I go here quite a bit. Prices are much better than other vendors for boxes like Priority mail. I find the agents to be very patient with the elderly who come in for a chat. They will propose cheaper mailing options when available. Construction workers and folks who work in other buildings do clog the parking lot, as the USPS doesn't seem to enforce the restrictions (they might incur nasty reviews!). I always keep a roll of tape in my car, and a pen in my pocket, as it holds up everyone when you don't properly prepare your mailing. I gave just 4 stars because parking will remain an issue.

The worst. They lost my package or someone there stole it. A friend had a similar situation in the past. I won't use them again.

Thank goodness for the stamp machine....the workers here lack personality and are tired of their jobs. Hate it for them....

I'm going to have to re-evaluate my business, and look at UPS and FedEx. When shipping eats into your profit margins, it's only fair after all. My guess is those companies are higher cost now too. There's not a lot of parking here. Also it is extremely busy on Gallows Road. Do be cautious leaving, and my recommendation is take a right, and turn around if you need to. Also there's a traffic light that can work close by. A very nice staff here. Have found them to be professional and knowledgeable. This USPS offers all of their services too.

The counter area is small and can only accommodate two customers at a time. I print out my own postage and then take it to the post office to obtain a receipt. Packages that are scanned in at the counter are covered by insurance and qualify to for the service guarantee. Packages scanned at the kiosk are not covered by insurance or the service guarantee. On a recent afternoon I was rhe only customer. The clerk refused to scan my package and told me I had to use the kiosk. As a result. I had to drive to the Merrifield Post Offce where they promptly and cheerfully scanned in the Packages and gave me a receipt. Not sure why we need a neighborhood post office if they are going to be rude and lazy. This is one location they could close and it would never be missed.

They also were helpful with lamination, which is a skill that one day maybe will be learned. Well done as important documents, are protected by this job well done. Parking is easy here. It's also generally quiet as well. Shipping costs have gone up, but I still find them more competitive than others. That is appreciated, as all of us are getting nickled and dimed. Professional staff, efficiency, and competitiveness make this location a winner. If you're in the area, go here to handle a variety of business services.

They have free, convenient parking and will help you carry in large or bulky packages unless they re all very busy with other customers. But, if they're busy, 99% of the time another customer will help. When a store is helpful, convenient, efficient, and friendly, customers aren't stressed or pushy, and everyone in line knows they'll get good service, so they help each other. I use this store whenever I'm going to be in McLean/Arlington, and the one on 4200 Mass Ave NW in DC, (I live in NW DC), as they are the 2 best shipping/packing stores in the whole DMV.

She struck up a conversation about what I was sending out, we chatted about vintage crates, decor, and her mom (I believe it was) helping her decorate her apartment. She was saying how she doesn't really have the eye for that sort of stuff. I told her... always mix materials and old and new things. That will always add a nice warmth to a space. In any event, she was just so pleasant and friendly. I was headed to the airport and needed to use a restroom before I sat in traffic for like an hour on my way. I kinda was like... "hey... you guys don't have a public restroom in here do you?" I mean... I was 99 percent ready to hear a "no". And she said, hey yeah I can let you use our restroom as long you don't make a mess, kill anyone, or do drugs in there. She was joking obviously. I laughed heartily and she escorted me back. What a kind gesture to let me use their employee restroom. Anyways, I had no idea this post office was here. It's quite tucked into a neighborhood in Glen Echo. When the GPS told me to turn, I almost did not thinking that it must be the wrong street. It's like you're turning into a residential area, and there's a historic building with a post office in it. And how often do you get a friendly post office employee btw? I'm sorry, I don't like to generalize, but I think that might be a first. In fact, my next review might be of the post office behind the home depot across from Montgomery Mall where the post worker yelled at me when I asked him if that was "really the cheapest way to send my post." Le sigh. Might have to make a trip out of my way to get to this B.
