Looking for that new Mazda product? Gotta love the commercials. We have been considering a small SUV and checked out the Diamond Mazda inventory and pricing. The GM Steve Akari was very kind when we spoke and was transparent as well as professional. We own two Fords and know that he also oversees that establishment. We are still considering options but really appreciated the hospitality and open conversation we had regarding options and other variables related to making a well informed decision. If you are in the Lancaster, Palmdale and surrounding areas go see Steve as he will guide you towards one of his top team members and oversee your deal to ensure satisfaction. Thanks Mr. Askari it was a pleasure talking with you. Highly recommended read more

SCAM. Will tack on "mandatory" dealer add-ons... Totaled to over $4400 in add-ons for the vehicle I was looking at... AVOID.

I had a great experience with Aman and Marco. They were both attentive and patient with all many questions. I felt comfortable with my search and during the process, which is why I had postponed going to a dealer. I didn't think I could get a car, and I left with one! Thank you Ryan who worked hard for me. read more

*DO NOT SHOP - WARNING* *DATA THEFT, RISK OF PERSONAL SAFETY, HARASSMENT* I had the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a dealership at Diamond Mazda. I texted the dealership that I will not be able to come in, post a phone call in the morning. I received a message saying they are willing to do an offsite test drive for me. I reached the location the next day, and no one showed up there. I then realized it was a BOT who arranged this meet up. AN AI who asked for ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AND DATA PRETENDING TO BE HUMAN. Mind you I did not ask for this test drive, it was OFFERED TO ME. What is worse is Diamond Mazda had no idea about this, no human oversight of the AI and has no controls over these bots. I had to call them to inform and they proceeded to gaslight me. BEWARE before interacting with them and sharing your data while buying a car. I am absolutely shocked and scared that Diamond Mazda uses such powerful tools such as AI and lets it run wild, ENDANGERING REAL human life. When I tried to complain, Marco the salesman refused to share number of the GM claiming he did not have such information...(ridiculous) and proceeded to harass me further, leaving me feeling unsafe and distressed in a location that the BOT made me come to. I have now filed complaints with govt authorities. I leave this as a CAUTION to anyone who is interested, Mazda has several dealerships, this one is NOT the one u should go to. There is a reason why their rating is so low - full of misrepresentation and malpractice of business. read more

Everything went swimmingly!! They gave me the best deal! Aman worked with us and made sure I was able to leave with the car that I wanted. The customer service was 10/10, and Rojan made sure I left happy and comfortable with everything. They truly made the experience worth it with how patient, understanding, and helpful they were throughout the entire process. Aman went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and made sure we found something that worked for me, and Rojan was incredibly kind and welcoming from start to finish he worked with my budget. Buying a car can be stressful, especially as a first-time buyer, but they made me feel supported and excited instead of overwhelmed. I'm so excited to start this next chapter with my new car, and I genuinely appreciate everything Aman and Rojan did for us. Thank you both so much! read more

Bought a certified used Mazda 3 for my daugther. Sale went well but there service department needs major improvements. They never answer there phone and when they do you get the run around. The key to my car needs to be replaced and for the past 3 months they have strung me along by changing the battery and small things like thy but still have the same issue. My daugther is in school in Santa Barbara and it's difficult to coordinate a service date. Just called today 12/30/24 and was told there is only one service manger and only she can make a service appointment but was out to lunch? How small of an operation is this service department. Looks like I'll have to make a trip to another Mazda dealership. Take a look at there reviews almost all point to a bad service department. read more

I purchased a Mazda CX5 4 weeks ago. The Service Due indicator does give not operate properly. The Service due mileage does not move. For example, 2700 miles to service your vehicle stays the same. This defect will void your vehicle as you dou not perform on time service. The service dept "recalibrated" the indicator at 2750 miles. They say it should indicate properly or bring it in for repair at $100 deductible. The drivers seat causes severe lower back pain. The sales manager says there is no warranty for that issue unless the seat does not operate properly. He states " buy a cushion an see if it fixes the problem." I had to see my doctor and loose a days wages. Long story short - Don't buy a mazda, buy an Audi. The sales manager owns a German car. JESS. read more

Wanted to take time to COMPLIMENT the Service Department at Diamond Mazda. First, Taylor was an excellent Customer Service Representative because she kept me informed of my vehicle's progress. She explained everything. The mechanic Juan Diaz, was exceptional, too. Not only did he email me a video showing me my vehicle inspection, he walked me thru all his concerns while I was at the service center. This way any needed repairs were explained to me where I can understand what needed to be done. Plus, Juan pointed out an issue that even the car's dashboard missed. This allowed me to correct the mistake before it became a major repair issue. I GREATLY appreciate that. It's refreshing to find an honest repair shop. I will definitely return for future service at Diamond Mazda. read more

We drove about 75 miles looking for a Mazda MX 5 Miata,in this specific dealer. We really like the Miata model dealer had to Ofer that that moment , was a red and convertible which we really loved. The sales person John were nice and attentive all the time, then he introduced to the manager Edwin. Edwin not only add $ 5,000 over the real value of the car, and saying that he already took $3000 of that value, trying to impress us but also he lied to us saying that this model, we only found it in this dealer in ALL estate of California Of course, we could not agree on the price but, the car was beautiful but it was extremely expensive We drove to Star Mazda in Glendale , we found the same type of car, $1000 less than the value of the car in antílope valley dealer and of course bought it from them Just the fact on lying to clients and trying to over sell a car Is disgusting. read more

Diamond Mazda's service department is terrible. If I could give them zero stars I would. They are dishonest and unprofessional. Having purchased my 2015 Mazda in the city of Tustin, I always took my car to Tustin Mazda for maintenance as they have always done an outstanding job as well as being fair and honest. Last month with the weather getting warmer I noticed that my air conditioning, while blowing air, did not blow cold air. My thought was I probably just needed Freon. Since I had recently moved to this area I decided to go to Diamond Mazda to get my air conditioner serviced. That was a mistake! The following discription was Diamond Mazda's diagnosis. Compressor not coming on, compressor very noisy and rattling inside, and zero pressure on high and low side. Stated that my car needed a new a/c compressor, expansion valve, dryer assy, and a high and low side hose due to leaking Freon. This they quoted would come to $3087.35. I knew this could not be correct. I am diligent about my scheduled maintenance services plus I know my car, how it sounds and how it runs. I told the service rep that I would get back to them and I walked away. I then called Tustin Mazda and spoke to Tony in the service department. Tony has been my service representative there for the past 7 years and he has earned my trust. I sent him the paperwork and the service video that Diamond Mazda had provided for me. He encouraged me to make the couple of hours drive to Tustin as the information that Diamond Mazda provided as well as their video was not aligning with what they said needed fixed. A few days later I made the long drive to Tustin. After the mechanic Tustin Mazda inspected the air conditioning here is what they determined. A/C system did not find any leaks, Used A/C machine performed leak check = Passed A/C system empty filled to spec, A/C blowing at 42 degrees. All it needed was Freon. Total price for air conditioning parts and labor was $270. Going to Tustin Mazda saved me $2817.35. Well worth the couple of hours of drive time. In addition I emailed Diamond Mazda's service manager and told him that I would be posting a negative review on Yelp regarding my poor experience with them and I never heard back. I guess reputation and honesty does not matter at Diamond Mazda. I will never again go to Diamond Mazda and I strongly suggest that you not go either. They are dishonest and unprofessional and they will take you for whatever they think they can get! read more

Worse customer service ever at the service department. The lady in the front pretends as if she is running Boeing. I came an hour early and asked her to please check me in and with a pretentious attitude she was like, I can't! I am all booked till 10! When I looked around, there was only 1 customer sitting and the place looked dead! That's what happens when small receptionists think they are the boss. They can kill a business just because they think that they have too much power. Plus receptionists are supposed to look good on the frontline. She looks like a witch with an irritating face. The absolute car buying experience nightmare come true, only caring about the bottom line and push whatever lies are necessary to get you onto their property. If you are coming from out of town, I caution you, think twice about making the trip. Good chance they don't have what you wanted over the phone, although they'll convince you that they do. For the past week I had been in contact with Mike C., Internet Sales Manager. He sold me through text on a CX-5 I had my eyes set on. So finally when I was ready to take him up on the offer he extended and before making the 90 mile drive, I called and confirmed with Mike multiple times during the call that the car I wanted was in fact available and that the offer still stood. He agreed and off I went to their dealership. Once I arrived in excitement, we get seated and that's where things go south. They told me the offer was not going to be honored because the trim they quoted me for was not available. They somehow made the mistake of overseeing that detail and they continued to add on excuses saying apparently I was only offered the discount because there was "something wrong" with the vehicle and it needed to be fixed. I should've known it was too good to be true. In that part it's my mistake. But now I am a believer that car sales people DGAF about you and only about making money. They could have found a way to honor the offer that was made. But they chose not to. Do not be fooled by these people at the end of the day they will not keep their word, even for someone that was willing to put down a large down payment and drove 90 miles back and forth. read more

Figuring out what to do when my lease came to an end was overwhelming. I was able to procrastinate on this decision further by extending my lease, but made no progress when the extension came to a close. At much too close to the deadline, I reached out to Diamond Mazda to discuss options. I was connected with the sales rep Amir, who pretty instantly made me feel at ease. His conversation style was warm and approachable, and I felt like I was in good hands. He worked with me to find a new lease for a great rate, and when he said his goal was to help me get the best deal I could, I believed him. I asked a lot of questions and made a ton of requests, and he was equally as kind and accommodating throughout. He even met me halfway to switch out the vehicles, so I didn't have to tough it out for a three hour drive. I'm grateful that I got to work with someone who made what could have been an anxiety riddled experience a smooth one. My partner's lease is up in a few months, and this interaction makes me confident in knowing she will also be in good hands with Amir and Diamond Mazda. Thanks for making the holidays that much happier! read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM UNLESS YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING MULTIPLE TIMES!!!They made promises and told us ALL service was covered which is what sold us on the car. Imagine that...a LIE brought my car in and only the oil change is covered. I was looking for a Mazda 3 hatchback for myself. However the situation in my life changed and instead started shopping for a vehicle for my mom. My mom always wanted a compact SUV. I already had an appointment with Sara Hile to look at the hatchback so I decided to keep the appointment and check out some other vehicles. Me and my wife got there and were greeted with such positive energy. Off to a great start! Sara was really nice and listening attentively to our needs and wants in a vehicle for my mom. We ended up really liking a CX-30. They didn't have one to sell on their lot so Sara and the manager Ramses called another dealership to get that car in! Wow. Really nice of them. I had other appointments to look at other cars so i left before the car arrived. I really loved the customer service here at Diamond. They went above and beyond to get me what I was looking for. Diamond Mazda must be DESPERATE to generate sales. I started to receive sales texts from them on my phone a couple months ago from them after buying a car about 7 years ago. I called and asked to be removed. Was told that it was a "happy birthday" text - please. Don't really care to develop a "personal" relationship and asked to be removed from call list to have my information purged to avoid future encounters. I was assured it would be done. Received more texts about two weeks ago. Called again to be removed and was assured it would be done. Received another today. This time I left a message for the General Sales Manager to get this resolved. Not removing the information and continuing to call is against CA law. "He is in a meeting. No one else is available." If you can back out of any transaction, sales or service, with Diamond Mazda, I recommend you do so unless you enjoy having your personal information used for years on end. Unethical, untrustworthy business that won't respond to reasonable requests preferring instead to skirt laws. Worst dealership and worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I would give 0 starts if possible. We drove 1.5 hours each way to check out a car on the lot that was exactly what we thought we had wanted, making it worth the drive with my two small children. After being rushed through the test-drive and not given time to check out the car in detail, which is important as it was a certified pre-owned, we then were taken to financing where the price given to us was $10k over the advertised list price, not including tax and license. After expressing out concern regarding the price and giving them our top price, they came back with an even higher price than they started with. Adding in ridiculous costs and being shady about it, trying to talking in circles. They were very rude and disrespectful to us and not to mention inconsiderate of our time as we had two small kids trying to keep entertained during all of this. We specifically advised them not to run our credit as their pricing and service was a joke and we were going elsewhere. Guess what, they ran out credit anyways, as I come to find out as I see an inquiry appear on my report. Beware, this is the type of place that give car salesmen a bad reputation as being unprofessional, shady and dishonest. read more

Sarah Hile is so patient and professional. I will for sure come back to her when it is time to buy again. She got me the best deal around!!

Car buying experience: I was in shock for three days after getting away from them. I went in to test drive a CX-5. Great car. I just wanted a different trim and color. Salesperson said they would try to get the car I wanted. Next day she calls me and says they have the car. I took 2 hours of vacation to go look at the car: That WASN'T there. She explains they found my car in the Fontana Mazda (one of the 8 dealerships I was talking with because of TrueCar). They'll have the car tonight. Okay, let's keep it local. My first question: out the door price. "Oh, no only finance can tell you that" Okay, game playing time. What payment do I want? I'm already pre approved at my credit union. What's the out the door price? If we can beat their offer will you go with us? Sure. What payment do you want? Less than$500. Credit application filled out. Comes back with $585 scribbled in a paper. What's the APR? What's the term? Only finance blah blah blah. I should have walked out. Knowing I have a lot for the down, I figure that will reduce the price. Fine. Turns out that Finance is inside the Ford dealership next door. Salesperson leaves to go get the car(!). Sit on Ford's couch for 45 minutes. It's now almost 6 pm. I should have walked out. Finance: $585 for 84 months at 5.65%. Did you even look at my credit (835)? I'm preapproved for 2.25 for 66 months at my credit union. And the out the door price is $18k more than the MSRP. I should have walked out. High pressure negotiation: saw the sales manager four times. I got them down to a number I could live with. I was punch drunk. I signed a contract. Final straw: a problem with the cashiers check for the down. I'm done. I walked out. The next day I get the call from salesperson. I don't want the car. 37 calls and texts later, standing firm. 2 weeks later I got my CX-5 from Hello Mazda in TEMECULA. No pressure at all. Worth the drive. read more

Dealership was great before the new management, especially their service department. Ever since the new ownership change new employees were hired and their best service guy justin left (he was amazing, very informative, reliable, and honest). Their new service lady, Ashley, is the worst. She displays a nasty attitude and is not friendly. When asking for basic information of the vehicle repairs she appears to be uninformed of the repair itself and does not know what she is talking about. Not only that, when requesting for more information she will argue with you. I brought my car in recently for an oil change and multi point inspection. During the inspection, everything was marked green and no problems were assessed. Come to find out, two weeks later, my car would not start. I tried jump starting it and still would not start. I look at the battery terminals, they are heavily corroded. What a great inspection, right? When calling them up to ask about what happened, Ashley blamed anything could have happened in the two weeks (lol). She continued to argue stating nothing can be done without towing it back in and they did not want to own up to their mistake of improperly inspecting my vehicle. Instead, they shifted the blame and frustration onto the customer. I ended up replacing the battery myself and coughed it up as a one time accident on their end, no worries. Two weeks go by, a check engine light appears. The code is only a p0304 which means it's only a cylinder 4 issue which requires a spark and maybe a coil. I take it in to get it serviced and they tack on a bill of $1600!!!! The bill was charging me for all 4 sparks and coils and intake seals, and sea foam!!!!!!!! When asking for more basic information about how the intake seals are damaged for a car with only 82k miles, she deflected the blame and said "come get your car and get it serviced elsewhere, I don't want to argue back and forth with you". What the hell!!!!! I'm starting to think they damaged the seals themselves as they could not give an upfront honest answer!! For a 1600 dollar bill I expect to get some more information and not this type of treatment. As a loyal Mazda customer with three Mazdas, I can confirm that I will not be going to this dealership ever again!!!! Hello Mazda of Valencia is not too far from here and they also do not speak highly of them as they are aware of their behaviors! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! Johnny does not approve 0/10 read more

I just purchased a used vehicle from this dealership while trading in my luxury SUV. This dealership is mediocre WITH THE EXCEPTION of Chris Spears! He is the only reason I completed the trade-in and purchased the vehicle. He managed tasks big (negotiations) and small (simply putting my plates on the car in sweltering heat). He was honest, sincere, absolutely positive and had an "all is possible attitude." We were pleasantly surprised by how he worked with us from the moment he greeted us by name when we arrived and he was outside waiting for us until the moment we drove off the lot. He checked on us while we were in finance and was a support through parts of the purchase process that were 1-2 star worthy such as the finance process. 1-2 STAR RATING: If there was any room for improvement it most certainly is in the finance department. Here we felt a significant shift where disorganization, miscommunication, and a sense of our needs not being understood occurred where it absolutely had not been an issue with Chris. I would suggest having Chris stay with you through the Finance process or have Terrel on the phone as you navigate the paperwork as the finance lady seemed rather misinformed and discombobulated. This process took the longest I have ever experienced (I have gone through the finance process 5 times in my life). The finance lady was also poor at communicating hiccups in the process (e.g. a loan being declined due to not living in the same area as the credit union), did not seem to "know her audience" with regards to telling her we were not interested in various things she offered repeatedly, or not seeing particular discounts in the final bill. read more

I was recently in the market for a new car, and I must have visited at least 7 or 8 dealerships before finally making a decision. While Mazda was what I wanted to end up with, there were definitely more affordable options at other dealerships. But what solidified my decision to go with Mazda was the fantastic customer service I received. The salesperson Chris Spears, and his manager Terrell, were both incredible. Both of them gave me great, personal attention from the start. They answered all of my questions, took their time to work with me, showed me multiple options, and were very transparent the entire time. I never felt pressured or like I was being taken advantage of like with other dealerships. When I made my final decision I was not only happy, but I felt like I had gotten a great deal. Diamond Mazda - My new car!! - Car Dealers Near Me - Lancaster, California

Lousy customer service they do not stand behind their product. I bought a certified used car. Shortly there after I realized the car had transmission issues. I have documentation from Mazda stating that it was a recall service issue. I brought it in for repairs three times they said that an all wheel drive trans does that. I asked could I just do an even exchange. What I was told by the finance manager Terrell that I would have to do a whole new purchase. They said they would buy the car back but what was owed on the newly purchased care would be rolled into the new car purchase. Maybe I'm old fashioned if a product has an issue you exchange it. If you want a good selection and a better chance at good customer service. Do yourself a favor drive over the hill to Galpin Mazda. Better selection and better service. I drove an hour to buy a used car from Diamond Mazda. I drive it and tell the salesperson I'll take the car at the price advertised on their web site and CarGuru. I had noticed a price $4000 higher on the car. The salesperson tells me that there is $4000 of dealer added accessories. I told her I didn't want them and that I wanted the car at the advertised price. I then spoke with the sales manager who said he is happy to sell the car at the advertised price but I have to buy the additional items in order to buy the car. He points me to the disclaimer listed under "details" on his web site. That disclaimer said nothing about added items on the car. He then admitted that they buy these cars and list them for way under Kelly Blue Book for a certain amount of time so they can "get eyes on it". Then they increase the price online which he said they are doing tomorrow. He then said that he is exercising his right to not sell me the car for the advertised rate. The sales person told me that they add a bunch of garbage items to every car they sell. In my opinion, this type of conduct is a clear violation of CA Business and Professions Code 17500 which can lead to criminal and civil prosecution. As I saw it, the conduct of this dealer puts all potential customers at risk. Read some of the other recent reviews and you start to see a pattern. I was happy to see Patti K went to Hello Mazda in Temecula. They are one of the few dealers who do not mark up their new cars. read more

I had shopped around many dealers online to look for a decent deal on a 2019 CX-5 NEW (purchased Feb 2020), as they were trying to sell these models. I stumbled across AV Mazda and a new CX-5 on the lot that had all the packages I was looking for. I first began engaging with Edwin, who was very responsive with everything-- which I did appreciate. We worked out all the numbers and then came into the dealership to pick up our car. Upon arrival, the power liftgate would not open. The dealer advised us that we can take it to ANY Mazda to have the issue repairs since it is under warranty and their master tech was not in. Okay, that is a pain, but it is what it is. We drove over an hour for this vehicle and had a different Mazda down the street from us. We then get into financing with Ashley (her office was out of the Ford dealership since they work together). She was initially nice and friendly. Then came the time to sell the maintenance package, the warranty, and the GAP. I kindly declined and said we did not need those. She then said again the importance of GAP and the warranty because "you never know". I said I previously worked in finance and know the up-sell and profit off of these packages so I would like to pass. She then threw in a snide remark of "hmmm, maybe that is why you are not in finance anymore". I wrapped up the paperwork and got out of there. Called the local Mazda dealership and they advised it had to go back to AV Mazda for the liftgate because it is a specific dealer issue because they did not properly remove the alarm. So back we go, one hour each way, to fix this issue. The service side was super nice and helped fix the issue promptly. +1 star for the service side. However, I would not return to this dealer again. SIDE NOTE: My brand new CX-5 had the transmission replaced due to failure, but it was covered under warrantly luckily. It only has 1,713 miles on it. read more
