake but it was perfect so shout out to whoever that is. And I could see on the receipt they checked everything off so I appreciate that. The one thing I do not like about this place is that you have to pay for the rice separately when you buy curry. I knew this before ordering so I just made some at home, but I find that very odd. Who is going to eat curry just as is? It's like serving a bowl of alfredo and charging extra for the fettucine. It seems to me like a random way to get more money out of guests; I don't know why else it would be that way. Rice costs barely anything; they should consider including it and maybe adding a dollar or something to the entree. Nonetheless, we would order from this spot again; we really enjoyed the food, the portions were really good sized too.

The balance of sweet, spicy, sour, and savory was spot on. The Pad Thai was one of the best I've ever had--perfectly cooked noodles with just the right amount of tang and richness. The Tom Yum soup was incredibly flavorful, with a deep, aromatic broth that had the perfect kick of spice. We also ordered a curry dish that was rich, creamy, and full of depth--easily a standout. What really made the experience even better was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We are regulars here, and when we have out of town visitors, this is one of the places we take them to. Today family was visiting for Thanksgiving, so we took them here, 11/26/2025 at 6:30pm. Only 1 table was dining in, but had a handful of to-go orders. Dirty dishes were piled on every table. No acknowledgement, even after waiting 15 mins. I wanted to leave, but the rest decided to stay. We cleared and wiped down our own table, sat ourselves. 7:00pm- Server finally comes to take our order. He is extremely rude. Sighs, rolling his eyes, angry tone, major attitude. The final straw was when we requested if he could read the order back to us, and he said "NO!" and stomped away. It felt like we were on some prank show, but sadly it wasn't. We decided to leave. We told him that he was rude, but he didn't care. The place was empty when we left, we were the only customers, so they definitely weren't busy. I guess he wanted to go home early. Suffice to say, I can cross off this place from my list. We ended up going right down the street to Saneh Bangkok, where we had an amazing meal, with great service. Seems like we weren't alone in our poor experience. There is a 2 star review posted today from someone else with a similar experience- this is a different party, I don't know them. I guess its comforting to know they give angry service to everyone, not just us!
