Water leak

First off, the manger Nicholas and people in the dealership are rude. Don't buy a car here unless you want a lemon. They tell you, you buy the car as is but fail to tell you what's wrong with the car. Our whole process with this dealership was a joke. Will not recommend anyone to this dealership.

This place deserves this negative review! My experience with Toyota of Lancaster was incredibly…read morefrustrating and misleading. I sold my Toyota Tacoma to them after being told the process would be simple and that payment would be ready in about half an hour. Initially, everything went smoothly. They inspected the truck, finalized the offer, had me sign all paperwork, transferred ownership, and took possession of my vehicle. At the very end of the process, we were suddenly told the check would not be ready until the following evening and would need to be mailed unless we objected. This was never disclosed beforehand. We specifically explained that I needed the funds from the sale immediately in order to purchase another vehicle. After pushing back and explaining that we had been told payment would be ready shortly, they eventually came downstairs with a check. However, what they ALSO failed to disclose was that the check could not even be cashed for 24 hours because it would take that long to clear their own banking system. So to summarize: They took possession and ownership of my truck immediately, but I was left without access to the money for the vehicle I had just sold -- and none of this was communicated upfront. Had they been honest and transparent from the beginning about the timeline and banking delay, I could have planned accordingly. Instead, I wasted additional time driving an hour to the nearest Comerica Bank only to discover I still couldn't access my money. The lack of communication and transparency is beyond unacceptable.

I spent months researching and speaking to several dealerships across SoCal. Coming from Sales myself, aware of what can & can't work out, it was a relief to find out they aligned the same way and kept it real, down to the last beat, unlike other dealers. I say this as someone who weighs reviews and compares and dealt with dealers who sank their offers at the finish line by playing games. Trust me when I say from phone to in person to driving off the lot with our new 2026 Laramie 4x4, stop your search and let these two see what they can do for you, be honest with yourself and your current situation, and they will align with you. Thanks again guys, this ride is exactly what we were looking for.

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received at Hunter's Dodge while picking up my Jeep,…read morewhich has been in their possession since December 22, 2025. First, I want to acknowledge Chanin in the service department. Throughout this long and frustrating process, she consistently followed up with me, sent updates via text, and was kind and professional. She handled herself very well during a difficult situation. Unfortunately, my experience with the service manager, Courtney, was completely unacceptable. When I was notified that my vehicle was ready and asked to pick it up before 6 PM, I arrived around 4 PM. I was told the rental needed to be inspected. I was informed there were "too many crumbs" in the vehicle and that although they do not wash cars, I would either need to clean it or be charged $250. I had the rental for nearly three months. I immediately took it to a car wash, had it washed and vacuumed thoroughly, and returned it. I was then told I would still be charged $250 because I had signed a contract stating no dogs were allowed in the vehicle. Let me be extremely clear: I never put a dog in that car. Not once. I own two dogs, and if a hair transferred from my shoe, that is possible -- but there were no dogs in that vehicle. If there had been, it would have smelled like one. There was no excessive hair, and the car had just been professionally vacuumed. I was told that regardless of condition, the contract stated if the car was "dirty" I would be charged $250. $250 is an excessive and unreasonable cleaning charge, especially after I had just cleaned the vehicle. While I stepped outside to document the rental's condition with photos, I returned inside and overheard the manager, Courtney, yelling inappropriate names about me and stating that I "shouldn't have my effing dogs in the car." She did not realize I had walked back in and could hear her. That level of unprofessionalism from someone in a management position is unacceptable. I sincerely hope there are cameras in that lobby so this behavior can be reviewed. To make matters worse, when my own Jeep was returned to me after nearly three months in their possession, it was given back to me in unacceptable condition -- dirty, with no gas, and not charged. Additionally, my GPS system that I personally pay for had been disconnected without my authorization and left that way. After nearly 2 1/2 to 3 months in their care, to have my vehicle returned in that condition -- while being pressured over a $250 cleaning fee -- is extremely concerning. Aside from already dealing with multiple issues with this vehicle -- including EV charging errors ("Issue Detected - Check External Charging Station") and battery-related recalls -- this experience has been exhausting. I will be escalating this matter to corporate, as I will not tolerate being disrespected and spoken about in that manner. This situation needs to be investigated thoroughly. I expected far better from Hunter's Dodge. It is extremely concerning that Dodge appears to delete negative reviews from their Google page instead of addressing legitimate customer complaints.

I let him know what I was looking for, what current offers I qualified for, and he got me the car I wanted at a great deal. George made the process easy. I was far away, driving over 100 miles with my family, so I applied for the credit check online to get the process started and sent him the rest of the info needed via phone. He charged up the car in the meantime and got the paperwork started. I'd recommend George to anyone looking to buy a Chevy. I almost for got to mention Jorge, he handled the finance paperwork, explained everything thoroughly, and even gave my kid a piece of paper to draw on, keeping him entertained during the process. Definitely the best car buying experience I've had, and I've bought over 15 cars since I was 16. That's this critic's review.

I am writing this review as a 100% disabled American veteran who proudly served this country, and I…read morecan honestly say that my experience at Antelope Valley Chevrolet was one of the most dishonest and disappointing dealership experiences I have ever encountered. My family and I went to this dealership during Memorial Day weekend to purchase a pre-owned 2023 Tesla Model Y Long Range that was advertised for $32,511. We arrived ready to buy the vehicle based on the advertised price. At first, salesman James was respectful and professional, and I genuinely believe he understood how ridiculous this situation became. The real issue was the dealership's management and the aggressive, deceptive upselling tactics that followed. When we inspected the vehicle, we immediately noticed several issues. The vehicle had small door dings, improperly repaired paint chips, and even a cracked rear reflector light with pieces literally falling out of it. Because of the condition of the vehicle, we explained that we believed the price should be adjusted downward to something more reasonable and appropriate for the actual condition of the car. Instead of negotiating honestly, we were suddenly told the car had over $2,600 in mandatory "aftermarket products" added onto it. One of those products was a GPS tracking system. For anyone who knows Tesla vehicles, this makes absolutely no sense. Tesla vehicles already come factory-equipped with advanced GPS tracking and remote monitoring directly through the Tesla app. I literally showed them multiple Teslas that I own and demonstrated how the vehicles are already monitored in real time through Tesla's system. Charging customers extra for duplicate GPS technology is absurd. Then came the "door guards," which appeared to be nothing more than tiny adhesive strips on the doors -- for approximately $450. Next, they claimed the vehicle had paint protection installed. After personally inspecting the vehicle, I asked them to physically show me where this so-called paint protection product had been applied because there was absolutely no visible indication that anything had actually been done. The response I received was silence and a smile. That alone told me everything I needed to know. After we objected to these unnecessary and inflated add-ons, they told us they would "remove" them. But when they returned with the paperwork, the price was STILL $32,511 -- the exact same advertised price from the beginning. So what exactly was removed? This entire experience felt deceptive, manipulative, and intentionally misleading. It felt like a bait-and-switch style sales tactic designed to pressure consumers into accepting inflated charges and unnecessary products while refusing to acknowledge the actual condition of the vehicle being sold. What makes this even more disappointing is that this occurred during Memorial Day weekend while speaking to a 100% disabled American veteran who served this country. Instead of honesty, transparency, and professionalism, we were met with games, pressure tactics, and what appeared to be fabricated value in order to justify inflated pricing. Because of this experience, my family and I will NEVER return to this dealership again. Consumers deserve honest pricing. Consumers deserve transparency. Consumers deserve professionalism. This dealership failed in all three categories. I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to carefully inspect every vehicle, review every number, question every fee, and refuse to be pressured into unnecessary add-ons and questionable aftermarket products. This type of dishonest sales culture deserves to be publicly exposed so other families do not waste their time or get manipulated into paying thousands of dollars for unnecessary products and inflated pricing tactics.

Now within 3 days of my purchase I tried to cancel and return the vehicle but they would not return my money and only would trade me for another vehicle after a week of chasing them down. They would not show to their business after they sold me the car and one day I finally caught them there. They would only trade me a car as I mentioned and the second car was even worse the engine light, as well as other lights all came on the 3rd day but after I received that car. Again they would not show to their business or answer my calls. I got an estimate for the car that showed the transmission and motor were in bad condition and car needed about $3000 worth of repairs. I could not get ahold of them to return the car nor would they let me so I do not pay their excessive fees and they came and got the car. They then made up inflated charges to the tune of my whole down payment which is all the car is worth ($2000) and have the car and my money. By the way they change their business name often and move places of business as they are formerly known as Big Family Motors with horrible reviews. I offered to pay for the 2 months of car note I used it but the remainder should be returned to me. The car they sold me, that lovely piece of crap white 2013 Toyota Corolla in their ad photos. I wonder how many times they have sold it and took it back. They belong in jail.

The temperature gauge stayed in the cold area because of the failure. This all took place on a Sunday when everyone was closed. We looked up the Bakersfield Subaru and their ratings weren't very high and their phone service was not very friendly. Since we were traveling to Nevada, we went up through Tehachapi to antelope Valley where this Subaru dealer had higher ratings. We spent the night so that we could reach out first thing in the morning. Right from the first conversation on the phone we knew we made the right choice to come up over the mountain. I explained what we experienced with the car and provided the failure code and asked if she could check to see if the parts were in stock. Once the service person I was speaking to confirmed that the part was in stock, I asked if there was any way for us to get the car in for service, I also explained that we only had less than 12,000 miles on the car. She was very accommodating and set up the appointment for within the hour. Once we arrived at the dealer the excellent service continued. They took all the information and showed us the waiting area and then offered to drop us some where to eat when we asked about restaurants in the area. Within the hour we heard back from her and she confirmed what we told her about the failure code and that the repair would take around 4 hours. They also informed us that one of the rear shocks were leaking and that the total repair was going to be over $2200. I explained that we read there was a recall on the thermostat and asked them if they could get that covered by the factory since the car actually had less than 12,000 miles on it. She asked if we could wait until her manager was available and she would check with him to see what could be done. About 45 minutes later she came to us in the waiting area and said that they would cover both the thermostat and related parts along with the rear shock replacement however that we would need to wait for about 6 more hours. We agreed and started to hang around the show room. Maybe making some nervous . Our service person then came to us and offered a free rental car while we waited. We agreed and thanked her for going above and beyond. Since we were 300 miles from home we just drove around the area. When we returned our Outback was just getting done. We were extremely impressed with our service provided and especially the way our service writer Sayra Chavarin went above and beyond. This is truly cutting edge Customer Service! The other people at the dealership were very friendly and respectful. We will drive the 300 miles to purchase our next Subaru here at this dealership. Many thanks, David

Maybe pack snacks... and a map to a reputable Subaru dealer. My wife spent a week coordinating with a sales rep (Noe) about a specific vehicle. We confirmed the car, confirmed the appointment, confirmed the price was "negotiable," and committed most of our Saturday to drive 60 miles each way. You know -- normal things people do when they expect a dealership to be, well... honest. Am I the only one that finds it laughable that they chose "Trust" as part of the dealership name? Kinda like saying a cactus is cuddly! Here's how the dishonesty ramped up... minutes before our appointment (aka when we're basically pulling into the parking lot), we get a message: "Oh, the car isn't available for purchase yet -- it hasn't completed certification." Interesting timing, considering the car has been sitting in their inventory for over a month. Priorities I guess? But wait, the fun continues! We arrive, and suddenly Noe is nowhere to be found. Instead, we're handed off to another rep, Nathan Houston. Classic dealership relay race baton pass. Nathan was friendly enough while showing us the car, but when it came time to discuss price, the story changed so fast it gave us pro level whiplash! * The "negotiable" price? Suddenly not negotiable. ( I know shocking!) * The online price? Apparently the "absolute lowest"... except when they tried to quote us a higher price. * The explanation? Some mysterious documents claiming the dealership paid more than the advertised price (apparently they are a charity... disguised as a Subaru dealership). The convenient sales rep switch meant Houston could simply shrug and say he knew nothing about prior conversations. It felt less like buying a car and more like watching a live demonstration of "Bait & Switch 101." Or "Watching a masterclass in creative truth telling." Look, I get that dealerships still love the classic "Let me talk to my manager" routine. That's practically tradition. But the full bait-and-switch playbook in 2026? That's some retro dishonesty I didn't expect from a Subaru dealer. Given TAVS's already struggling online ratings, I'd hoped for better. Instead, we got a reminder that not all dealerships have moved past the old-school tactics. Bottom line: If you enjoy long drives, last-minute surprises, and pricing that changes depending on which salesperson you talk to -- TAVS might be your place. If you value transparency, honesty, and not wasting half your Saturday... look elsewhere. Don't take my word for it... check the VERIFIED reviews here.
