I had been doing some of my own research on equipment and asked many questions as they where doing the inspection of my equipment. Miller's employees took the time to answer my questions and share their thoughts on the condition of my equipment with me. Based on the age and condition of my equipment and the regulations in regard to certain refrigerants being phased out, I decided that my best option was to install a new system, as opposed to trying to repair a unit that was no longer in compliance. I am extremely happy and satisfied with the work Franklin performed on my house…read more I had a very bad slab leak which was causing my floor to be hot and water to come up through the floor, which also damaged my floor. This process was a HUGE headache. I called a leak detection company, and all they did was come out and use some sort of sonor equipment. They "located the leak" and put tape on the floor, to mark the spot but told me they needed to break concrete in order to get to the pipe, and fix the leak. I didn't go with it because I figured $15,000.00 was way too much. I called another local plumber and all he did was cut holes in my walls looking for GOD KNOWS WHAT. And worse HE REEKED OF MARIJUANA. He cut a bunch of holes in my walls just to tell me he can't fix it. Keep in mind this is DAY 2 OF NO WATER... By the third day I am extremely frustrated and angry at this situation. I go to Lowe's to try to see what I can buy so that I can at least shower and I see the CM PLUMBING truck. I reached out to Franklin. I explained the situation and in a quick explanation Franklin basically mapped out my whole house. even though he had never been to my house. He was very cheerful and he seemed so eager and happy to help me out. Jokingly I said "you're my new plumber" and he responded with " I'm not just a plumber, I'm your best friend". He came to my house and within 2 hours he located the leak, stopped it. And turned my water back on. Turned out it was the kitchen sink pipe. He came back the next day and rerouted the pipe.. without having to break the concrete floor... And he even did me the favor of replacing my toilet with no additional charge. We have a building in Fairfield that needed a new a/c system…read more We used them as they were low bid. They put in a new system but did not replace the 20 year old out-dated thermostat or even look at it evidently. The system failed a couple months later. We looked at the thermostat first and discovered that the batteries were so corroded that we had to pry them out with a screw driver. We called Superior and they said the they did not replace the thermostat because the one they would replace it with would be inferior. Really? We replaced the fuses in the system and could not get it to run, so we called them out to check it out. They had replaced the thermostat with a new one and said that the fuses were blown out. That seems funny because I just put brand new ones in before they arrived. They sent us a bill for over $300.00, which is probably not that bad, but when I went to check the work, they left the whole side panel off of the unit exposing high voltage capacitors and wiring. The cover was about 50 ft. from the unit in the front of the building. They also left the circuit panel door open in their hurry to get out of there. When a company lies to me and does shoddy work, I do not ever use them again, nor recommend them to others.
