    Truck that motor was installed
    Jeremie J.

Well after having a motor installed at this location and it going pretty horribly wrong returning over 7 different times and being sold over 40 thousand dollars in repairs I still have a truck that is back in there location with a check engine light on oh not to mention the fact they installed a motor forgot to put bolts in transmission and charged me another 6k because they made a mistake on top of that manually forced a regen on a dpf filter after telling me they were going to remove and clean they didn't do what they said they would verbally then altered a invoice stating I declined dpf replacement no they told me I didn't need to now I'm having problems with egr and dpf also forgot to mention there mechanic told me to find a more competent shop while dropping off my truck for the 7 th time and told me that in front of the entire office as there faces dropped I now have my truck back at location because no other shop wants to touch there mishap if things change I will update my review but so far diamonds cut deep It's important to have clear communication with a customer going into a engine replacement so that they are fully aware not be interested in shop profits and numbers I feel as if I wasn't made aware of all issues and expected ford to fix whatever was wrong for the amount I've spent at this point it would of been better to purchase a new truck again the conversation came up and the person helping me said it's cheaper to fix this one

    $3500 in BS markups

Don't do business with any dealership that tries to add on $3500 worth of BS markups. This R.E.D. Alert crap that they are putting on is a blinking light that probably cost them $50 and they're trying to charge customers $1000 for it. Another $1k for little stickers under your door handle. Another $500 for stickers on your windows. Another $1k for polish. It's borderline fraud and in any sane country it would be illegal. Dealerships have outlive their usefulness. Stop putting up with this crap

I had reached out as I was interested in a Ranger Raptor they had, I was originally talking to Garrison who I will say was great to deal with!! However the floor manager & a person by the name of Tony were well I don't even know haha, have a read for yourself this was an exchange between Tony & myself. Garrison you're awesome!! Edited, but this was still with someone at your dealership named Tony.

When buying the vehicle, the salesman was Amazing...was great at sharing all the features of the Mache. Even drove it to my home at night so I didn't have to pick it up with someone the next day. When looking over the car the next day, I sent him photos of this odd film on the top of the vehicle. I didn't see it at night. I wasn't sure what it was or how to get it off. With the great service they provided before, I was hoping he would say bring it in...our detailer must have missed a spot. NO RESPONSE. I waited a couple of weeks and decided to call the dealership directly. The salesman on the phone answered very upbeat until I explained the situation. He didn't even have the decency to transfer me to someone else after I explained the situation of the film on the top of the car that would not come off. HE JUST HUNG UP ON ME. I thought, no way someone in customer service just hangs up, I must be in a bad area and it was disconnected. So I called back. A different salesman answered, I explained the situation and asked if they can help as the detailer missed the film that must have been a part of the protection film when the car was transported in. Again, HE HUNG UP. I will NEVER go to Diamond Ford again. What is funny is that I have a 4 car household, 3 of which are Fords. I would rather pay the extra money and find a dealership that actually cares for their customers beyond the sales transaction. I finally asked a professional detailer what they recommended. After hours of rubbing, the film finally came off. No thanks to Diamond Ford.

Break fluid leak after they did the "inspection"

They ended up asking us to leave a good review and told us they would give us full tank of gas for free I drove to the dealership and they told us no when we tried getting in contact with Erick for a whole week no response. Also told them about the bad job they did to fix the misfire instead of replacing all of the injection coil they only replaced two and he acted like he didn't care. So I'm keeping my honest review and not a fake 5 star!

I sold my Toyota Tacoma to them after being told the process would be simple and that payment would be ready in about half an hour. Initially, everything went smoothly. They inspected the truck, finalized the offer, had me sign all paperwork, transferred ownership, and took possession of my vehicle. At the very end of the process, we were suddenly told the check would not be ready until the following evening and would need to be mailed unless we objected. This was never disclosed beforehand. We specifically explained that I needed the funds from the sale immediately in order to purchase another vehicle. After pushing back and explaining that we had been told payment would be ready shortly, they eventually came downstairs with a check. However, what they ALSO failed to disclose was that the check could not even be cashed for 24 hours because it would take that long to clear their own banking system. So to summarize: They took possession and ownership of my truck immediately, but I was left without access to the money for the vehicle I had just sold -- and none of this was communicated upfront. Had they been honest and transparent from the beginning about the timeline and banking delay, I could have planned accordingly. Instead, I wasted additional time driving an hour to the nearest Comerica Bank only to discover I still couldn't access my money. The lack of communication and transparency is beyond unacceptable.

I almost for got to mention Jorge, he handled the finance paperwork, explained everything thoroughly, and even gave my kid a piece of paper to draw on, keeping him entertained during the process. Definitely the best car buying experience I've had, and I've bought over 15 cars since I was 16. That's this critic's review.

We came in specifically because Antelope Valley Chevrolet's own website advertised a clear price for the exact vehicle we wanted (2026 Chevrolet Traverse LT, same VIN/stock number as the listing we screenshot). The advertised price was around $38,231 with their posted discounts. In-store, the numbers they presented were nowhere close. Instead of honoring the advertised pricing or clearly explaining, in writing, which discounts we didn't qualify for, we were pushed into a payment-focused conversation while the real selling price stayed inflated. On top of that, the deal sheet included thousands in dealer-installed add-ons (Cilajet paint sealant, Ghost Shield door edge/door cups, and an ELO GPS/theft product). We stated clearly we did not want those items and asked for a buyer's order with the advertised selling price and standard TTL/doc only. We were met with delays, vague answers, and a lack of transparency. We repeatedly requested an itemized out-the-door breakdown and it felt like they were doing everything possible to avoid showing clean numbers. Financing was another major issue. Jess was prequalified through Capital One and we explicitly asked that our credit be run only through Capital One one time. Despite that, we later saw indications that additional credit checks were run. We have requested a copy of any signed credit authorization and a list of every lender our information was submitted to, because this is not what we agreed to. The worst part was the customer service from the manager, James Gonzolas. He was rude, repeatedly interrupted us, and wouldn't let us finish explaining what we were requesting (a transparent breakdown and adherence to their own advertised price). He told us he had "no obligation" to help because we didn't buy a car, called us rude, and escalated the interaction instead of solving the problem. That is not acceptable behavior for someone in a management role and it matched the overall tone of the experience. We left because we couldn't get a straightforward, honest deal that matched what brought us in the door. If you're considering this dealership, protect yourself: 1. Screenshot the exact online listing with VIN/stock number before you go 2. Demand the itemized buyer's order/out-the-door number in writing before discussing monthly payments 3. Put your credit instructions in writing (who can run it, how many times, and with which lender) Transparency and respect shouldn't be this hard. We won't be returning, and I can't recommend buying here based on this experience.

The temperature gauge stayed in the cold area because of the failure. This all took place on a Sunday when everyone was closed. We looked up the Bakersfield Subaru and their ratings weren't very high and their phone service was not very friendly. Since we were traveling to Nevada, we went up through Tehachapi to antelope Valley where this Subaru dealer had higher ratings. We spent the night so that we could reach out first thing in the morning. Right from the first conversation on the phone we knew we made the right choice to come up over the mountain. I explained what we experienced with the car and provided the failure code and asked if she could check to see if the parts were in stock. Once the service person I was speaking to confirmed that the part was in stock, I asked if there was any way for us to get the car in for service, I also explained that we only had less than 12,000 miles on the car. She was very accommodating and set up the appointment for within the hour. Once we arrived at the dealer the excellent service continued. They took all the information and showed us the waiting area and then offered to drop us some where to eat when we asked about restaurants in the area. Within the hour we heard back from her and she confirmed what we told her about the failure code and that the repair would take around 4 hours. They also informed us that one of the rear shocks were leaking and that the total repair was going to be over $2200. I explained that we read there was a recall on the thermostat and asked them if they could get that covered by the factory since the car actually had less than 12,000 miles on it. She asked if we could wait until her manager was available and she would check with him to see what could be done. About 45 minutes later she came to us in the waiting area and said that they would cover both the thermostat and related parts along with the rear shock replacement however that we would need to wait for about 6 more hours. We agreed and started to hang around the show room. Maybe making some nervous . Our service person then came to us and offered a free rental car while we waited. We agreed and thanked her for going above and beyond. Since we were 300 miles from home we just drove around the area. When we returned our Outback was just getting done. We were extremely impressed with our service provided and especially the way our service writer Sayra Chavarin went above and beyond. This is truly cutting edge Customer Service! The other people at the dealership were very friendly and respectful. We will drive the 300 miles to purchase our next Subaru here at this dealership. Many thanks, David

Maybe pack snacks... and a map to a reputable Subaru dealer. My wife spent a week coordinating with a sales rep (Noe) about a specific vehicle. We confirmed the car, confirmed the appointment, confirmed the price was "negotiable," and committed most of our Saturday to drive 60 miles each way. You know -- normal things people do when they expect a dealership to be, well... honest. Am I the only one that finds it laughable that they chose "Trust" as part of the dealership name? Kinda like saying a cactus is cuddly! Here's how the dishonesty ramped up... minutes before our appointment (aka when we're basically pulling into the parking lot), we get a message: "Oh, the car isn't available for purchase yet -- it hasn't completed certification." Interesting timing, considering the car has been sitting in their inventory for over a month. Priorities I guess? But wait, the fun continues! We arrive, and suddenly Noe is nowhere to be found. Instead, we're handed off to another rep, Nathan Houston. Classic dealership relay race baton pass. Nathan was friendly enough while showing us the car, but when it came time to discuss price, the story changed so fast it gave us pro level whiplash! * The "negotiable" price? Suddenly not negotiable. ( I know shocking!) * The online price? Apparently the "absolute lowest"... except when they tried to quote us a higher price. * The explanation? Some mysterious documents claiming the dealership paid more than the advertised price (apparently they are a charity... disguised as a Subaru dealership). The convenient sales rep switch meant Houston could simply shrug and say he knew nothing about prior conversations. It felt less like buying a car and more like watching a live demonstration of "Bait & Switch 101." Or "Watching a masterclass in creative truth telling." Look, I get that dealerships still love the classic "Let me talk to my manager" routine. That's practically tradition. But the full bait-and-switch playbook in 2026? That's some retro dishonesty I didn't expect from a Subaru dealer. Given TAVS's already struggling online ratings, I'd hoped for better. Instead, we got a reminder that not all dealerships have moved past the old-school tactics. Bottom line: If you enjoy long drives, last-minute surprises, and pricing that changes depending on which salesperson you talk to -- TAVS might be your place. If you value transparency, honesty, and not wasting half your Saturday... look elsewhere. Don't take my word for it... check the VERIFIED reviews here.

BEWARE - very unethical dealership…read more The General Manager, Nicholas Douglas, came off as the epitome of a sleazy, gaslighting used car salesman. Here's the backstory: Over the phone, the dealership's sales lead Antonio and I negotiated a price of $8,500 for a Mitsubishi Mirage. Antonio said he'd put the deal together and call me right back. A full day passed, and I never heard from him. (Red flag #1.) I called back in and spoke to Nicholas, who reneged on the $8,500 price (red flag #2), but said I could still buy the vehicle for $9,200. I agreed and drove 90 minutes to the dealership. When I got there, the car was missing several of its advertised features, including run flat tires, Bluetooth capability, and keyless entry. Were I to purchase all these features from a third party after the fact, they would cost up to $3,700. For the keyless entry, Nicholas said he could bring over a specialist to add in the feature for $300. When I asked if he'd take that $300 off the price of the car, he refused, saying I "already had a good deal." I reminded him that he had already raised the price by $700 from Antonio's quote, and that this was before I was aware the car was missing numerous features listed in their online listing. Nicholas said he wasn't responsible for the listing's content because I viewed it on CARFAX, and not on the official Valley Auto Center site, which had the "correct information." I subsequently pulled up the listing on his web site, which, not surprisingly, falsely stated the car is equipped with run flat tires, Bluetooth capability, and keyless entry. I have attached a screenshot of this. Nicholas then doubled down on the sleazy, saying, "I've been in the car business for eight years, and this is the first time a customer has ever had a problem with the fact a vehicle was missing some of the features we listed online." He was literally suggesting that every time he's had to tell a customer the car they came in to see didn't have all its advertised features, they took no issue with this. When I challenged Nicholas on making such a ludicrous claim, he doubled down and said, "It's true, I swear on my children's lives." (So gross.) When I asked him to confirm that some of the car's other advertised features were accurate, he sidestepped, and said, "Look, this is a good car and you're getting a good deal. If you don't want it, don't buy it." I didn't purchase the car, and will never be returning to this dealership.

Im Mike S, I bought a 98 Chevy Tahoe 4×4. I paid cash for the Tahoe. The manager there is a vary…read morerude individual, he is the meaning of a used car salesman. A great liar, customer service means nothing to him, it's all about the mighty dollar. They are vary good at putting a bandaid on the vehicles to get it to pass your inspection but watch out within a hundred miles, everything on your car will start having problems. He sells the cars as/is and has you sign a statement of that, you can't bring the car back if you have problems. Vary dishonest crook.

They told me because of my credit no one else would finance me and pressured into the sale. I was reluctant to sign the paperwork because they were charging me as if they car was brand new. After about a few days the car start shaking horribly and I felt ripped off the interior was all damaged and stuff missing inside the car but he assured me it ran well. Now within 3 days of my purchase I tried to cancel and return the vehicle but they would not return my money and only would trade me for another vehicle after a week of chasing them down. They would not show to their business after they sold me the car and one day I finally caught them there. They would only trade me a car as I mentioned and the second car was even worse the engine light, as well as other lights all came on the 3rd day but after I received that car. Again they would not show to their business or answer my calls. I got an estimate for the car that showed the transmission and motor were in bad condition and car needed about $3000 worth of repairs. I could not get ahold of them to return the car nor would they let me so I do not pay their excessive fees and they came and got the car. They then made up inflated charges to the tune of my whole down payment which is all the car is worth ($2000) and have the car and my money. By the way they change their business name often and move places of business as they are formerly known as Big Family Motors with horrible reviews. I offered to pay for the 2 months of car note I used it but the remainder should be returned to me. The car they sold me, that lovely piece of crap white 2013 Toyota Corolla in their ad photos. I wonder how many times they have sold it and took it back. They belong in jail.
