FSTG-DREAM-PRO 10G Cloud Gateway with 100+ UniFi device / 1,000+ client support and 3.5 Gbps IPS routing. was quoted as $999.99 when it retails for $379 FSTG 10Gbps SFP+ Direct Attach Cable (1meter) was quoted at $29.99 when it retails for $15 OvrC Pro Lifetime License + Hub, non-locking barrel connector power connection type was quoted as $999.99 when it retails for to $199 *note this is only available to authorized AV dealers but a 5x mark up is insane I asked why and was told it was small business markup and was told quote "It includes sourcing, shipping, platform fees, payment processing fees and more that our clients may not originally consider. The raised price also covers our regular remote network maintenance, ensuring your network continuously runs at peak performance following the conclusion of the project. A large portion of business model is our post-install support and efforts to create peace of mind for our clientele regarding our systems." However on that quote was also a $70/mo service plan that was supposed to cover the aforementioned post-install support. I asked about the double charge for support and asked if I could bring my own equipment and they ignored my email So this company is SUPER SHADY and please review your quotes and google any equipment that they tell you that you need because 1. you probably don't need it (we ended up fixing the internet ourselves) and 2. they are probably overcharging you. Just run the quote through Claude or ChatGPT and ask if there's anything concerning in it. It will do all the research for you.

Of all the shops that responded to my inquiry, Lorena's was the most specific - this shop clearly has a lot of experience, and she immediately inquired about the specific model I had and pointed me to a gallery of all their installs with my specific camera. Scheduling was a bit tricky over the holidays, but Lorena and Will were very flexible in working with me to find the right time. They first came out for a visual walk around to plan out the install. They helped me determine the optimum angles and placement, power sources, and strength of connetivity. I really appreciated the expertise they brought. I had also purchased more cameras than they felt was necessary, and they made recommendations that not only saved me money, but also ones that would give us the best use of the security cameras. On the day of the install, they spent pretty much the entire day here - their work was extremely detailed and none of it was rushed. Will and Lorena were extremely patient with all my questions, and took their time helping me set up the camera in the app as well as making a ton of minor adjustments until I was happy with the placement. It was also during this whole time that I realized how knowledgeable they are about all sorts of smart home systems - smart lights, cameras, security systems - chances are they have worked on any of the brands you are thinking of. All in all, super happy with their work. Lorena and Will are great people to work with, very knowledgeable, and will do above and beyond to make sure you are happy with their work. The person said to make it easier he would need to drill some holes to help hide the wires. He asked if we had paint and said he could patch it. Next thing you know we have a 5"x5" hole in our fireplace along with holes in another wall. The patch was left unfinished. He said he had a paint brush initially and then later said he didn't. Pretty sure he was using a paper towel. Then told me I should paint it in an hour. Called their office and Nikki told me their team doesn't do paint or patching...ok. Why say you can? She couldn't tell me when someone would be back out and never called me back. So we have a mounted tv but now we need a professional painter to come fix the botched patch. Two promptly came back with bids within 24 hours. One, Bay Alarm set expectations they needed more days and even a weekend to prepare the bid. The weekend came and went without a bid showing up. By Thursday afternoon, a week after the other bids were in my inbox, I called in only to find out the service technician was still working on it. A week after he said we'd have it to us, and long after the others had arrived, still working on it. It made me pause. Naturally I was wondering exactly how long it would take them to call the police if my newly installed security alarm were to go off in our home? Always under commit and over deliver, not the other way around. Confidence shaken for sure.

Elder and the guys did an excellent job in covering up the entire house and finished the job in 2 days. My house had no insulation in the walls- to very less in the attic. After the insulation my Heat as well as Cold is retained inside the house. Heat turns on once in a 24 Hr cycle vs multiple times in an hour previously. If you are thinking of in wall insulation, it's totally worth it. The quote was the most competitive and they were very flexible. I am still closing out the multiple holes in the wall, will take time as i prefer to do it myself- I had plans to paint anyway .

I was initially impressed with what seemed like a thorough and well-considered estimate. It felt…read morelike the team really evaluated my attic and cooling needs. The addition of two QuietCool fans also seemed like a major plus, as I was already familiar with the product and expected it would significantly help with cooling. When it came to the insulation work, I was very pleased. The crew did an excellent job removing the old insulation and installing the new. They worked efficiently, protected my floors well, and ensured that no insulation debris entered the living areas. That part of the job was handled professionally. However, I was less impressed with the radiant barrier installation. This may partly be due to a misunderstanding on my end, as I expected a different type of material, but the end result did not meet my expectations. The biggest issue, unfortunately, was the installation of the fans. At best, it was very poorly executed. The fans are 16" units with 12" duct openings, yet they were installed directly against the gables, which severely restricts airflow. Proper installation should have included a box or shroud to help direct airflow effectively through the fans. Because of this poor airflow, the fans do not cool the attic--in fact, they appear to make things worse. I can actually watch the temperature on the thermostat increase when the fans are turned on. I reached out to my representative multiple times, but the response was disappointing. I was told they could not take the fans back, and when I asked why the attic temperature increases when they are running, I was told there was no explanation and nothing further could be done. As temperatures continue to rise, I'm left frustrated that I spent $1,200 on two fans that perform the opposite of what was promised, with no meaningful support or resolution offered. UPDATE: After posting my initial review, I was contacted by both the project manager and the owner. I reiterated the reasons for my frustration, explaining that my review reflected my honest impression of what I saw as a lack of clear communication and effective management of the project and customer expectations. The project manager apologized for the communication breakdown and asked if I would be open to giving them an opportunity to make things right. A technician was then sent out, and he took the time to fully understand the issue, carefully examine the installation, and make several adjustments to the original work. He believes these changes will help improve airflow in the attic. Since my attic has some unique characteristics, he also provided helpful suggestions for additional ways to improve cooling and airflow--something I feel should have been addressed during the initial planning stage of the project. Whether these changes will result in significant improvement remains to be seen; I'll have a better sense once the weather warms up. I do appreciate the follow-up and the willingness of the project manager to reach out and try to make things right, and I have updated my review accordingly. That said, I want to be clear that the increase in my rating is largely due to the technician and the time he invested in evaluating the full situation, as well as both implementing and proposing thoughtful solutions.

Joffre is the best ADT installer in the area. He went in and looked over our place and heard our concerns. He knew what we needed and looked up what he could re-use to help save us money and still give us the security that we desired. His tech Bryce was amazing at his job and got us up and running in no time (he straight up helped reconnect our phone lines to get our U-Verse phone in all the phone jacks of the house as opposed to just the single jack the U-Verse tech left us with - it may have been a simple fix, but it left our place much better than it was before he came). All in all, I had 4 other ADT companies call me about installing a new system in our house (they must have all gotten a list or something). Joffre was the only one that was from the area, spoke to us like another home-owner and knew our neighborhood. All of the others were phone operators following a script and filling a sales quota just using Google Maps to see where we lived. Joffre didn't dance around trying to up-sell us on features we didn't ask about, but really laid out the pros and cons of each of their installation options (be it land-line, cellular receiver, or their new Pulse App on smartphones) so we could be confident in what we got installed. It's perfect for what we wanted in the house. Joffre and his team are the only ones I will go to for any ADT-related installs and I am super glad we found him. He got us the best for our money and set us up so the alarm system works for our crazy schedule, and since he lives in the area, I know they are right here to help if anything happens. read more

I just bought a new home which had an existing security system. Joffre contacted me about installing a ADT system and took the time to assess my system's capabilities to see if it would suit my needs. It did not. Not being familiar with ADT I was not going to switch without giving the company which did the original system a chance to show me what they had to offer. In the end everything Joffre told me about the upgrade problems they would face proved to be not only accurate but very costly for us if we stayed with them. I never thought I would ever need a home security system but after 10 years of living in Stockton I got broken into. I left my house for only 30 minutes and when I got back, it looked like a tornado went through it. I was talking to a co-worker about what happened and he immediately said to call his alarm guy (Joffre) Joffre explained to me that Stockton requires what's called verified response, in order for the police to respond, the alarm company needs to verify with the police that they received a signal. I selected Pulse with two way voice so I could communicate with ADT directly through the keypad. I'm really satisfied with what Joffre Recommended, he's a pro at what he does, I highly suggest you call him if your in the market for an ADT security system. read more

I had ADT installed at my Vallejo home on 1/11/2016. The installer showed up within the time window we were given. He was friendly, professional, and knew exactly what he was doing. In under 30 minutes, he installed the system on 3 windows, 3 door and a motion sensor in the hallway. He cleaned up the dust from the drill using his portable vacuum cleaner. I wanted this company to check out the HD on my relatively new NVR for my CCTV system. This…read morecompany did not install the system. This company said they would sell me a new system to replace system I had. On the suggestion from my wife, I called a computer repair company in Walnut Creek who sent a technician to my house to simply replace the non-functioning HD with a larger, industrial quality CCTV HD. It so happened the technician knew exactly the problem I had and ordered the correct HD. The new HD did not even to be formatted!! Cost for the new CCTV HD was $150.00!!! I don't enjoy being "played" by merchants such as these people from this company!!l Response/reply: I spoke to a "receptionist." She put me on hold for a few minutes; when she returned to the call, she told me the "manager" told her to tell me the company doesn't service systems they did not install. Plus they are not familiar the brand of CCTV. At no time was I given the option or ever asked if I wanted a technician to go to my house to check out my system. The original installer wanted to sell me a new system as well!! The original installer said my CCTV system should be replaced if it stops working because the NVR is not serviceable. My system was warranted for 3 years; the HD in the NVR failed 2 months after the warranty expired. Response: I am simply writing (recording) what I was told by the receptionist. I told her my CCTV was giving me an error message "not recording." I asked her "...do you service CCTVs?" She said the manager said they don't service my brand of CCTV. She said the manager said,, "he is not familiar with your CCTV." ***I found the NVR brand and cameras on AM.Z.N. I simply said "OK!"

Justin was dispatched to complete the repairs, and he's been great at problem-solving. We will continue to work with Done Right Security. Especially after they showed us how a previous vendor had skipped some important safety issues. I definitely feel that our building is in a better shape than before.

We travel a lot and have had wireless cameras before but if the batteries were low or if someone was outside for more than a minute then the video would cut off.
