Great service, lovely architecture in every location I've been to, every carrier I've had has been lovely. As for this location? Go to any other post office in the county. I've only seen two people behind the counter, and of the two I will say that the woman is lovely. The man talks to people like he'd rather watch them take their own life than continue the transaction for another second. During my most recent visit he got mad at me for "not following the directions on screen" after the card reader had an error. I inserted my card, the reader had an error and said to remove it, and so I did. This happened directly in front of him and he got mad at me for a mistake the machine made. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, I've worked customer service before, it's draining at the best of times I understand, maybe every day I've encountered him he's had a bad day, but good lord dude. If you know when to go in to get anyone else it's a perfectly fine location, but if I see him behind the counter next time I'm just going to UPS.

Another option would be to just have Fed Ex pick your package up at your residential address, which is 16$. Lastly, Walgreens on Bethel also offers the same service but I'm unsure whether they charge similarly obscene fee's. After looking at the situation in more detail it appears this excessive markup seems to only apply to Sunday delivery. Through Fed Ex a Sunday delivery by noon 111.44 and through Pack and pay a lot, it would have been in excess of $300. Pack a Pay a lot charged us 102.85 for a Monday by 8pm which is Standard Overnight and Fed Ex would have charged 98.14, which isn't much of a price difference.

They said the cheapest they could ship was $54. I politely declined, stating that was worth the extra trip to the post office. She said, "oh, I've got the post office rates right here. The cheapest they'll do it for you is $124." I balked. That didn't sound right at all. She assured me they were the cheapest by far. I went to the post office. $25. I told the Post Office Clerk what they claimed USPS would charge and he said he hears those stories all the time, and he wished they weren't allowed to lie like that. I won't go back. I've lived in other towns where the local UPS franchise was wonderful, kind, and helpful. This isn't that.

Last two were so messed up they were rejected by the recipient of those documents. I called about a refund and was told they only offer resigning, but they would check on a refund and call me back. There was an event and the shredder was full. One employee sat on the area where a person would drop off a package. Another told me to leave my bag and they would keep it in the back. Again I was told to leave my bag and I told them no and walked out. I am disappointed in the lack of courtesy and customer service. You could have edgered me to another store that could help me. You could have stopped chatting among yourselves and talked to me. I was the only customer in the store. I will not be returning to your store as there are other stores that welcome me and appreciate my business. I know I am one person, but I will be telling everyone I know to go elsewhere.

It is difficult to support a small, local business when the employees are ignorant re the services they provide, but are rude to customers as well.

Went here to see about shipping a special package that needed a specific sized box. They had a…read morevariety of sizes and the sweet lady was able to find a box that was just 1" wider than the package I needed to ship. It was perfect! She was very helpful in her advice about shipping options starting with the Best Value (time and price) per Carrier. She then made sure the package was secure in the box and taped it up tightly. This is the 2nd time I've been in here and both times the service was excellent! Very nice place, clean, organized, efficient and helpful.
