    Take ownership of one of their employees leaving a single tool in their service drive that ended up in our right rear tire. "We walked the drive and didn't see any tools lying around." Cause it was a single/individual tool and our tire found it. Check the video starting on Friday afternoon/evening (8/9) until we arrived on Saturday (8/9).

I was at Streets of Willow yesterday with the California Mazdaspeeds group when I came in to pit and noticed a very strong fuel smell coming from my engine bay. Popping the hood I noticed that my fuel line had somehow ruptured (we think it may have been rubbing on the back of a bolt coming through my EGR delete plate). Unfortunately, I didn't bring a spare fuel line, nor did anyone else have a spare on hand. And on a Saturday, who's going to be open? Certainly not the parts department down at the Mazda dealership. At the suggestion of one of the local enthusiasts who was there to watch and hang out, we called out to a local Lancaster automotive Facebook group, asking if anyone knew where I might be able to locate a fuel line. Within minutes one of the members was quick to respond recommending that I try Brandt Racing, which was just a quick 20 minute drive from Willow Springs. I called up the shop, got a quick answer, described what I needed, and was told to bring the line with me and that they could set me up with a temporary fix. We arrived at the shop where Gary Brandt came up to the counter to greet us. I showed him the busted fuel line and like a magician pulling a rabbit out of his hat, he slaps a near identical line on the counter. It was a braided break line with the same Dash 3 fittings and just a little longer to accommodate for the 90 degree bend on my failed line. It was totally unbelievable! We bought the line, got back to the track, installed it, primed the car and it started up with no signs of leaking. It was an automotive miracle! Since I didn't have a trailer, I decided to play it safe and keep the car in the pits for the remainder of the day. Without Brandt Racing and Gary's truly amazing service I would have been forced to shell out hundreds of dollars to stay another couple nights in a Lancaster hotel, awaiting a replacement part to arrive at the Mazda dealership, or who knows how much more to have my car towed 360mi back home. I cannot thank Gary and Brandt Racing Enterprises enough.

I stopped in today looking to get oil and filters for two different vehicles, a SUV and a motorcycle, but ended up leaving empty handed, and came close to earning myself a court case. The assistant manager there was rude, condescending and very unknowledgeable. There was a time when, and if you went into AutoZone, and the advertised special was out of stock, they would at least substitute a Fram brand of whatever, or some other house brand, and allow the customer to go on their merry way. This dude, however, wanted to act like a %#$&@, and be disrespectful. Fortunately for him, I finished my probation, completed my court ordered anger management courses, and decided to pull my debit card out of the terminal and go home before I did something that would have altered both our futures. I hereby swear, I will NEVER set foot in an AutoZone store ever again. Judging from all the 2 and 3 star averages for nearly every AutoZone in the Antelope Valley, I am not the only person who feels this way. I can't wait for them to go bankrupt like Blockbuster did when they too thought they had the market cornered and could treat their customers like crap. Then Netflix came along and demolished them. One day soon, somebody is going to create a website that can keep track of a customer's car and maintenance schedule and automatically send out tune up kits and fast shipping for one-off items, straight to their door. At which time the days of dealing with A-holes behind a counter who think they can talk to you in any kind of way will be over.

The staff were very welcoming and considerate! Joanna seeing the panic in my face assisted me immediately and she run a diagnostic on my car. She printed out the report and gave it to me. I bought the parts necessary and even recommended a mobile mechanic. In addition, she help me communicate with the mechanic that spoke limited English as my Spanish are just as limited also. Furthermore, I decided to buy an air filter for my car and she change my old filter with no hesitation! Joanna is very very knowledgeable about cars, provides exceptional customer service and is a truly beautiful human being! She made my visit to this store a memorable one and I can honestly say they gained a new loyal customer!!!! AutoZone is a good company and the employees of this store make it a great one!!!

    First, let me preface by saying I did not receive service. I arrived at the facility to get an…read moreestimate for a broken side mirror. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and then the gentleman behind the counter took a phone call and left me sitting in the lobby for 10 minutes while he helped another customer. I appreciate customer service, but I was there first, and felt that he could have taken a number and given a call back. At the conclusions of his phone call the gentleman walked outside to examine my problem. He immediately said that the housing on my passenger side rear view mirror have been broken and need to get replaced, but was not able to do so because it was an original BMW part, and he could not acquire it. Overhearing his telephone conversation with the estimate a few minutes prior, I recalled him saying he only used OEM parts. I was confused. When I question him why he would have trouble getting a OEM part when he only uses OEM parts he accused me of being rude, wish me a nice day and retreated back into his building. I said to him, "I'm not being rude but can you please explain to me why you can't get factory parts?" He refused to answer me, and opted to retreat and hide in his office. Honestly, I should have known that this business was suspect when I pulled up to the facility and saw that he still had a sign on the glass requiring his customers to put on a mask before entering the building. In all honesty, he did me a favor. I promptly went over to Vic's bimmer shop on West avenue I in Lancaster. I was greeted properly, offer the beverage, and got my problem promptly diagnosed. Unlike the inept Bimmer engineering, not only could they get OEM parts, they took my car in immediately with promise to have it complete the next day. You don't have to receive bad service to know that a business is not worth supporting. The only positive thing I can say about Bimmer Engineering, is that the gentleman was very friendly to me as he turned around, walked away, and all but locked the door behind him. If you're somebody who gets easily offended, or runs away and hides from the slightest amount of conflict, Bimmer engineering is right up your alley.
