However, I ended up messaging here on yelp since I did see so many reviews about it! The told me to call to setup an account for pickup/delivery. I called again today and when I asked to set up an account, the man hung up the phone on me. However they are horrible and do not know how to treat all types of fabric. Final straw was when I asked them to repair a very expensive half leather coat stitching where thread came loose. They washed it without permission and ruined the entire leather aspect of the coat. Worst of all claimed it was given like that and "the coloring" came off. Gah definitely DO NOT give them any leather items or expensive coats because they don't know how to treat such fabric.

Initially they did calculations wrong and overcharged us so we asked the guy when we went to pick it up he was so apologetic and offered a $2 credit. He also adjusted all the Calculations and said the lady was new. They packed my laundry like it was going to be shipped overseas. It was so tightly packed and beautiful and smelled AMAZING! They even used softener. I highly recommend dropping your laundry here. Everything was perfect. Everything came out to a little under $50 but it was A LOT OF STUFF!

Inability to do a good job on the first clean, e.g., I bring a shirt, point out the stains, and come back to see the stains still there. I then point out the stain again, and they take note of it and clean it again. After the second clean, the stain is gone. Why not take note of the stain the first time? 2. They're incompetent tailors. They take shortcuts and do not take ownership of their work. I have taken a pair of pants to get a basic hem (not origin hem) and they came back with poor stitching. I even provided a sample that had been worn for six months, albeit by Alteration Specialists, and its stitching looks better. The adage, you get what your pay for is true. Want poor quality go to Brothers! 3. They are flat-out rude and dismissive. For instance, they demand payment and don't respond to "thank yous" or basic questions in regards to garment care. If Fort Greene wasn't a dry cleaning desert I'd go elsewhere. Come to think about it, I'll do a dry cleaner test and report back on the best one in the neighborhood. If you're OK with poor service and quality, then Brothers Cleaners should be your go-to.

They will be late on the pick up (by 1 day) and even later (an entire 2 days late) on delivery. The whole time the contact person kept delaying the eta. 3. Impolite and careless pickup and delivery workers. Our laundry bag was left in front of the house because they kept delaying the eta. They squeezed all of our clothes and linens into one bag instead of separating into two which caused a huge rip at the top of the laundry bag. 4. They will apologize profusely with no valid explanation or solution. They will offer a discount for the next time when they know you won't ever use their service again. 5. They will overcharge you for the service a week later, not providing any sort of receipt or itemized breakdown of costs.
