However they are horrible and do not know how to treat all types of fabric. Final straw was when I asked them to repair a very expensive half leather coat stitching where thread came loose. They washed it without permission and ruined the entire leather aspect of the coat. Worst of all claimed it was given like that and "the coloring" came off. Gah definitely DO NOT give them any leather items or expensive coats because they don't know how to treat such fabric.

This has to be dropped to a three star review. (#sorrynotsorry)…read moreThis laundromat is clean, spacious, and the machines are easy to use. The down side? If you get there at the wrong time, you'll be hustling to find a dryer. A few things of note: The employees are friendly but use almost an entire wall (and then some) of dryers leaving them unavailable for customer use. I understand needing to get dropped-off laundry done, as it's a source of income for the store. But do you have to do it in the middle of 'rush hour' on a Saturday??? Killin' me. Three times I've dropped off clothes for dry cleaning. Twice, my jacket was clean and ready to go day-of. But third times the charm. Took pants in and even though I waited an extra two days, when I arrived, they hadn't even started cleaning them. What? Then they told me I'd need to wait another two days. Nah, girl. We ain't about that life. They *eventually* said they'd get them done in the next four hours. Still made me pay full price and I still had to wait 2.5 days longer than I should have. A couple months ago, two of the owners/high up management (males) got into a fist fight with a 20 year old female. So, that was eventful. Cops were called. While I have no clue how it ended, seriously, if you own the joint (or manage it), you should be able to cool and calm down a situation, not escalate it. Jesus. Prices have gone up in the last two years. $2.79 for small dryer, only 3 dryer points instead of four, and $0.30/8 mins in the dryer after points have been used. Just takin' allllll my money. So, all in all, it's been pretty great for covering all my regular needs. I can wash clothes, dry them, and get home in 1.5-2 hours. Try not to hang around or get invested in any other part of it though. Keep your dry cleaning out of here, pinch your pennies, and dear god try not to start a fight with mgmt because they get down. Yikes.

Five reasons why you should absolutely never use this extremely unprofessional laundry service:…read more 1. They never give you direct answers to your direct questions. 2. They will be late on the pick up (by 1 day) and even later (an entire 2 days late) on delivery. The whole time the contact person kept delaying the eta. 3. Impolite and careless pickup and delivery workers. Our laundry bag was left in front of the house because they kept delaying the eta. They squeezed all of our clothes and linens into one bag instead of separating into two which caused a huge rip at the top of the laundry bag. 4. They will apologize profusely with no valid explanation or solution. They will offer a discount for the next time when they know you won't ever use their service again. 5. They will overcharge you for the service a week later, not providing any sort of receipt or itemized breakdown of costs.

I normally don't do reviews, but I had to in this instance. Saturday, May 16th, I brought in a…read moreBurberry trench coat to have the sleeves shortened slightly to address some minor fraying from normal wear. Just have the sleeves shortened so that the fraying no longer showed or would get worse. I paid $25 for the work, pretty reasonable. The tailoring work itself was done well, the sleeve was shortened and finished cleanly, so I want to be fair about that. My issue is with how the coat was handled and returned to me. When I picked it up, the coat was tightly stuffed into a thin plastic bag which was tied up, as shown in the attached photos. I was literally shocked when the woman handed it to me. She was not the alteration lady so I didn't want to subject her to my anger, but I did say "it couldn't be put on a hanger at least"? She was apologetic and offered to get a hanger but I live only a few blocks away so I didn't see the point. Plus I wanted to take pictures. As a result, the coat was heavily wrinkled from being compressed into the bag (see photos) for two days (my given pick up date was Saturday, May 23rd and I picked it up today Tuesday evening), and honestly it was disappointing to see a garment I cherish being treated in such a careless manner by people I PAID to take care of it. I attached pictures of how the coat was presented to me and how it looked when I took it out of the bag. While I value my clothing A LOT, I am very easy going. I didn't expect luxury presentation or even steaming or pressing. I actually steam my coats every time I wear them. But I also didn't expect to have it returned to me shoved into a plastic bag like a dish rag. Every other place I have had alterations done, they won't press or steam the item unless asked to (I totally understand that) but at the least they put it on a hanger, even if it's a wire one. Especially a suit jacket or coat. This shouldn't happen to a $20 thrift store coat, let alone a coat worth over $1,000 dollars. It's a tailored garment - now the labels are out of shape and it's unwearable without considerable steaming and pressing. You want a clean and quiet place to wash your clothes YOURSELF? By all means go here. If you need to entrust your clothes to staff to have them cleaned or altered, hard pass if my experience is anything to go by.
