Amazing beautiful brewery! They have a extensive tap list with a little bit of something for every taste. They have non alcoholic options including n/a brews, cans of soda, Northern Soda Company and THC beverages. The staff were so friendly and they host some really great events . Lots of seating available and very family friendly!

Nice large venue both the indoors and patio. Their beer menu is more traditional/European styles, which is my preference. They have an outdoor ordering window and indoor ordering lane which helps reduce the awkward talking over someone's shoulder type ordering many bars have. The hefe-mosa and witbier were my favorite.

Inside. Very large!

What an awesome bar! I came here over the weekend when with friends I was visiting. Awesome selection of beers! The inside is huge and there is also lots of cool merch for sale, but we sat outside. The are was spacious, beautiful, and scenic! It was super welcoming as there were families, dogs, kids, and everyone there seemed like they were having a great time. I will definitely be back when I visit Minnesota again!

This is a really fun brewery! Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful. They are large and have a lot of seating. Everyone is welcome and they have a large selection of drinks. The service is friendly and efficient and they have rotating food trucks in order to enjoy a meal.

Utepils is one of those breweries that truly captures the spirit of craft beer in Minnesota. The taproom is spacious, airy, and designed with a European beer hall vibe that makes it perfect for both small groups and big gatherings. The outdoor beer garden is a huge highlight in the warmer months. It's family-friendly, dog-friendly, and one of the best spots in the Twin Cities to enjoy a pint on a sunny afternoon. Food trucks rotate daily, so you can usually find a great bite to pair with your beer. I sampled most of their beers and was really impressed. The Bavarian-style Hefeweizen was my favorite--super smooth and flavorful--and the Witbier was also really good. Utepils has a great mix of classic European styles, a huge taproom, and one of the best outdoor beer gardens in Minneapolis. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

One of the best breweries in the Twin Cities!!! Their beers are amazing and the facilities is superb. The outside seating is absolutely perfect, more mimicking a beer garden situated along a creek with a miniature wooded area. They have daily food trucks as well and host events with live music. Service is always top notch!!!!

I absolutely love Utepils Brewing! Conveniently located outside of downtown Minneapolis, this taproom is easy to get to from anywhere in the cities. This brewery features a massive seating area with pool table and shuffleboard table. There is also a huge outdoor seating area nestled in a wooded area. It's awesome. The beer is fantastic. Lots of pilsners on tap all the time. Everything is well executed and clean drinking. You will also find some hoppier and maltier selections if that's your thing. Utepils also has some killer swag sure to make you look and feel great. As far as service - all the beertenders are awesome. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. Jess is my FAVORITE! She's great. Definitely one of the better taprooms in the cities. Check them out!

First time there. Love the taproom. It's feels like a great place to hang out. But the patio is the real gem. It was a little chilly but we got a few chairs by the big fire pit and it was perfect. Tried Smokey the Beer, the smoke was a bit on the burnt bacon grease side. Not my fave but it was good with the pizza. Second beer was In All Places. It's a Brown Ale. Really liked this one. Also tried a few that my hubby had. Like his also. All in all, it's a great place to meet some friends and hang out with some yummy food truck food and beer. Can't wait for summer to really enjoy the patio and the live music I've heard they have.

Radler and Czech Dark Lager... so good!!!

Been coming here for many years! I love Belgian beer especially their Ewold the golden. I love the bartenders, always so friendly and welcoming. I love the space both indoor and outdoor, they are so spacious. If you have never visited this brewery, you should. It is definitely worth it.

Sign. You can apply on this street when there's a live event and the brewery doesn't have any parking.

I normally head to the Twin Cities for Minnesota Wild games. I am rarely there during the summertime. Well, I finally returned to the state in early August. Why? My first concert and visit to Xcel Energy Centre was a John Mayer concert eons ago. Opening for him was Guster, a band from Boston. I fell in love with their music, and how awesome their bongoist was. I have been a fan ever since. The band rarely comes up to Canada. I have only seen the band once up here at Danforth Music Hall. I tend to head over the border when they are playing. I found out that they were playing a show at Utepils Brewing. It made sense to return to the Twin Cities where I was first introduced to Guster. I got a VIP ticket. It meant that I got to sit in a specific area, have access to the bar and washrooms in this sectioned-off area, and get a special Guster beer. The show was on Friday. It was open at 5 pm. I drove over here, which was straightforward. However, parking was limited. I spoke to the nicest man standing by the railroad tracks in front of the brewery. I asked where I could park. He said that I could either park at Anwatin Middle School and take a shuttle over here (it runs every twenty minutes), or park on the road, just up the hill. Nice! I thanked him and tried street parking. It was perfect. I found a spot and walked down the hill to get to the venue. You do have to prove that you are 21 years old. I had my Ontario driver's licence. The man doing the check looked at it and thought that I was born in 2003. I need him to compliment me all the time... haha! I didn't have a ticket. I had to show my VIP receipt on my phone. I then got a wrist bracelet, my VIP ticket, and my drink ticket. Yay! I had to use the washroom. I used one of the portable ones. It was clean, as I was early for the concert. I was hungry and got a smokey bratwurst from Gerhard's. There were several food trucks there, which I liked. I also got a bottled water. I paid with a credit card. Done! The VIP experience was nice. I showed my ticket to the woman at the gated area. I found a nice table and sat down. My bratwurst was yummy. It was great eating and drinking in this cool space. I had the Guster special brew. It was refreshing on a fairly humid day. Luckily, it got cooler throughout the night. Everyone was friendly and cheerful. It was nice chatting to a man next to me about Guster songs that we hoped would be performed. It's a nice outdoor venue. It's on the banks of Bassett Creek, which is between downtown Minneapolis and Theodore Wirth Parkway. I was at a Yelp event at the latter in May, so I now know that it's not far away from this brewery! I had a great time. It was an excellent concert. I used the brewery washroom for VIPs. It was clean and nicely maintained. The brewery is nice and large. Staff at the brewery were nice. There was a photographer taking professional photos throughout the night. I liked that food trucks were still going on strong after the show. I was hungry again. I have had food from KCM Egg Rolls before at a food truck event last year. I went ahead and got a foot-long pork egg roll. I paid with a credit card and got my egg roll on a stick immediately. I thanked the nice man and headed up the hill to my car. I ate in my car. The egg roll hit the spot. It was packed full of seasoned ground pork, vermicelli noodles, and veggies. It was so good to have it again. I had a terrific concert and beer experience at this brewery. I'd love to return when there isn't a concert to check out what the ambience is like. Parking is a bit of an issue, but I now know that street parking is decent. (355)

Outdoor seating.

Food truck, didn't get a chance to enjoy it. They do sell snacks. Service was great. Ambiance, outdoor OMG, RELAXING next to a river with the birds chirping. Very nice indoor also. Bathrooms were clean. Also a lot of apparel. friendly. ‍

Hefe mosa is amazing! Never had a bad beer here, but look at this one! So yummy. Great patio, great staff, fun environment! Definitely recommend if you like a great brewery

Ask the Community - Utepils Brewing

Are dogs allowed outside?

Well behaved pups and kids are very welcome. Cheers

Is this place okay for kids?

Last time I was there there was a party happening with a lot of kids, lots of space.

When is happy hour?

The beer is so good, it is just like all the other breweries and there isn't one. If you find a brewery that has actual "happy hour" pricing. Please share.

They also have à la carte options for cheaper if you only need poles or boots, etc.) Besides skiing, outdoor winter activities also include snow tubing, snowboarding, snowshoeing.... You name it. Inside The Trailhead, there's food and drink concessions, ample seating, lockers, bathrooms, and even rooms for rent. The last time I was there, a family was hosting a young child's birthday party in the multi-purpose room. Altogether, there is an amazing assortment of services here to come and check out. The natural elegance of the venue was enough to set the mood and the tone. Bellagala was a professional organization to work with and Monica, the venue lead, was an excellent communicator before, during, and after. All staff we worked with were helpful, positive, and pleasant. Guests especially loved the Carriage House for the live band (5 members, Bluewater Kings Band). The dance floor felt perfectly packed all the time because of its size for our 120-person wedding. The open second floor gave people enough distance while still making people feel part of the action. New, shiny and very classy cool place to drink cocktails, have fun and dance…read more It opened a few weeks back and I really wanted to check this place out. Went out with many of my friends together and it may have become our favorite spot. 1. Decor Absolutely love the fact they have such high ceilings, thanks to the old library building, super high back leather chairs and overall classy sophisticated design makes this place really cool. 2. Drinks They serve a few signature cocktails and I liked all of them. They don't serve food here. 3. Dance You could technically dance anywhere. There's no dedicated dance floor. 4. Music They have DJs both inside and outside (patio) and good. 5. Patio It consists of 2 sections. Downstairs where you can hear each other better and large group setting tables or upstairs where you can sit or dance. 6. Hookah lounge Okay, I never did this so I didn't try it. But could see people who like hookah, enjoying it. It's also my first time seeing such thing as hookah lounge inside a bar/lounge. All in all, i think place is the new best dance, get together, lounge, cocktail place in Minneapolis. Highly recommend to check it out if you haven't been there yet.

From first glance, this club has lots of potential to be greater than what they intended. No doubt,…read morethe decoration, architecture, bar and seating areas are classy and elegant. It is probably the best in the Twin Cities. The DJ area was in the middle but kinda tucked away and hidden behind the super XXL sofas and chairs in this place, so you won't see them in the dark lights. I don't know if it's good or bad, but I like watching the DJ in action sometimes when I go out dancing. She was playing some good dance music. Before you head to Mansion, you have to come with an open mind and lots of forgiveness in your heart. Drink a lot or take a chill pill before you come because this place has lots of rules. The night we were here, there were more security guards and "hostess" sweeping the floor than regular customers. I call them hostess, but I don't really know what they do other than stand around looking gorgeous and smiling. They didn't greet us when we came in or take our drink orders throughout the night so I don't really know what they do. I heard there is dress code for the men so make sure you have collared shirt and long pants on. As for the ladies, you don't have to remind us to dress to kill for a night out. The is no cover charge so that's pretty awesome since we are sure to be drinking inside anyway. However, their policies for not allowing jackets laying around doesn't make for a fun time. I have never been to a club where they force you to either wear your darn jacket or pay for coat check service and only if you can find it due to poor signage. Firstly, I was told to remove my jacket from laying it on the arm rest of a couch that was supposedly reserved for an invisible party because no one showed up. Secondly, they tell me I can't put my jacket on the bar stool when we finally found some kind souls to share their limited bar seating area with us!! Really!!!!!!!!!?????? Mansion?????? My last encounter with Mansion's rules (whew this one tops the icing on the cake), I put down my empty champagne glass on a nearby table because we were having so much fun dancing that I didn't want to risk breaking a glass on the dance floor only to be told I have to put my glass at the bar! In short, he is telling me "bus your own empty glass, lady!" I asked him if he could take the glass away for me only to be refused because he is too good to do just that (provide good customer service) because he has a black suit on and an ear piece. I am a paying customer Mansion!!!??? Some advise for Mansion- let loose on your rules! There are not enough tables to put down our darn drinks so we can dance hands free! Instead, you have too many Reserved couches on the nights when your joint was half empty.

We hosted our cocktail style Wedding Reception here in June and felt it was woefully mismanaged…read morefrom start to finish. We booked all three rooms back in Fall of '23 and paid our deposit and were excited to get planning come May this year. We got to a month before the event and hadn't heard anything from the Event Coordinator regarding current menu, bar, timing, anything. Three weeks prior to the event we reached out and heard nothing for a week. Two weeks out we followed up and found out the Event Coordinator had changed from the one we booked with and the new one was out for an indeterminate period of time with a family emergency. We worked as best we could with the Event Captain but ended up with incorrect menus and pricing and were finally told the Event Coordinator would be back the Monday of our event week and it would be handled then. We got finalized menus and pricing 36 hours before our event. This was extremely stressful, however, we empathized with the Event Coordinator and were assured the event itself would be great. On the day, we arrived and the staff setting up was unsure how many chairs we wanted. They didn't know which equipment we had paid for to use that needed to be set up. They didn't know what the event was for. They were all very nice and let us know they had extremely limited information about our event which was very concerning for us. The Event Coordinator was present for about 5 mins to ask us about a backup wine if ours ran out and that was it (it did run out because there was only one bottle). There was no Event Captain, and the Coordinator was not on hand and (according to staff) unreachable during the event. We had agreed upon several things including a finite amount to pay for "open bar" and then switching to card after that point and we found out only AFTER we met our minimum that they were never told/weren't prepared to take cards. At that point, our options were no drinks (N/A or otherwise) for the last 3 hours or so of our event or we could just keep paying. So we ended up paying much more than was quoted/agreed upon due to lack of communication/oversight. We were told that guests could visit the attached Blue Stem bar, but it closed two hours before our event ended. We also had guests with dietary preferences/restrictions and had ordered vegan options and gluten free cake. We had asked if these could be explicitly labeled to avoid confusion and were told "yes" and on the day it did not happen so many of our guests were unaware there was anything they could eat at our reception. We were also told we could take our leftovers home and we only got cake when there was a lot of food left when they took it away. The sternos were out for some period of time and we couldn't find someone to help with that. The bar was left unattended. The bartenders were serving and refilling alcohol table to table (which we did not want or ask for), and did not pass appetizers as agreed upon. We reached out to the owner, twice, following our event to discuss our concerns to no avail. We LOVE French Meadow and are just heartbroken to have had this experience with them. They answered every one of our questions in a timely manner and were thorough in coordinating all of the details of our special day. The day of our wedding, everyone there was immensely helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We truly owe them the world for making our wedding day so special! The room is perfect. We added floral centerpieces, but the room itself was setup exactly how we wanted, the chairs outside were moved once for our ceremony and then again for our first dance. The lighting both inside and out was more than we could have imagined. We were able to play our own music (a friend just had to manage the playlist), which was super easy! The FOOD, OH MY GOSH THE FOOD! So superb, we got so many compliments from our friends and family about how wonderful the food was. We got to choose 4 food options for our guests and only heard wonderful things about each entree. The cake was also super wonderful and delicious. We would recommend the Nord Room to anyone looking for an intimate wedding location. It was such an easy day (seriously, nothing went wrong!) and we couldn't have asked for a better staff or location. We had a beautiful day and we owe much of that to the wonderful folks at French Meadow!
