And I only planned to have cameras installed after some work that was scheduled to be done on my new house. I reached out to Eyal of Protection Now via Yelp a few days before the escrow closed on my house. Eyal spent an hour on FaceTime as I showed him around the house to discuss the number and location of cameras needed. The house seemed untouched when it was filled with staging furniture for weeks. Stagers removed the furniture over the past weekend. Upon my visit at the house on Monday, I noticed the patio door of the ground-floor master bedroom was unlocked. I then saw there was water all over the master bathroom floor, the toilet seat was up, the shower door was wide open, residual water inside the bathtub basin, AND there was a lighter on the bathroom counter. Moments later as I was measuring the room, I noticed a partial footprint on the window sill and dirt smear on the side wall of the window. Of course, I called Eyal immediately. He speedily set in motion to get my cameras installed the next day. When Eyal and his team arrived on Tuesday, Eyal made a much-appreciated authoritative suggestion to me to also install an alarm system. They completed the installation of both security cameras and many alarm sensors in one day. Ernesto made sure the apps were set up correctly on my iPhone and patiently gave me a tutorial of the NVR functions. Everything was fully operational by the end of the day. Ami helped to coordinate installs was a total Angel because our schedule is Hectic and our project of sorting out multiple old systems, broken sensors and contacts, and a mess left by the old company (nothing was labeled or organized) required multiple visits and at odd times- I really appreciate that the installers were committed to doing everything right even though it took more equipment and time than we originally anticipated. Also love the head engineers that are familiar with lots of systems to help with random WiFi/network errors. The systems themselves are sleek and easy to use with the app. The sensors can be delayed or disabled for certain purposes. I also accidentally set off the alarm silently, they called me and the cops, and were able to call off the cops easily once confirming it was me. Lots of nice safety features to this alarm which Scott tested to make sure they worked as needed :) We compared to another well know local company that seemed a bit outdated (no app access/control) and a giant national company (expensive setup, less local, not as individualized attention). Ultimately chose safe and sound for the excellent customer service and highly recommend!

Alex and his team were flexible and incredibly knowledgeable with A/V systems and with Sonos especially which was extremely valuable as that is ultimately what we opted for. In phase 1 of our remodel, the VSS team helped us update our wifi and establish Sonos across our 2 most populated rooms and our back patio. (Their flexibility and patience shined here as they did not push to expand into additional rooms yet because they knew we were planning a Phase 2 remodel) Because they did such a stellar job on the Phase 1 and because they were so professional, fast and flexible we reached out and asked them to add Sonos speakers across the entire house, plus 1 Sonos "Move" so we'd have another outdoor speaker we could place wherever we wanted in the back or front yard when entertaining guests. VSS gets 5+ stars from me because additionally as part of Phase 2 they also identified and FIXED a deficiency in the wifi setup that was mainly due to a wifi service upgrade after they had completed Phase 1. This improvement to the wifi was incredibly timely given my 3 kids were (still are) all home doing distance learning because of Covid-19. If you have A/V needs, these guys are the best.
