Typical games: Looked at a car and was handed off to a higher level sales person. Quoted price was 31k. Then he tells me it has had a paint protection applied ("military grade") , anti theft markings on all the major assemblies, and a special "anti collision" device that flashes the 3d brake light . All this jumped the price up past 4 thousand dollars. Fact: Ford dealers use the term "military grade" and it means nothing (busted when they tried it on the 2012 pickups as having military grade aluminum) They keep trying the lie on everything else. I usually do my oil and filter changes, but I always take my truck in for alignments. Tool my truck in a few months ago for an oil change and tire alignment due to an out of town emergency. Today I opened my hood to change my oil out at 3,000 miles just to find the cover missing. Sucks to experience this as it is a breach of trust and reliability. Based off the reviews, I should have researched prior to taking my truck in. I recommend you check everything in the hood prior to driving off. read more

BUYERS BEWARE !! THIS DEALERSHIPS ARE CROOKS AND WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY IF YOU AREN'T PAYING ATTENTION !!! In summary, they will agree with you on a set price verbally but when it comes down to signing on the dotted line they will add additional fees on top of that out the door price that you agreed on.. On 01/09/025. I called and spoke to Taylor over the phone about a 2017 Toyota 4Runner that I saw online. He mentioned to me that "my presence is my leverage" (as all dealers always say) I figured you know what Ill make the 1 hour drive up there and see what we can work out because I really liked this car. When I drove up there we began talking price, I made it very clear to him that before running my credit I wanted to talk about the listed price and agree on a OUT THE DOOR PRICE + dmv title and taxes only. I was made aware they had $2900 on top of the listed price for "ADD ONS" that the dealer took upon themselves to add to the vehicle before a purchase was made. I made it explicitly clear that I did not want to pay for those add ons and when they said that they couldn't remove them than I mention to them to give me a discount on the listed price to even out that cost. After spending over 2 hours negotiating back and forth with Taylor and his floor manager ( black older gentleman) we finally came to an agreement of the out the door price to be $36,200 + title and taxes. They than brought me a print out of the break down and I noticed there was an additional fee of $1800 when I asked them what that fee was they said "DONT WORRY ABOUT THAT NUMBER, THAT IS ON US NOT ON YOU" . Even though it seemed a bit confusing I trusted them, they even had me sign that print out document. When it was time to go to the Finance manager, where all the legal documents are signed. I thoroughly went through the Contract and noticed that on top of the $32,600 , which was the agreed amount, there were other hidden fees added, ultimately those fees added up to $1800 ( which is that number they told me not to worry about and made me sign on the print out) when I was Romero, the finance person, what that fee was and If I was being charged for that. He acknowledged that yes I was being charged that. I immediately informed him that that was not the agreement I had made between myself, Taylor and the black gentleman, which I believe was the floor manager. He then told me to wait at his office while he went to figure it out. At that point I was already at the dealership for over 3 hours and I was getting fed up with all the games they were playing ( there was more misleading things that happen that I am leaving out as it is not as important as to what is about to happen). I decided not to wait in the office and followed Romero , where he went and met with Taylor, The black gentleman, and the Sales Manager Reza Rejaeian. When I walked inside they all just stared at me without saying a thing. I then directed my attention towards Reza, and told him Why I was being charged an additional $1800 on the agreed price. He then told me I agreed on that fee since I signed the printed paper ( which was the one they misled me and said not to worry about that cost) . I told him that wasn't the deal and I Ripped the paper in pieces as it meant nothing and I was misled by manipulation. Than the black gentleman interuppted and said " but you agreed on the monthly payment" at that point I Told him the monthly payment is irrelevant as I told him that I first wanted to discuss the out the door price and not the monthly payment which was secondary. I then told Reza that this was not how you conduct business, that this is shady way of doing business and people are putting their trust on them only to be screwed over on the back end. Immediately at that point Reza began yelling at me saying He didn't care! I told him I no longer wanted to buy the car and and that I was going to report him and write a review and then began shouting GET OUT OF HERE!! We've been to Diamond Ford a few times, always for warranty work and recalls, and never had an issue. We brought our vehicle in for more work under warranty in mid-November and the vehicle was there for 2 weeks. When picking the vehicle up we noticed scuffs and a deep scratch on one wheel. The wheel was noticeably dirtier than the others and looked to have possibly had something splashed/spilled on it that dried onto the wheel. This vehicle has been hand washed by me & garaged its entire life. I'm confident the damage occurred while in Diamond Ford's care. Unfortunately I can't prove it happened there and they can't prove it didn't. Unfortunate situation to say the least. We brought it to their attention before leaving and a week later, all they offered to do was wash the car. Obviously that's not happening as we've lost all trust and faith in them, so they won't be putting hands on our vehicles again. read more

DIAMOND FORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT I have received car service and maintenance from Diamond Ford for approximately 2.5 years, and all my experiences were absolutely terrible! I would have never returned after the first visit, but it was the only option under my vehicle warranty, and there are no other Ford dealerships nearby. It was so much better before Diamond took over. Previously, service was handled in the "quick lane" building, and my service advisor, Keri Spencer, was amazing! I have nothing positive to say about any recent service carried out by Diamond Ford in their main service area. The service department /service advisor area is not only extremely uncomfortable, but it's not even functional for any purpose necessary. I'm pretty sure it was previously a back storage room closet or something. No one knows where to stand, if there is a line, or if you need to check in with someone. There is little to no space, so you're always in someone's way. There is nowhere to sit or set a cup, purse, or phone. Paperwork is stacked up in random piles that sometimes fall on the floor because the service advisors have a desk the size of a TV tray. The advisors themselves seem entirely overwhelmed. I can't blame them because it's a disorganized, free-for-all with random people/techs/personnel and customers walking in and out of the space. Their desk phones are constantly ringing, and the advisors are constantly running back and forth from their podium to the technician shop area for answers. The environment they are dealing with causes irritable attitudes. You can tell they are not happy to see you when you arrive. They never call me back with a follow-up, and I have never ONCE been advised of a "time" that I should return to pick up my car. To top it off, no one knows anything about automotive mechanics there. I mean, not even the basics. I have had numerous return visits over the same issue. Several were never solved and were nothing but a complete waste of my money and time. The car rental place they are associated with (in the Coldstone parking lot) is a joke. They have little to no TINY cars for selection and don't have a designated area to wash or clean the vehicles, so best believe that your rental will be filthy when you get it. I spent so many days without a car due to repeat service appointments, and for what? To never have the issues fixed in the end. Recently, I moved out of the AV, and "magically," the Ford service department I now go to fixed all three unsolved problems in a day. They even had a place for me to sit with the advisor. I drove from Bakersfield to look at a used truck in their inventory. The internet price made it worth the drive. I met with Big Mike and did a test drive. Trouble started during price negotiations. I had been pre-approved by my credit union but they ran their own check for the options contract. I must have been approved for a high amount because they came back with the truck 17k higher than what the internet price was. Wow. The sales team jacking up the price with useless add-ons. Door protection, paint protection, anti-theft GPS, a blinking red light to prevent rear end collisions, all things I didn't ask for. This turned a 36k truck into a 53k truck. No thank you. I told them that I didn't want any of the upgrades they had listed. They removed some and came back. I told them but they still refused to remove all of them. Then the manager, Alex, came by to "help" with the negotiating and was a creep. He told my wife that she had "warm hands." He tried to tell me I was getting such a great deal (yeah dude, that's why I drove from Bakersfield) and that they shouldn't have to lower the price beyond where we were at. So, I ended up walking out of the dealership. Big Mike came out and asked if I'd buy it if they would remove all the upgrades. Nope, they lost all credibility in my eyes. In the end, I came ready to buy a 36k truck and they weren't willing to let it go for less than 42k. Avoid this place like the plague. Typical dealership nonsense markups and negotiations that are a waste of time. Listen to the other reviews here, too. I bought a truck in Valencia the same day. TLDR: they played stupid games and won no prizes. Update: Frankie from Palmdale called me the next day and was very polite and apologized for the situation. I recently purchased a used Ford F-150 at Diamond Ford and everyone I met with in the purchasing loop was just great - from the sales rep, sales mgr, finance mgr, and general mgr. They all were very friendly and always professional, answering any and every question I had, never with any kind of pressure. Through the entire process, I only had lingering issues about the extended warranty but their Customer Relations manager, Marissa, took the info I gave her, ran down the facts, coordinated with all parties involved, and got back to me with an agreeable resolution in just a few hours! Amazing response time!! I even had one follow up question and she ran it down and offered an agreeable resolution even faster than the first time. I will say that this dealership did reach out quickly when I inquired about this 2022 F 150. The advertisement says it has 174 miles on it. So I took the time to try to keep my business local. No longer. You see in 2024 a 2022 truck that has 6500 miles and some change IS NOT NEW. While I realise that the blackwidow package was going to up the price, I refuse to pay a new car price for a Used car. The floor manager said the truck was a demo but still new becasue it has never been registered. Hmmmmmm 6500 miles seems pretty used to me, but I digress. This is false pretenses or dare I say false advertising. I will continue to look for a truck, but I cannot see myself buying from Diamond Ford. My suggestion..... Don't waste your time. read more

Purchased my truck from Colley Ford in Glendora, CA, which is a small but family-owned dealership where I was treated with respect. Then, I started going to Diamond Ford Lancaster for service seeing as Glendora is a bit of a drive. Took five visits over several months to get my corrupted gateway module reprogrammed. After another visit, the cab of the truck smelled strongly of gasoline for several weeks. Oil changes and tire rotations take several hours. Often promised to have my truck back within a couple hours and that is always incorrect, which is an inconvenience to me and my team at work. I see that Diamond Ford opened a Palmdale location. I'm going to try one more time at that location. If I have the same terrible customer service, I'll gladly return to Colley Ford in Glendora. They treat you with a mom-n-pop shop style of respect and gratitude whereas Diamond Ford Lancaster gives you the "Where else are you gonna go?" attitude. This place sucks. read more

I have not driven my F-250 diesel for over 2 years. Due to the batteries being dead, I had my truck towed to now, Diamond Ford for their replacement and all other maintenance services (all fluids and filter changes). My assigned Service Advisor, Barret Howle, gave me a quote of $672.75 to complete the battery service as well as all other services agreed to. The following day my service advisor notified me that my truck was ready. I arrived around 2 p.m. to pay the bill and take my truck home. When I was presented the bill, to my surprise and utter shock it totaled 1,140.22. AND I was never notified of this discrepancy until I arrived to pay my bill! I asked this service advisor why such of a discrepancy and he explained that he forgot to add the cost of the batteries. What?!!!, the very reason I had my truck towed there was specifically for the batteries. Also, this service advisor 'low-balled' the cost of the air filter on the estimate; estimate: $39.95; actual cost: $86.36. I paid the bill and assessed my truck; the dashboard showed a 'Low Tire Pressure' warning. I brought that to their attention and they stated I needed to drive the truck for a few miles and it would adjust. However, out of caution, they checked the pressure and said it was fine. When I arrived home I immediately called to speak with a manager to discuss this issue. I was forwarded to Eric Reynolds, "manager?", who sympathized with my situation and stated he would call a meeting with the all the service advisors. So the 'Low Tire Pressure' warning? The following day after I brought my truck home, FLAT TIRE! And had to have my truck towed again to my tire shop for the tire repair. It's been 4 days since I made my complaint and still no resolution. UPDATE: BROOKE FROM DIAMOND FORD CONTACTED ME AND STATED THAT SHE'LL BE REFUNDING THE DIFFERENCE IN COST OF THE ESTIMATE AND THE ACTUAL COST. I RECEIVED THE CHECK BY MAIL AS PROMISED! read more

Came in on Wednesday wanting to trade in and get a newer vehicle spoke with the salesman Brian got my credit checked and after waiting an hour plus I was told I would be getting my numbers and offers in a call back at a later time. I was cool with it until about 3-4 days go by and I call back asking for an update since my credit was checked and hard inquires were made and I still had no info. I'm told on the phone the following Sunday that they would get back to me with info a few minutes later. It's been a few hours now still nothing. The lack of communication is outstanding what dealership doesn't want to sell cars? This one apparently. Please avoid business here only positive is the service side. read more

March 2021 Took my 2011, F350 in that had just bought. When I bought the truck (from another dealer) I also purchased an after market warranty. Figured, since it's a Ford, why not have Ford fix whatever needed to be fixed. Gave them a list, and they pretty much fixed all but 2 things. 1) my door locks and 2) fuel injector. The fuel injector is my issue. Remind you, this was in March 2021. In August 2021, I went in to get an update for the fuel injector. Was told that in June that the dealership had changed ownership and it is now Diamond Ford and the since the change of ownership, that new parts had to be reordered. April 2022, I went in to check to see if my parts had come in. The lady that assisted me said that she wasn't able to look up anything, (basically because it's been so long) and that the original person (Daniel) was the only one that could do it, and he was gone for the day. So I just wasted my fucking time. In today's world, how come she wasn't able to look it up? Wouldn't it be in the system? Why is it taking so long for parts to come in? Are we still blaming covid? The shipping industry? My gripe isn't towards the young lady at all. I want my gripe to go to Diamond Ford and to Ford Motors. How long am I expected to have to wait??? What's going to happen if my warranty expires before the parts come in? Gripe for Ford Motors and Ford Parker in Az. Why dont they except after market warranties? read more

Avoid this dealership. Regrettably for popular cars it's a sellers' market and buyers at the whim of less than reputable dealerships. This dealership forces the portfolio package add-ons ( Ceramic coating and fabric protection, and theft protection stickers that are a complete waste of money) that are allegedly discretionary but already installed. The dealership pushes a third-party warranty for its new vehicles claiming it's as good as Ford's extended warranty, but it is not and the company responsible for administering the warranty is poorly rated with a 1.7 rating on Google for lack of responsiveness and failure to approve needed repairs. It's been two months now since we've requested to cancel the extended warranty pursuant to the cancellation terms and not so much as an acknowledgment from the dealership. On google the alleged "owner response" to all reviews but the responses is insincere and nothing more than a gimmick. I responded to the customer relations manager per her request on Google and no surprise she never got back to me. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else even if they have a desirable car it won't be worth it. read more

I am so disappointed in Diamond Ford. You call, nobody answers, or your hung up on or you get voice mail where the mailbox is full. That is the easy problem I ordered a new 2024 F250 Truck which took 2 years to get. When i got the truck, the color was different(nobody asked me) and the radio options (Sirius) was changed(nobody asked me, but it save me $$. No it did't). My dream truck was finally in front of me, so i managed to accept. Less than 2K miles later, the AC stops working, two days, and they tell me that parts are not available and it could take 2 days to 2 weeks to get the parts. So i picked up the truck (mistake). 2 blocks from the dealer, a small car turns left in front of the truck, which managed to stop but was still hit. Dealer mentions the local body shop they work with, so the truck is towed to the body shop. Body parts are back ordered, and AC is still back ordered Dealership problem, oh yeah. Story after story of lies Good news we have all the parts, except the compressor. Body parts are on their way. Between body shop and myself, we both got different stories. Finally the compressor is in, nope need a tube....oh yeah Same happens with a headlight assembly, this is in but not this bracket. Oh look also need another piece, sorry back ordered MONTHS later, still no truck. Body work is done (Body shop said it was a pretty easy job, and the truck did amazing, no frame damage) Body shop was nice enough to take to dealer. Do i get a phone call, email, kiss my #$@, nope. Phone call, hang up, find the extension of the adjuster, voice mail, but its Friday...return call close to end of the day...Monday maybe Tuesday... They say all dealers are overwhelmed, i say crap to that Quick Lanes used to be amazing, they suck, overpriced and idiots. But I'm a girl what do i know read more

I will be writing to the state attorney general, bbb, Ford motor company and endeavorto assemble a class action suit against Diamond Ford. Should'nt be too hard. I brought my 2008 Ford 450 in going on 6 months ago and told them to fix the bolts on my exhaust. They were never authorized to do anything else. However Mr. di Giovani took it upon his self to fix a leaking turbo. I new it was leaking and went along with it. Last week I told him to put my truck together, forget the turbos, etc. I have heart issues and have to go back home to Washington . Horrible business. I tried to buy a truck twice from them, and both times, I was led on and lied to just to get me in the doors, which is a 2 hr drive. The first truck was awful paint all over the interior and dents and scratches all over, which is unacceptable for a $40k truck. The second time I asked all the questions and was promised, the truck was very nice when I got there, I was told the truck has been in the shop for a week due to a mechanical failure. I was shown a $50k 2016 truck that had oil all over the underside of the truck absolutely rediculess. Both times, I showed up cash in hand and was treated like a second class citizen. read more
