What a nice store this is. It is refreshing to see good customer service. Here you will find this. I'm glad to say thank you to the staff, for helping me get packages squared away. They also were helpful with lamination, which is a skill that one day maybe will be learned. Well done as important documents, are protected by this job well done. Parking is easy here. It's also generally quiet as well. Shipping costs have gone up, but I still find them more competitive than others. That is appreciated, as all of us are getting nickled and dimed. I was surprised this UPS store doesn't have a 5 star rating. It provides real customer service. They are super friendly, very efficient, and if your label or box needs more tape, they take care of it-some other pack-and-ship stores will make you buy a roll of tape, but not here. They have free, convenient parking and will help you carry in large or bulky packages unless they re all very busy with other customers. But, if they're busy, 99% of the time another customer will help. When a store is helpful, convenient, efficient, and friendly, customers aren't stressed or pushy, and everyone in line knows they'll get good service, so they help each other. I use this store whenever I'm going to be in McLean/Arlington, and the one on 4200 Mass Ave NW in DC, (I live in NW DC), as they are the 2 best shipping/packing stores in the whole DMV. read more

This UPS store is located in a little nook off of Beverly, part of the Ashby Building. I just love that they are open on Sundays during the major holidays, which makes it super convenient! They offer various shipping and delivery options available, and the staff are friendly and super efficient, making the lines move quickly. This store is always friendly and helpful. They are very busy, yet always greet you and don't make you feel rushed. Once I had to ship a large box (mini fridge) and they helped box it for me! I take so many Amazon returns there, I hope Amazon pays them fairly! Some of the reviewers complained about the price. That's not an individual store's issue. UPS HDQ should work in their tracking software as sometimes it's not very clear---however, this store is great. read more

A gentleman named D helped me out today and he was the sweetest. He processed my amazon UPS return package expeditiously. He also went out of his ways to give me some strands of tape to seal my small USPS package (apparently this is a luxury for USPS) and even gave my label a little waterproof pouch. I'm a regular at this spot for many years. I know the employees here and managers. This place can get packed and if you don't research beforehand about prices, shipping costs, supplies, well your going on to pay a astronomical amount of money potentially. I typically spend less than a minute here dropping off my packages. The process has always been easy and painless. The manager here cares a lot about his store and the staff over time has changed through the years, but the concept has stayed the same. Get rapid service done quick for deliveries. A lot of customers come here and have no clue about how anything works. I have seen the employees here take time to help those customers. Sometimes the line can be a drag, but that's again because some customers have a lot of questions. My 2 cents: get here early when they open, or at differing times when people will be at work. That's when they usually have only a few customers come by. If you have questions, ask the staff. I been to plenty of other UPS store locations, but again the quick service I find here and the convenience hasn't been of this quality service. 5 stars all the way. Another thing years ago I was driving and a car almost hit me. One of the employees here personally came running to my car to make sure I wouldn't get hit. Business Envelope, 10 pages- USPS charges one stamp, for first class with 5 pgs in letter. Certifed maybe 5 dollars. add 5 more pages , most likely 8 dol. Other UPS locations quoted $11 and #13 dol, for same . $18 dollars? Mclean prices or ??? Have been mailing packages but due to nature of package and no experience with such I paid whatever they asked. But a letter? 18 dol? They always ask, "how do you want it shipped". . Answer is the cheapest. Then they ask , "when do you want it to get there": Answer is within a reasonable time, eg standard. eg IF I WANT IT OVERNIGHT, I WOULD \SAY OVERNIGHT. 18 DOL. I have tried to use this store several times. I have found the staff rude, unresponsive, and not able to help with UPS-related issues. They are fast to tell you they can't help with UPS issues as they are not UPS, but they are a UPS Store.... They may be ok as a place to buy an envelope, but obstinate when it comes to interacting with UPS. They being rude, impatient and incompetent does not help matters. I have used UPS in Mclean for many years. Brian is the manager there and is always so helpful. Today I came in to get a copy of a receipt for a Verizon phone I sent back for a trade-in rebate which Verizon said they never received. Unfortunately I misplaced the tracking/shipping label. Michael worked with me for at least 20 minutes trying to hunt down the tracking info. He could not have been more helpful and pleasant to work with!! What a lack of customer service by the manager. We attempted to accomplish Amazon returns, per the front signs, and the lady was so incredibly rude about our 6 returns. I absolutely LOVE this store. The whole staff is incredibly friendly, they run like clockwork, and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. We don't own a printer right now, and I just got back into school, so it feels like I'm there every two weeks or so right now. They make it incredibly easy: email what I need printed to the store with instructions (b&w/color/stapled/etc.), include an optional timeframe, and head over to pick it up! My jobs are always perfect and either waiting for me, or printed as soon as I get to the register to pick up. I've been helped the most by Beth and Josh -- they're always a delight to see and treat my projects with care, even if it's just a one page printout. Even on the VERY rare occasion there's been a hiccough, the managers support their team and make the best experience they can for the customer! On one visit, the color copier wasn't cooperating -- it happens sometimes! -- and though I was ready to pay for a black and white version, they sent me on my way with the copy on the house and apologies for the delay. They are TREASURES. I hope you'll find out for yourselves soon! read more

I've used this store regularly for over 10 years. Any reviews that speak to rudeness or unresponsiveness were written by people who came in rude and impatient and probably expecting UPS to do everything for them. I usually just drop my labeled packages and get a receipt and bounce. But any thing beyond that that was needed, I had great assistance. There are always familiar faces and everyone takes pride in their work. I'm so excited Sunday hours were added - that's such a convenient day for me. Keep up the great work everyone! read more

I am incredibly disappointed in this location. I dropped off a package on a Sunday and was told it would be there on Thursday. By Tuesday I noticed the tracking number was not working so I called to check on it, they couldn't find it! once they did they sent it out 3 days late, and the delivery has moved from the original Thursday, to Saturday and still has not been delivered. I will never use this store again, or UPS for that matter. I shipped quite a few boxes to this store and they lost almost 20% of them. Unapologetically. Even though I had spoken with 3 employees prior to shopping my boxes, one of which was the store manager, both the store owner and the store manager did nothing to help retrieve my boxes even though they had signed for all of them (I still have the PDFs of their signatures). They pushed me off to other locations or blamed corporate procedures. I'm so terribly disappointed. read more
