Ranked Best Pizza and New Restaurant by Indy Week Best of the Triangle 2020 ......so we came. The pizza crust was under cooked and came out way too fast to be cooked properly. The prosciutto on our pizza was under cooked as were the mushrooms. Ordering at a counter and then having to go to a bar in the middle of the restaurant to get a drink was not a great experience. Ordered a side caesar salad with the pizza and after they forgot to bring it to the table they came out with a pre-packaged chicken Caesar salad and said that's all they had. Definitely the best I've had in North Carolina! Great atmosphere to hangout, grab a drink and some food with your friends or family any night of the week. unfortunately the service here was very bad tonight. the food has been great in that past but the experience and service not so much. 1. their TVs never seem to work, not the end of the world but disappointing when you want to watch a game at the bar. 2. the bartender was extremely rude from the start. it stated with the tv not working, we understand it's not his fault but how he speaks to you about it immediately is not necessary. 3. we placed an order for drinks and wings at 8:30 saying that's what we would start with. not once did the waiter mention after a certain time they wouldn't be able to serve us our dinner. at 8:40 they turned the lights on bright and said they were cleaning, where we stated we still needed to order and our waiter hadn't been back to take our order. they came back saying we could order for take out which we declined. the bartender then came back stating that they have a sign at the front that you have to wait to be seated as if that would solve this issue? sad to see as this spot has the potential to be a great place but a few rude staff members has ruined it for us. read more

This used to be so good but I don't know what has happened. The pizzas aren't what they used to be. Last time I was there the pizza was just ok but this time it was way below average. There isn't any flavor and top of my pizza had layer of grease, the kind you get from cheap cheese. I love . It is my favorite food. I love thin ,charred ,wood fire pizza. My husband found this Cary gem and brought me here for lunch . Take out of course per the governor. The pizza was amazing Dee-licious!! Small side salad was excellent as well. I got the Philly cheese steak Pizza which was a special for the week I got my son a four cheese pizza and my husband got spinach and sausage. My husband is a pizza snob, we lived not far from New Haven and for him to say we will back is unusual. It was in my top five pizzas within my first couple of bites. The combination of San Marzano sauce, Bufala mozzarella, regular mozzarella and garlic was out of the world. Worst vegan gluten free pizza ever! The staff is awesome and helpful but the ingredients ain't there! The tomato sauce tasted like puréed tomatoes plus vinegar no seasoning. The margarita had so much flavor and the callabrese was the perfect amount of spicy. The crust was excellent. The staff was so great. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel at home. Was super disappointed in my experience at V pizza. It was basically a 2 star experience with 4star prices. Service was slow and incompetent. The waiter didn't even write down our order and forgot many things in regards to it. Had to remind them many times to bring me this or that. It didn't take them too long to bring out the pizza though but it took them forever to bring us the bill and even longer to take it back. As for the pizza itself, the bread was very nice and light but we picked a spicy one. It would have been nice to get a warning that this would burn a hole in your stomach till the next day. Anyways, honestly was not impressed at all and the manager needs to train their staff to be more competent in taking orders and checking on their customers. I checked out the menu ahead of time. Ordering online is really easy and you're able to customize your order as you like. There are also gluten-free and cauliflower crust available and lunch specials, even on the weekend. I decided to place my order in-person. I ordered the wood fire-roasted wings with the V signature flavor. They were SOOO good. The plump juicy wings were charred to perfection. I will travel back to Cary to get the wings again. My favorite pizza restaurant by far! First, the owner is super cool, nice and very proud of his restaurant. We felt his passion for the food and he wasn't just hyping it up because he owns the place. The food is actually really good! We tried the Mac Attack pizza, signature wings, Caesar salad, calzone and cannoli. The wings are out of this world. I've never had anything like it. Juicy, tender, crispy, flavorful, hint of sweet but savory. Pure goodness. The pizza's crust was just right. I can't put to words how that magical oven cooks these pizzas but man it's so good. Service is terrible, they had trouble getting our order correct, when the food came out the forgot one of the meals for our kids and we reminded them serval times....it never came but was still on the bill (even asking right after before bring our check if we wanted the missing food to go and we said no, please just take it off the bill). The food took forever to arrive at the table, probably about 90 minutes. The food we did receive was not great. The pasta was undercooked, our kids didn't eat any of it. And the signature wings....just absolutely astonishing. Literally no joke when I say this, best wings I've HAD TO DATE. The pizza and wings were both best of the best, 10/10, top tier.
