There were a good bit of vegetables and noodles. The vinegar fish sauce was refreshing and brought balance to the dish without being overwhelming. My wife had no complaints with the pho. She liked the broth and felt that the meat given in her bowl was overall reasonable. All in all if you're craving Vietnamese food in the woodlands area it will hit the spot. The soup broth is very similar to their other location, which was pretty good. It isn't the best bowl of soup in the Houston area, but it surely does the job if you're craving a bowl of pho. The egg rolls are pretty standard, I just wish they gave you more lettuce as the amount provided only is enough for 2 of the 4 egg rolls. The shrimp cake is something I've never tried but just made with sheet tofu and shrimp paste. It's pretty good if you like that texture. You eat them the same way as the egg rolls wrapped in lettuce and add the veggies. Again, the amount of lettuce provided is only enough for 2 of the 4 cakes. The ambiance is nice and they were playing a mix of modern pop and dance music in the dining area.

However, I've noticed that the prices have gone up while the portions, especially the amount of meat, have gotten noticeably smaller. I usually order the combination pho, and while the broth is very flavorful, there is surprisingly little meat in the bowl. Our bowls also had no tendon or tripe, which was disappointing since it's supposed to be a combination pho. One thing that really stood out to me was the difference between the regular and large combination pho. The large bowl has significantly more broth, but it looks like it has pretty much the same amount of meat as the regular bowl. If you're ordering the large because you want more meat and ingredients, you may be disappointed. I don't mind paying a little more when the quality and portions justify it, but at the current prices, I would expect the amount of meat to be more generous. The flavors are still really good, but for the price, the value just isn't what it used to be.
