I cannot say enough good things about Vick and his staff at Minuteman Press Tysons (Natalie in particular). My fiancée and I found them through a simple google search when looking for a local print shop to order our wedding invites & RSVP cards. We had already designed the invites ourselves, but were looking to have them all printed, cut and ready to mail out to our guests. From start to finish, Vick was very accommodating from helping us choose a paper stock that we liked to presenting a beautiful finished product. They didn't have the right samples in shop, so he ordered those first so we could come in and take a look at over some-hundred options, and were able to pick one that we really liked. While he was out of town, Natalie continued to assist us and it was a seamless process to get them done and couldn't be happier with how they turned out. When we went in to pick them up, we also also asked them to do address-printing for us on our envelopes in addition (which we already purchased in advanced and had the addressing typed out) and it was SO QUICK; took less than 10 minutes and we were out the door with everything ready to go. Overall, they are a great local print shop that gets the job done the right way. They went above and beyond, from ordering the samples and stock for us overnight so that we could get everything done by our communicated deadline, to even letting us come in an hour before they opened one morning (THANK YOU NATALIE) to see those samples before heading into work, and with smiles on their faces every time we went in. Pricing was very fair and affordable (much better than those bigger print companies in the area), and especially for the quality of the final product. From our first interaction with Minuteman Press and Carol Ann not only did everything go smoothly but they went above and beyond our expectations offering touch-up's to our art, advice on the print layout and even printed some extras of all our paper products after the wedding to use in a scrap book. Like most people Who search for services I started by asking (in my case) a local online group if they knew someone who could handle a short notice printing job. (Honestly to small for printing centers and to big for like a Kinkos in my time frame) I was quoted $0 because they wouldn't talk to me unless I wanted to print 600 items, I only needed 100. Feeling defeated I was recommended Minuteman Press and I figured I just give it a try expecting to be shamed for my quantity but to my surprise, from the moment they said hello these guys were genuinely there to help. They appear to be a business that's been around a long time and older companies tend to lose their drive to satisfy anything outside of their set ways but these guys treated my order as if I was spending Major dollars. The commutation was great, even had me make some adjustments so my quality would print the Highest possible. That to me was even more amazing. Some places would just take the job and roll since I'm the one who designed it poorly but Vivek sent back and email and kindly said "check this out, notice this, let me know if you'd like to proceed etc." Then to top it off Vivek happens to live closer to my home and after his long day at work, was willing to meet me simply for my convenience. Had birthday party invitations created by someone and emailed to me. Turned out they were the wrong size. Figured I could take them to printer and they could fix it to proper size. WRONG! Went to Kinkos, Office Max and Staples. I'll give them credit for trying, but they were stuck on altering via ratios. Went to this location of MM with my hair on fire as I was already late for work. I just about threw the paper I had already purchased elsewhere at them and emailed the invite to them. Told them I needed the invite fixed - didn't know or care how, just fix it, PLEASE! I figured theyd wind up making the entire invite again (and was prepared for such). I couldn't have been more than 20 minutes down the road before they called me and said my invites were ready! WHAT?! To top off their excellent customer service, they also didn't gouge me on price. I walked out of there with 50 invites for $30! Although they're a bit far for me to travel, I'll gladly make that drive just for peace of mind. read more

I've used Minuteman Press twice now (it would be MANY more, but I do not live in the area) and cannot say enough good things about them. Not only are they incredibly friendly, helpful and professional, but they actually know what they're doing! My first encounter with Minuteman Press was more than a year ago; my husband and I had our wedding thank you cards printed there. I mention it because not only was it a great experience, but when we returned this past month for another print job, they actually remembered us! Anyway, this time around, I was printing something in which the coloring was very unique. At most places, they would have printed the items and sent you on their way, whether or not the color was right, but at Minuteman Press, they worked tirelessly to make sure that what I had envisioned on screen was what was coming out of the printer. As a designer, my least favorite part of the process has been the printing stage simply because it's usually a headache of an experience filled with a lot of "no"'s and not enough "yes"'s. I've wasted a lot of time going to Staples, Kinkos and other print shops who claim to do it all, but at Minuteman Press, they are patient, willing to help and true experts at what they do. Not to mention, they are a great value -- especially considering the effort and labor they put in to getting it right. I only wish I had a Minuteman Press in my area! Not only were they incredibly helpful and pleasant at all times, but the product that I needed in a hurry was better than I ever imagined. I was so happy when I found this place, and I decided to give them a try for my graphic designs. to be honest that was one of my bad choice in my life, they don't even know what a professional graphic designs is. As result I receive a email about the proposal and I told the person that was not a good design, the person never return my email and 3 days later I ask at least for a 50/% of the payment that I made when I sing in I never hear back. I am so surprised at all of the good reviews. 1) Minuteman Press assumed details without listening/hearing what I had said. 2) They sent emails and bills to the wrong party - which actually would have been in my favor but still - it was wrong. 3) They called to ask when I was bringing in my rider...only to tell me upon arriving that they messed up and put my decals on a colleague's rider. (Telling me on the phone would have been considerate and saved me stress and time) 4) They thought the solution would be to use my colleague's rider when I had specifically told them that I had to have a different size (I had given them measurements) - my colleague's rider wouldn't fit my sign. 5) I needed the rider for the next day (Friday) and even though they made the mistake, they unabashedly said that they couldn't have it ready until Monday! 6) Twice as expensive as the Business who saved me - see below. I drove straight to Catchysigns 6182-A Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044 and within 20 minutes of arrival I had my rider - perfect and for literally 1/2 the price!! They will now receive all of my business. read more
